Has he seen the ENT specialist? He can go to a teaching hospital to see one.It won't cost him much to do that.
Why was he expelled? If he can get a medical report to present to the school,I believe something can be done to re-instate him.
If he can't afford an hearing aid,he should look for ways to raise funds. He should also seek out some NGOs that may help.
Health › Re: A Nairalander Need Your Help On Excess Sweating by thorpido(m): 8:51pm On Dec 15, 2014
Hyperhidrosis can be an embarrassingcondition that can affect one's condition and level of socialising.
Unfortunately,it's a bit of a difficult condition to treat. The more advanced treatment options are laser therapy, botox injections and something called iontophoresis. You may not really get that in Naija.
If the sweating is more from the armpits, try and get an anti-perspirant called Drysol.
The use of baking soda or table salt also helps temporarily.Rub on the parts where you sweat regularly from.

How can one tell a BABY is a dwarf.
Pls allow the baby grow and develop first and give proper multivitamins.
The baby will have those features right from birth. They usually have short limbs.
It's the same way you can diagnose other congenital abnormalities eg Down syndrome.

Indeed from hell.Where is the father in all this?
My little exposure to the North shows the fathers generally do not give enough attention to the sons to raise them well.
Pretty mother and daughter.RIP

Young lady, you are not in the right place and you know it.It's the reason why you came here.
You got into all this mix-up for material gains and the man in your life exploited it.However, you can start afresh.
Take what Babyosisi said and follow it.You are still young and a better future awaits you.
This line that you have chosen will not give you the future you want.It will also draw you away from Jesus.

Just work towards securing your own accomodation in the shortest time possible.

^^^Not easy leaving a relationship and starting afresh. That is what a lot of girls said until they married.Looking back now, they wish they had quit.

There are certain issues we all deal with. However for someone to say anger is his nature and he won't change is a bad thing. It's anger mixed with arrogance.
He's hurting you emotionally now but it could turn to physical abuse later.

Tell him you want a break while he works on his anger.

He may have exaggerated the whole thing. If indeed the pastor harassed them that way, then it wasn't the right approach.

If he chose to just mock, let's see who stands at the end of it all.

It was my idea.. I sponsored it cus I was working with a big company before. 60 percent of the cash came from me while they paid the rest. My mum insisted I come home cus my friends and cousins told her I wanted to marry aa white girl... I accepted nd came home before the end of my programme to search for a job... now I expected they would be patient even if it takes donkey years. I finished the first year of my programme. A language programme.. as I told you I studied mass comm so I decided to study a foreign language so I could get worldwide acceptability cus I wanted to emigrate permanently without having to marry for green card or that shit. So you see why I feel bad. I could have stayed back in moscow and at least get a job as a translator for English rather I chose to come home cus am the only son of the family and first.
Well I don't think you being home is a bad idea after all.You will need a lot of patience.
Just keep being on the lookout for opportunities.Have you tried embassies?

I'm not blaming you for the current unemployment.Things are tough in the country.
If I may ask, whose idea was it to go abroad for studies?Who sponsored it?Did you make the choice to come back after your studies and why?

That's the part that relly gets me annoyed. I do practically everything they wnt. Infact at times when I wanna travel to go see my fiance my daad will tell me he h's one occasion to attend I have to drive him to or my mother remembers she wants to go to market and I have to carry bag and follow her while she buys foodstuffs. Infact the building my dad just finished building I supervised it till completion and most times I even carry cement and help out. What more do u want from a loyal child? I don't listen when people insult me that after travelling out I came home and don't have a job.. emotionally I am about to commit suicide..
I guess your parents are frustrated with the fact that after all they have done to put you through school, you can't get a job and be on your own.
Just take this as a passing phase and keep hope alive.Quite a number of people have been through and are going through this phase.
Family › Re: How Do I Get Out? by thorpido(m): 12:58pm On Dec 11, 2014
Like some people above me have said, try to create something. It's not about getting a job in a particular office,it's more about creativity nowadays.
How much helping out do you do in your house? You can't expect to live with your parents and not take up chores.I'm sure if you were doing much around the house your parents wouldn't complain.

The question of settling down next year depends on when you are able to secure a source of income.I think you should concentrate more on that.

Dude you aint serious, she gave him a mere shirt from a ceremony, and she mumuly called that crap a gift, abeg the mumu girl should at least spend money her so called love
She didn't say it was a birthday gift or her gift for Christmas.I'm sure it was ONE of many gifts. He also has a prerogative to use it anyway he wants. He could give it out or just wear it at home.
She never said he had to wear it to his office.

you collect shirt for wedding, mass distributed cloths you then think he should wear them, what an insult. Just imagine when u meet him that he was wearing party gift shirts wud you listen to him.
He doesn't have to use it and he could even use it at home.I wear some of these branded shirts round the house. He could do that too.The most important thing here is his attitude.

Even if it was a handkerchief,he should have kept it and even if he wouldn't use it,he could give it out later.
You dldn't tell him you bought it,you told him it was a gift from a marriage ceremony.
I hope it was a one-off thing,if not,I would have told you to keep him out forever just as he walked out on you.

You are dealing with a guy who has an attitude.

What kind of a man do you want and where do you think you can find them?
Family › Re: My Husband Doesn't Blv I Lost My Virginity To Him.it's Hurtful by thorpido(m): 2:44pm On Dec 10, 2014
Not all virgins bleed. However it is very rare. There are some women who are actually not born with a hymen.
Some other activities like finger fingering or vigorous sporting activities and bicycle riding can tear the hymen.

You should have discussed this with your hubby while dating and should have made him aware.Try and educate your hubby on this and if he doesn't believe you still, just move on with life and not let it be a big deal.

Politics › Re: Some Facts About Christmas by thorpido(m): 8:14pm On Dec 09, 2014
Those are facts. However, facts are not as important as truth.
Jesus said,I am the Way,the Truth and the Life.
He also said,He is the Lord of the Sabbath i.e the Lord of all days.If a day was used as a day to worship a pagan god,Jesus said He is the Lord of all days including days used to worship pagan gods.Christmas is not used to celebrate pagan gods by Christians so...........

It is common knowledge that 25th of December was not the birthday of Jesus. However, does it matter.Anyday, everyday,Jesus is celebrated.

The ignorant keep wrestling with Christmas celebration.Jesus said, like the pharisees, they pay more attention to the small things and leave out the deeper things.

I'm yet to see south-east states appoint non-indigenes into political offices though.
