Bottom-line, people are told to be vigilante and keep safe. Don't go to dangerous areas at night, dress modestly and if possible walk with a guy to some places.

We live with a world where there is crime. We cannot wish that aware. Crime cannot be justified, but even with a death penalty, people will still commit crime. No wonder people still bring drugs into Indonesia even with a death penalty. Sorry crime will always be there, no matter the penalty and crime cannot be justified. Each person has to protect themselves in every way against crime.

People rape women in purdah and rape underage children.Some men rape total strangers who are fully clothed before the incident.You see it's not the unclothedness,it's first the mind of the rapist.

Indecent dressing is no reason to rape.Like some people have observed,don't make yourself vulnerable especially when you know your environment.

Christianity started with Jesus Christ!He came to perfect God's plan for mankind.After Adam and Eve fell in the garden of Eden,man fell into sin and lost his glory.The bible says,'all have sinned and come short of the glory of God'(Romans 3:23).Man could no longer function in God's glory and ways as God desired.People began to do things according to the sin nature in them.God nevertheless related with men(men of God as you say)despite their limitations even though they did not function as God wanted(and they could not because of the sin nature).It didn't mean God approved their ways(including marrying more than one wife) but He chose to overlook it.

Jesus came to free men from the sin nature and for men to receive the lost glory and function the way God wanted.A prophecy by prophet Ezekiel was fulfilled with the coming of Jesus.'And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them'(Ezekiel 36:27).God said I will put My Spirit in them.They could not(prophets of old)receive the Spirit of God(the Holy Spirit) until the coming of Jesus.He could not dwell in man until he was free of the sin nature.It is then that man can walk in God's perfect will.

The plan of God from the beginning is one man,one wife.Jesus said,'And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,(Matthew 19:4).He didn't make them male and some females.

yazach,when you accuse me of twisting the bible,i know it's because you are ignorant of Scriptures.We study Scriptures and not just assume.

Who told you the bible does not speak about a man marrying just one wife?You must be one of those who choose to use the bible the way it suits you then.

The fact that some christians are doing the wrong thing does not mean that every christian does.There are some who have been faithful to their wives for years.You need to hang around my circle.

Christianity is more than 'religion'(not many understand that however).Jesus is the Head and Christians the 'body'-the Church.
We need to attend a place to fellowship together and that is why we go to a building called 'Church'.The bible says we should not forsake the assembly of the brethren.
Your friend who does not go to Church again has not stopped being a Christian but puts himself in a position where his growth may be limited.You need other Christians to function effectively.
