Don't announce it, just do it. This was exactly the same thing Buhari said that he couldn't implement.
Personally, I don't think this is feasible because thousands of people will have to lose their jobs because they are not adding any value. You have to work for the money.
Go to federal secretariat in Abuja and see see civil servants loitering about the whole place. No office for them to even seat, talk more of work to do. But they get paid at the end of the month.

In such a situation, do you pay them same amount with people who work tirelessly to add value?


Meanwhile, all the palliatives and other incentives that I have seen so far are only targetted at civil servants and top private firms. From increase in salaries, to working from home, to reduction in the number of working days for civil servants.

What of millions of Nigerians that neither have a job nor business?

About 80% of Nigerians are either unemployed or underemployed. Yet, government hasn't said anything about such people.

I still maintain my stance that Atiku was the most prepared presidential candidate. Tinubu had 90 days before swearing in but he couldn't come up with this list. If not for the deadline, it could have been December. Even at that, it's still incomplete. Peter Obi would also struggle, because he hasn't networked enough. For example, can Obi honestly say he knows a qualified Nigerian from Yobe, Jigawa, Sokoto that could be ministers?
