Its logical that he was referring to nehemiah 8 verses 4-6. A good learner will read and digest. You don't abuse a contributor. By and large, Allah guides whosever HE wishes.
I should follow him in his ignorance?Allah guides muslims. We as Christians are guided by the One Who sent Jesus.

if it's true that he had deflected from islamic to christean , definiatly he had made a very wrong decision of his live . how could a person dump light for darkness , how could a person dump trueth for lies , how could a person dump a real and true religion from almighty ALLAH for a business venture and religion where the member are whorshiping human being . i wil use this medium to ulge the christean in the house to go lean the real way of whorshiping GOD almighty . it's written in your bible . go and read it . read the book (neahemahaire 8 :4-6) then you wil know the real religion dat belong to GOD almighty . am a muslim , and i remain in islamic til i die INSHALAH .
Isn't it always better to stick with what you know instead of displaying ignorance?
Where did you see neahemahaire in the bible?

Possibly one of the reasons he is now a footnote in the musical book of Nigeria. He allowed a dirty toto to finish him.
How were you raised? Why have you chosen to speak so bad about someone's wife?
If your words are a reflection of your religion, then I guess there's not more to say.

Rent increases almost every year. How much the wife earns is negligible. Transport can be negligible and is according to distance from home to and fro. Food also is negligible and depends on the state/location, if food there is relatively cheap. Other expenses are there o. Clothing, toiletries, Healthcare and emergency expenses. then bring in a child. Ah. sorry i can't be convinced otherwise. Except one person brings up an additional source of income or gets a better paying job.
Well I believe the group we are looking at is not the poor but a couple with moderate income and in a capacity to grow.Rent increases every year with other expenses.I believe this couple are also in a capacity to grow their income or rise on a salary scale.

Question is 80k a month, dont know why people are conjuring imaginary salary for the wife.
If she's not working nko?
Can someone draw up like living expenses say in a cheap state vs high end state?
N80k planning to marry a woman not working is a capital NO.

So just because a child brightens a home, you should just bring one into the world not minding if you can cater for that child? Do you know how much you spend to ensure your child is healthy? I want a breakdown on how a man earning 80k with a wife who earns less will manage with a child plus all other expenses in the home without one aspect or other suffering.
N80k(man)+N60k(wife) is N1.68m per year.
If rent is N150k per year, transport is N16k per month, for both of them(N192k per year).Food if they manage well will be about N70k per mth(N840k per year).
They will spend about N1.3m on their own expenditure.

I know of people who even earn less and have a family.
It depends on how they spend their money and what their priorities are
A serious couple can make do with this especially if you live outside of Lagos, PH and Abuja
How much is rent in Oshogbo?
Exactly what I'm saying. Some people are saying not have a baby yet.
If they live in Sango or Abeokuta, the rent won't be much and if transport is not much too,why can't they have a baby.

What plan are you talking about when there are expenses such as rent, feeding, transportation to work place to and fro, provision/toiletries in the home, e.t.c? how will you squeeze in the expenses of a child? Except your wife earns more than you do o!! If not that, this kind manage manage life plus squeezing in a child. Haba! Na life of poverty be that now. Dnt just bring in a child to avoid begging people for money. you then become debtor. Its common sense to withhold child bearing with that kind of salary.
All other house expenditure will be put into consideration of course.I said in my first post that the rent and transportation has to be put into consideration. If a couple stay in a minflat, pay rent of about N150k a year and live not far from their place of work, they will still have adequate funds to take care of a baby. The first few months, the baby can be on exclusive breastfeeding and they don't have to spend too much on diapers.

It's not my situation but i look around and see that some people wait too long to settle down and for me the advantages of starting early outweigh the disadvantages.

Chaircover,if a man earns N80k per month and his wife earns N60k per month,is there anything wrong with having a baby if they are prudent?

So why didnt the numerous children of the poor open doors for them? The numerous children homeless on the streets under bridge around the country nko? why didnt they make the parents rich overnight? Such a belief is for Naive myopic people. Its always good for us to be realistic about life. Do you know the huge chunk a single child slashes from somebody's salary? As the child grows, the expenses increase. This country is over populated already. we need serious population control.
I didn't say giving birth to a child should not come with a financial plan. The poor you talk about don't earn N80k per month.I'm talking about someone who earns N80k per month and has a working wife.

