Why do women even shy away from that area of specialisation? We seem to have more men as gynaecologist. Let the doctor do his job, as long as he keeps it within the professional boundaries.

Becoming a gynae is stressful,takes more long hours of training and is a hindrance to having a settled family.It is easier for men because your work can take you out of the house for 48hrs sometimes.

Doctors have no business examining a pregnant woman's private parts except if she has an infection down there. What they mostly do is listen to baby's heartbeat, listen to her heartbeat, take BP (if it has not been taken by a nurse) listen to her complaints and advise appropriately. @bolded,what book of scope of medical practice did you get that from?That is what OBYs/GYN are actually trained to do.They offer medical care to women during pregnancy,during childbirth and post-birth Part of such care include examination of reproductive organs.

I dated this guy when I was in the university and we broke up. Fast forward years later we meet again and he we start off dating barely months now.
I discovered I'm pregnant yesterday and he says he's not ready for a child cos he's financially not okay amidst other things.

Seriously? At 39 years old you don't know the consequences of unprotected sex and you don't know what plans a guy has for you at this stage to determine if he's worth it?
As it is now,he may or may not marry you.I will advise you keep the baby.You are advanced in age and the fact that you have had a myomectomy.Future pregnancies may not easily come and if they do,you are going to be classed as a high risk pregnancy(I speak only from a medical perspective).
You could end up a single mother but life goes on.I don't think you will regret having the baby in the future.

You should continue with your business while you make plans to go back to school.
Like you said,the money you have once you register for school will not be enough to do any business again.
What I will advise is that you continue with growing your business and defer going for HND for like a year.See how things turn out and decide if you can combine the two later.
As for travelling out,shelve the idea for now.I really don't what jobs are in Dubai.I know the men do odd jobs mainly while the ladies are often escorts.You can travel out much later if that is what you really yearn for but I don't think that is your first option now.
