Church wedding is not written anywhere in the Bible, it's only a western culture that is fastly becoming Christian doctrine and binding people in extremism.

The wedding at Cana in the Bible was a traditional wedding, that of Jacob to Leah and later Rebecca were also traditional weddings et al. What is the aim? to honor the family of the bride as she is not Oduduwa that came from the sky neither did the Pastor or Priest give birth to her.

You can go inquire from the holy spirit, the moment a man pays a woman's dowry and fulfill all other requirements as stated by tradition or family the law against fornication is suspended in the spiritual realm for them.

As much as I am a Christian and believer, I frown at the fact that the church still considers a couple who has done only traditional marriage as not befitting to have sex. I have seen a couple wait for 5years after traditional wedding and leaving apart because they couldn't afford church wedding yet. I beg to differ; aren't they married.

I don't believe there's any negative consequence of not doing church wedding as I believe it's only to honor religion and for proper Christian home building counseling prior to the wedding. It's worse that these days they now add Sunday for thanksgiving.

advantageous. What is the benefit of Church wedding as you can still be counseled without ceremony?

The death of Christ didn't do away with the law.Rather it fulfilled it.Look at it this way,if you had N100 note and I come and give you N1000 naira note,will you rather keep the N100 note or release it and accept the N1000 note knowing fully well you have ten N100 naira already?
If indeed you accept the N1000,why would you insist on still seeing the N100 note?

I didn't say just 'believing' in God.It is actually accepting that Jesus Christ died,was buried and raised from the dead for your salvation.Not everyone believes that and certainly not devils.
Accepting the works of Christ is what sows that love in you because that work of Christ was sown in love.
The commandment is love.

Take your wife for counselling.Do it in church and also get the elders among your people talk to her.

If you love,why would you kill?Why would you steal from your neighbour or take his wife?Love covers up all the law.That was what Jesus came to do.He came to sow the love of God in the hearts of men.Men couldn't have that love.All they could do was try to observe the laws which they couldn't keep perfectly anyway as DoctorAlien agreed.

Lol. You contradicted yourself severally. Some dictionaries would tell you; Saturday for the Jews and Sunday for Christians. Was Jesus a Jew or a Christian? In fact, He was called "King of the Jews". If it's Saturday for the Jews and Jesus is a Jew and kept Saturday, who are Christians following/ honouring when they observe Sunday? You hold evening services on some other days of the week; that's cool but do the services on those services take the exact tune of your regular Sunday Services? Why does your church not do harvest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays? But on Sundays.
By the way, everyday cannot be the Sabbath (for Christians or Jews).

Jesus being a Jew died for mankind- non-jews inclusive.He brought about a new order that makes all mankind God's people.The Jews had God's religion which others didn't have.
Some services holding during the week sometimes take the exact tune of regular sunday service.The choice of sunday is just for convenience.
Let me give you a poser: in UAE churches hold on fridays.

A Christian has only one 'commandment' and that is to love God and his neighbour.When he does that,he fulfils all other 10 commandments.So a Christian is not observing 1 or 2 or 3 commandments as given to the Jews.
Yes Jesus didn't come to abolish the law but love fulfils every bit of the law and that is what Jesus delivered.

From where you quoted, Paul was among the people called "Christian". You'd find this same Paul keeping the Sabbath in Acts 17:2.

That answers your question.

You need to understand the expression used in that passage.Apostle Paul was not keeping the sabbath.Rather he went into the synagogue because he knew the jews observing the sabbath were there and he used the opportunity to share scriptures with them.