If your wife is also working then why not. Just dnt bring a child into the world yet o. That will be the begining of poverty. Before you know it, you and your wife will start squeezing face as if they forced you both to marry.
Some children are said to open doors.

You can get married with N80k per month.I would expect that your partner is working and earning something too.
Where you live? How much rent you pay and how far your place of work is to your home also matter.
You don't have to wait until you earn half a million before you marry.Start and manage your finances well.

Comic relief but smacks of ignorance.
The doctor should ask you what is wrong with you because it is part of what is called history and it helps with the diagnosis. You said he didn't test you, what do you think the nurse who took your vitals was doing? What do you think those results are for?Incidentally, you made fun of her.
Nigerian patients are part of the problem of healthcare just as much as the citizens of Nigeria are part of the reasons why they have irresponsible people in government.

they don't need education, what they need is enlightenment because they are so many poor educated people that will still insist on no condom
Education doesn't necessarily mean they have to go to a school. It could be informal. They just need to understand the need to have a child they can take care of and the means of preventing pregnancy.

How many can all these dirty beggars on the street be advised to have. Because last I checked they can't even take care of themselves let alone another human being.
Well,at least they would want to see their own offspring.Let them have just one.

Family › Young Sisters Harrased By Men On A Public Bus In India Fight Back. by thorpido(op): 11:04am On Dec 02, 2014
(CNN) -- Video of two sisters in India fighting back against men who allegedly harassed them has gone viral.

The footage shows Aarti and Pooja Kumar landing punches and thrashing the three men with a belt while riding a bus in the northern state of Haryana, an area with a reputation for hostility to women. Violence against women and rape in India have made international headlines in the past few years, and the scene of two women fighting back has sparked widespread praise on social media.

Aarti Kumar, 22, told CNN that she and Pooja, 19, were standing at a bus stop near their college Friday when the men came up to them and began taunting and throwing pieces of paper with their telephone numbers. The sisters tried to ignore the men but they persisted. Then they followed the sisters onto the bus, she said.

You're too poor to even ride the bus, Kumar recalled the men saying.

So she and her sister did what they thought they had to do to defend and protect themselves. One lurched toward one of the men, thrashing what looks like a belt. Both grabbed one man's sweater and pulled. Two of the men grabbed the women, and they struggled to get free. One sister pressed the palm of her hand against a man trying to overcome her. Aarti Kumar said that no one on the bus tried to help the sisters, and some passengers shouted for them to stop fighting the men and get off.

Women recorded fighting harassers

The men have been arrested, and charges are pending further investigation, police told CNN.

The video, shot by a passenger, has been shared in many news stories in India and inspired the Twitter hashtag "IFoughtThemBack."

Some women are tweeting that they too have fought men who harassed them and are glad that the video is garnering so much attention.

In a highly unusual turn, the government is rewarding the Kumar sisters for their actions.

Harayana's Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced that the sisters would be recognized with "bravery" awards that include cash on January 26, India's Republic Day.

Kumar said her parents have been very supportive of her and her sister, also unusual because girls and women in some areas of India are often discouraged from reporting instances of harassment.

Stories of rape and sexual harassment in India have received much attention recently.

In June, three brothers confessed to raping two teenage girls in Uttar Pradesh state. Police said at first that the suspects hanged their victims from a mango tree, but an investigation of their deaths concluded last week that the girls committed suicide.

A gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman in New Delhi in late 2012 brought into stark relief the danger that some women face in India. The crime ignited campaigns to call attention to violent crime that targets women.

I think there should be more of this. Some men just think they have the liberty to do whatever they want with female strangers they meet in public. There should be more stringent laws against rape and women in power should continue to push for those laws.I read in the newspaper over the weekend of a housemaid who was repeatedly molested by the son of her madam and even brought friends to have their turn. The madam knew about it.Such things should not happen without consequences.

I support your friend. why should a poor person that can't feed himself talk more of the wife have a child they can cater for all because it seems easy to sleep with each other and make babies. cease to have a child until you are capable of providing them with the basic necessities of life.
Unfortunately, these poor people can't change except through education. It takes 5minutes or even less to make a baby.Sex often is the consolation of the poor. It's the thing that gives them the only pleasure.

It's their right to procreate even though it's not right. The society can only increase awareness through education and improvement on the standard of living.
