Who would he be giving orders to? Umaru Dikko? even Adisa Akinloye the NPN chairman had more say in Govt than him.

That government was a govt of vultures. Shagari and Ekwueme were good men but truly figure heads. If any of them was truly in charge, that govt would have been better ran.

How much of the money he collects on his phantom security contracts with the FG has he ploughed back into the Niger Delta? How many businesses has he started in the Niger Delta which provides jobs for the ordinary man he claims to fight for? why won't he be screaming for war when he's comfortably established outside the country and only comes back at intervals to sign for his money?

The earlier you guys realise that things are not so clear cut into your tribal fiefdoms anymore, the better for you.

The Bauchi state police command has intercepted a High Trailer loaded with ballot boxes at a check point in Darazo local government area of the state.
Immediately the High Trailer was intercepted Saturday at 7:30 am, the rumour spread (wrongly) in the town like wild fire that the trailer was loaded with ballot papers allegedly thumb -printed for the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate.

As the vehicle later arrived at the police station, Government Reserved Area (GRA), the police began to off load the items and it was discovered that the vehicle was actually carrying ballot boxes.

Our Correspondent gathered that vehicle took off from Lagos state and was heading to Gombe state but was intercepted at a check point in Darazo local government area.

One of the chieftains of All Progressive Congress in the state (name withheld) said they became curious because the vehicle was not an official vehicle of the Independent National Electoral Commission ,yet it was carrying such sensitive election materials all the way from Lagos to Gombe state without security personnel.

He said: “We are insisting that the content of the vehicle should be off loaded in our presence and newsmen to satisfy our curiosity.”

However, the police spokesman DSP Mohammed Haruna said he would make a comment after the content of the vehicle has been fully off loaded .
