LastProphet:
there is a lot to learn from what i said if you have enough experience to contemplate it. every human feeling has highs and lows and there is no feeling that remains CONTINUOUSLY HIGH ALL THE TIME! Please that is the message hollywood tries to sell and am telling you and any married person of over 10years here will tell you that. Some mornings you will wake up and wish you never even married - go and ask anyone that has a reputation for hard truths. Why the OP is thinking she has an issue is because of expectations which are not real. In terms of sex I have bee tired of my partner long long ago please, but i will not exchange her for the hottest kim kardashian BECAUSE OF OTHER VALUES SHE HAS THAT KIM CAN NEVER MEASURE UP TO IN MY OWN LITTLE WORLD! So I expect a matured partner to understand it that the area of sex is on a normal decline and IT IS NORMAL!!!!!!

But please there are exceptions to this sha, there are men and women with very high libido that must sleep with their partner everyday from what i heard, infact if the partner isnt around they will still sleep with something sha, but please if any television show is tellinh you that that is normal and is what all couples do then you are welcome to disneyland
I agree with what you said about periods of lows and highs because it's real in marital life. However,it is not normal to stay away from intimacy for more than two months according to the Op while living in the same house and not showing affection (which does not necessarily mean intercourse).
I'm married too and even though sometimes you don't 'feel' this thing, you make a concious effort to keep the flame glowing except you don't really care about the woman you married.
Remember, they have just been married for 5yrs.

LastProphet:
don't sit anybody down it turns people off, please grow up and stop believing all those trash you watch on American channel. after 5 years and 2 kids no normal man or woman is hot about the partner anymore, I think you are naturally clingy and you are soon going to create a problem where there is none. if its possible travel or separate a while at least for 1 month and face your career if you have one. lastly we are not foolish like americans who wake up every morning and say i love you to their mother before she can believe they love her, here in Nigeria where people are more emotionally and socially mature you dont need to say that trash before your mother knows you will die for her anyday. youg lady your marriage has no problem o except immature expectation
Are you like the Op's hubby?

Have you really tried to sit him down to discuss this and let him know how you feel?
If a man stays away from sex for two months,he either has a medical issue that has made his libido drop or he is getting it elsewhere.
Some men get bored with sex with their wives especially if she makes it routine(missionary style alone e.t.c).It's no excuse to begin to stay away but the woman should get the initiative and a matured man should communicate it.

By the way,why is he coming back late of recent? Is he busier at work or just hanging out?
You guys need intimate talk.

Why don't you show us how Jesus prayed?
'When he had withdrawn a stone's throw from them,he knelt down and prayed...(Luke 22:41)Kneeling is the only thing revealed about Jesus' position in prayer. He didn't go through the sequences of the islamic way of prayer.

rildwanullahi:
you should do that too , cost Islam is the way and am very very sure, or why else will it discuss everything about Jesus because even Jesus prayed the Islamic way
Common sense.Muhammed came after Jesus. Why won't it be easy to discuss an event that had happened already?

Jesus didn't pray in any islamic way.I know you guys have to say that to feel good about yourselves.

what is the name of the prophet that brought Buddhism
Prophet. Buddha.
johnydon22:

Bros Buddha predates both Christianity and Islam or even Jesus and muhammed... so this analogy doesn't work..

Use Mormonism instead
Yea.
Mormonism came to correct the errors in Islam. You should follow mormonism.

So Buddha is the way to correct the one of islam?

i remember when i was in secondary school i lost a classmate who drank abortion concoction on campus and was rushed to the hospital where she died some few minutes later.Till today her mother is behaving as if she has gone mad.Her mother loved her so much. Please ladies avoid abortion at all cost ,please don't ever get to a stage where you would need to abort i beg you on my knees.Children are a precious gift i beg you.If you don't want children please avoid pregnancy
Sex education should be taught to young girls(and boys) early. It's a pity her mother loved her so much but should have drummed it well into her ears the consequences of sex.

Okay,I'm just trying to look at possible causes.
There's something called an overactive bladder. If all other causes are ruled out, then that might be a possibility.
You can go to a teaching hospital and ask to see a urologist if it persists.

If you have tested your urine for infections and diabetes and it's negative, then your may have to consider getting an examination of your prostate especially if you are above 40yrs.

It's seems like this issue of post partum psychosis is now more common than ever.

I think hospitals should be doing impromptu follow up checks on new born babies within a certain period after birth and assess the mental health of the mothers before and after birth.

I don't know know what the statistics are for child mortality resulting from post natal depression/psychosis but they seem pretty high and increasing. embarassed
Most women who suffer post partum psychosis usually have a history of mental illness or a family history.A proper assessment of a pregnant woman is the best way to pick such cases. Most women will also present a few days after birth so the hospital can start treatments for such cases on time.in the western world,it might be easier to do follow-ups but in Nigeria follow-up is poor.
If the problem starts at home,it might be difficult(I guess that's the case of the woman in the story).

Generally mental illness is on the increase. In the case of post partum psychosis,i don't know if single parenthood(baby mama) contributes to it.Being in a loving and stable relationship does help to prevent it.

Thanks bro.
She is not a widow, she is teacher in a goverment school. she has 5 children just two are working now and fiance is the only son.

I dont know because she is not even the asoebi and owanbe type at all. Telling him is the problem because I know this will break him down as he tries his best for his mum and siblings.

Father-in-law to be is a missionary but all the same its not an excuse for this, I can't even tell my mum about this issue. Thanks.
Okay, call your fiance and ask him about his mum's financial status.Tell him you spoke with his mum and she was complaining about lack of funds. From his response, you will be able to deduce some things that will help you know how to proceed with the issue.
Family › Re: Advice Needed On Mother-in-law To Be. by thorpido(m):
Really bad and shameless behaviour your MIL-to-be has.
Let me ask about your fiance's background. Is she a widow? Is your fiance the only child?

You will have to let your fiance know but apply tact.Ask him about MIL2be's finances, how much income she makes and how she takes care of her expenditure. In what way do the children augment her income?

You have to put a stop to this. You're not working yet she demands. What happens when you start to work? She's got a bad habit and is probably biting more than she can chew.I guess she must be into an aso-ebi and owambe lifestyle.

Focus on your school work. You still have 2nd MB, 3rd MB etc to write. What if you have a resit or fail out totally?
Take this.
Just to add,the fact that your relationship is a no-sex relationship will make it easier for you guys to build your friendship.
Concentrate on your studies. If it's meant to be,it will be. I can't lie to you, from experience, this kind of relationship is hard. She's going to be ready after school and you're just going to be dealing with your finals then. You would have invested your time, attention etc and she might just walk.Girls at that stage hardly wait.

Just make your studies priority.
