Imagine a scenario where the three leading candidates are asked why they want to be president?

Peter Obi; I want to turn Nigeria from consumption to production.

Atiku Abubakar: I want to unify Nigeria

Bola Tinubu: It is my turn.

Your turn to do what?

Tinubu's sense of entitlement is just on another level.

Tinubu might be loved by the delegates, but definitely not by the electorates.

No sick old man with a terrible sense of entitlement will be president of Nigeria.

You can take that to the bank.

North your mate 2023.

The way we are reacting to this Queen's death ehn, it further proves the assertion that the black man is a slave to the whites.

Have we not been losing monarchs in Nigeria? Did the "whites" react to it? Nope! I know one idiot will say say otherwise.

I'm very sure if it was an African president that died, the likes of CNN and BBC will just casually report the news. They won't spend an hour discussing what he did and didn't do during his life time.

It is late Queen Elizabeth's death that was discussed in all our media stations this evening. From AriseTV, to Channels TV and the terribly incompetent AIT. I mean, WTF?

So I will leave CNN, BBC, Aljazeera and then tune to Channels TV, AriseTV and the very useless AIT on news about the Queen's death?

Early this year, when the Russian-Ukraine war started, Channels TV quickly created a special program called Russian Invasion. for one whole hour. Ironically, the killings that was going on in Kaduna during that same period was more than the one happening in the Russian war. Why not create a special program called Kaduna Killings? 9ja why?
Who do us this thing?

I'm not saying they should not report it or something like that. But how can you dedicate an hour of a local TV station to discuss the death of a foreign monarch?

I honestly don't care about what she represented, millions of Nigerians don't know her. And they don't care because she cannot help them see food chop.

I tire for black man

But in any case, RIP to her.

If you say no to obi then something is wrong.
All progressive Nigerians both inshore and offshore is for ObiDatti.
For a new and beta naija.

Please do join.
Good morning.
In 2023, I'm not looking for a saint. I'm looking for someone that has solutions.
Obi, so far has not been convincing. All he's been able to tell Nigerians so far are some useless statistics that doesn't point to the solution. He's just a sweet talker with zero knowledge of the solutions.
He's the only candidate so far, that cannot resist the urge to shalaye , whatever that means.

As a governor, he didn't even achieve much.

He says he wants to turn Nigeria from consumption to production, which is good. But that's a general statement and he has not said how he intends to achieve it.

He said he will turn the vast land in the North to our oil, again, how?

On security, baba could not even say something reasonable, he even said he doesn't want to disclose his plan, utter rubbish!

A good percentage of Nigerians who are rooting for him are just doing that simply because they are tired of PDP and APC.
In 2015, we said we were tired of PDP, that was how APC came in. Look at where we are today?

He's coming as a saint and someone with simplicity.

Goodluck Jonathan told us he went to school without shoe and that he understands what it means to be poor. That he wants to give poor Nigerians fresh air. At the end, he did nothing for the common man.
Buhari came with integrity and contentment, how far are we today?
Now Obi is parading himself as a saint. Could history be about to repeat itself?

I hope not.

Good morning, and have a blessed day
Politics › Re: I’m Not Sure Of Another Chance After 2023 General Elections – Tinubu by Think9ja(m):
A part of me was really rooting for this man. Until few weeks before and after the primaries, he showed the typical Nigerian politician that he is; Selfish, insensitive and inconsiderate. .

First, it was his sense of entitlement. That "Emilokan"
word is not supposed to be used by anyone aspiring for power.

I was still trying to convince myself to manage him until he shocked us all by settling for a same faith ticket.

And me as a northern non Muslim, I know what the non Muslims in the North are going through because I have experienced it first hand.

Right now, nothing Tinubu says or do that will change my mind against his candidacy.

If na Tinubu with this ticket go fix Nigeria, make the country remain like this till infinity.

The chief statistician himself.

Keep bringing out useless statistics while your opponents are busy telling Nigeriana what they will do

If this was how he won the Anambra governorship election then, then it's safe to say that Anambra once had a clueless figure freak as governor.

I'm not looking for a saint in 2023, I need someone with the political will to get us back on track.

The last two presidents of Nigeria were a complete disaster, all because they told us they were both saints.

Never again!

Again, no entitled grand father will rule been Nigeria

Politics › Re: FACT CHECK: How True Are Claims By Tinubu, Shettima About Size Of Lagos Economy by Think9ja(m): 11:44pm On Aug 25, 2022
Lagos is not Nigeria's commercial nerve center because Tinubu did this and that. Lagos is what it is because the state was structured to be the economy hub of Nigeria.

How one man is taking credit for everything that goes on there is just beyond me.

Take Abuja for example; The city was structured for only administrative purpose. Reason why the city is just useless and unproductive.

Sadly, none of the candidates is even talking about how to make Abuja a a productive city.

We need another economic city in Nigeria, maybe that may reduce the hype about Lagos being this and that.

South Africa has about four economic hubs in the top twenty in Africa.

We just de useless and unproductive for this country I swear

Haven said that....

All these people saying Tinubu is popular in the North bla bla bla.

Tinubu is not popular among the electorates. He's only popular among a few elites. I doubt if El-Rufai is for Tinubu, and he has a large following.
I honestly haven't seen someone that has said he wants to vote Tinubu in where I currently live.

I've seen a few Obidients, a few Atikulateds and a very very minute Kwankwasiyas.

I swear to you that people here don't like or want to vote Tinubu.

Maybe that might change before the elections tho

The only political value Wike has is Rivers State oil money.

Take that out, and he's nothing.

PDP needs that oyel money (at least before they get back into power), that's why every member is trying so hard to pacify him to stay and support the party.

Also, Wike should also remember the fact that the likes of former governors Peter Odili and Rotimi Ameachi are still there with their own influence and structures. He's not the only one with large following in Rivers.

Ameachi's body language has been quiet towards this election.

Baba no want take side yet.

I'm happy Gowon is alive today to see the state of the country he fought so hard to build.

Lack of vision is actually worse than illiteracy.

If Gowon had a tiny level of vision, he would have known that this entity called Nigeria was never going to survive

Nigeria was structured to collapse from inception.

We are just deceiving ourselves with this issue of one Nigeria.

And the more we pretend, the more our problems increase.

We need to sit down and negotiate our coexistence. It is something that should be done every five to ten years. We are so polarized along different lines, yet, they say it's nothing.
