Another Nollywood actor, filmmaker and the chairman of Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN), Sam Obiago is dead.

This was disclosed by some of his colleagues who took to social media to express their shock.

According to one of the colleagues, “He has been ill for a while now. So yesterday he started feeling very illl and he was rushed to the hospital at midnight. He gave up in the early hours of today.”

Sam Obiago is a Nigerian born Nollywood actor, film maker, TV personality and movie producer who has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies.

Adieu Prince Ifeanyi Dike... I remember walking into your office in Surulere in 2006. Fresh from Youth Service, lost over what I'd do with myself, a young graduate of Theatre Arts. You made me write some of your shows on NTA 7, Tejuosho. And then we worked on many other stuffs, especially The Hair Braiding Competition sponsored by Xpressions at the Airport Hotel Ikeja. You were so creative that you thought up anything and like magic we got sponsors. I survived Lagos with your help and I will never forget you Sir. When the first bouts with that Kidney failure came up some years back. I knew you would beat it and come back better because you were a fighter. Of course, you did. My Boss.... With tears ladened eyes, I say Adieu.
