sunkoye: holatin:Who is a VIDIOT? VIDIOT - VIsual i.DIOT - A vidiot is any person who believes everything he/she SEES without critical analyzing them. The hypocrisy emanating from you both is as nauseating as the sight of Tinubu's displayed dentition. When the issue of your paymaster not possessing an SSCE is raised, you hallucinating lots from the PSEUDO-PROGRESSIVE stock masquerading as holders of the panacea to the nation's problems scream blue murder and try to shield your uneducated Buhari with your clichéd concocted hogwash but you find it easier to challenge GEJ doctoral thesis which has been confirmed as authentic unlike your paymaster O'level certificate. Whatever side of the political and/or ethnic divide you stand on, you can't deny the fact that terror organizations only grow when the local population shields them from the anti-terror groups. The ND militants hid within the riverine communities until the reverse became the case and the Boko Haram sect were being protected by the North-Eastern people who assumed they were "fighting for the cause of Islam"...well, not until they started attacking the natives. . MPs say yes to three-person babies. By James Gallagher, Health editor, BBC News website, 3 February, 2015. In an historic move, MPs have voted in favour of the creation of babies with DNA from two women and one man.The UK is now set to become the first country to introduce laws to allow the creation of babies from three people. In a free vote in the Commons, 382 MPs were in favour and 128 against the technique that stops genetic diseases being passed from mother to child. During the debate, ministers said the technique was "light at the end of a dark tunnel" for families. Proponents said the backing was "good news for progressive medicine". The Chief Medical Officer Prof Dame Sally Davies said a yes vote would put the UK at the forefront of scientific development. A further vote is required in the House of Lords. It everything goes ahead then the first such baby could be born next year. Critics say they will continue to fight against the technique that they say raises too many ethical and safety concerns .Life-saving- The technique, which was developed in Newcastle, should help women like Sharon Bernardi, from Sunderland, wholost all seven of her childrento mitochondrial disease. 1) Two eggs are fertilised with sperm, creating an embryo from the intended parents and another from the donors 2) The pronuclei, which contain genetic information, are removed from both embryos but only the parents' are kept 3) A healthy embryo is created by addingthe parents' pronuclei to the donor embryo, which is finally implanted into the womb. SAFETY CONCERNS A review by the Nuffield Council on Bioethics, as well as a public consultation by the fertility regulator, argued the creation of three-person babies was ethical. Three scientific reviews by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) suggest the technique is "not unsafe".Yet some scientists argue those reviews were flawed. Dr Ted Morrow, from the University of Sussex, believes there are still uncertainties."I have some concerns about the safety, I'm really not happy that the reviews have been as exemplary as other people think they are."Prof Lisa Jardine, former chair of the HFEA, said the safety issue was a "red herring"."All of those issues have been investigated," she said. "The scientific committees have said there is no evidence this procedure is unsafe but likeall good scientists, they say it will requirecareful progress."Bishop of Swindon Dr Lee Rayfield said this procedure was a "massive step" andsome of his colleagues were concerned about how it was going to be regulated once approved."If the safeguards are there, the Church of England will be behind this," he added.Rachel Kean, whose aunt died from mitochondrial disease, told BBC Breakfast that a yes vote would "prevent some of the cruellest and most devastating diseases, not just for the next generation but generations after". She said there had been an"unprecedented" amount of scrutiny into the regulation and a lot of misinformation about "designer babies". If politicians vote it through, then the HFEA is expected to give Newcastle a licence to carry out the procedure. The first attempt could take place this year, which could lead to the first birth in 2016. Source: http://m.bbc.com/news/health-31069173 |

xamster: You might "hit" but you certainly wouldn't run when you meet a person who possesses the qualities I stated...and that depends on if you aren't shallow yourself. ivyT: |
Princecalm:Actually, monsieur, I have - I am in a loving relationship with one and I revel in every minute of it. You can too if you make some adjustments to your priorities and philosophy. |

Nneka123: sauceny: It beats my imagination as to why contemporary youths can't take time out to spell, punctuate and generally their sentences correctly. To cover their grammatical defects maybe? Or to circumvent the fact their vocabulary stock is way too depleted. Consequently, it has affected their spoken and written English. Ask most of them to address a crowd and you'll go red with embarrassment...on their behalves. They hide being their now stale clichéd defenses such as "English no dey carry person go anywhere", "money on my mind" and "no dey form Wole Soyinka give us". Even with their poor command of the English language, they still try to engage in battles of words with you...and end up being the butts of the jokes. In my twenty-something years on Earth thus far, I've realized , via experience, that people who can't properly express themselves online can't do so offline. They can barely hold intelligent discussions for lengthy periods. I've always set a standard for myself when interacting with others especially the females. A female with whom I foresee myself getting deeply involved with has to: *Be smart *Possess a level of worldliness (knowledge about world issues) , engage me in battle of wits *Be able to hold her own against me *Counter me with articulated points when the need arises *Critically analyze situations and proffer solutions on her own even if I'm not around *Be versatile. She should be multifaceted. Her interests should vary from politics to psychology/philosophy and from music/movies to biology. Before you go you'll-only-meet-her-in-your-dreams on me, I've already met such females- several of them. I'm currently dating one. I know you don't find such females everyday but the truth is: You're who you attract. Set your priorities. The secret to being in a relationship is compatibility. The aforementioned criteria (characteristics if you like ), for me, makes me want to be with a female more. Such traits would help you two become friends and lovers if you so desire. You both know you can converse about anything to each other. I have conversed about menstrual cramps and the solutions with my missy who's an English student and I a biomedical student and we make it seem like we are talking about the weather Females who are that insightful tend to be more rational (they wouldn't just jump into conclusions). They are less materialistic too. They know their worth. They know their versatility and intelligence would make headway for them. They know they'll make it. The lover in them might be pissed off at you but the friend within wants to hear your side of the story. And you'll less likely want to cheat on them too. She gives you everything you want physically and emotionally. This article has been multifaceted. From vocabulary to love to inter-human interactions and ,generally, life issues. ....The son of Mark |

omenka:Hey, who do we have here? Oh! It's the dimwitted, bionic, irrational and morally-bankrupt transvestite whose clichéd hogwash are motivated by the ill-funds made available to it (yes, it - since you are a robot). The same "PROGRESSIVES" alluded to the "FACT" that GEJ was stoned by the Alma.jiris because of his "UNDER-PERFORMANCE". So I wonder why they are being stoned by members of THEIR TRIBE? For "OVER-PERFORMANCE" maybe? These hypocrites are definitely suffering from the remnants of some cerebro-paralyzing nosocomial infection. What goes around comes around. |
Rendition:Dude, your spellings and punctuations repulse me. I understand you want several comments but a half-literate, dimwitted, scum-like nonentity like you isn't worth my time. Your I.Q is too low and I sure won't lower my standard (of writing/typing) for you or anyone. |
Collynzo419:And who do we have here?... Oh, it's another knucklehead. In your haste to type your hogwash of a comment you skipped my rebuttal to his 'claims' where I stated where the loyalties of MEND and Boko Haram lie...which are well-documented in the media. I'm not your average Joe of a 'Nairalander' - I'll knock you all off with my factual typo-eloq uence. Go get your goons - I'm a one-man army. - TheSonOfMark...That intriguing Ibibio dude. |
DaBullIT:I don't know what's in your head but I'm certain it's not a brain. Is it not the same MEND that endorsed Buhari ? Is it not the same Boko Haram (Northern youths) that stoned GEJ? You , my friend, are a bumbling e-diot! Your cognizance and rational analysis of topical issues are below par. |
