mystiqueDZ: An admin fee of 5k?It could go for N10k in some places.I work in a hospital and i know there are charges on medical reports. |
The more they mock, the more the church will grow. 'And I will build My Church and the gates of Hell SHALL not prevail against it'(Matthew 16:18). |
There's nothing wrong with it.It's an administrative fee. |
Get her to the hospital. She could have 'retained products of conception',which might be why she's still bleeding. |

To all those saying what has OJB spent all the money he made on. Please let me make you understand that kidney ailment is a very expensive disease to manage. He was diagnosed with this condition 2yrs ago and he must have been taking expensive medications and paying hospital bills all these while. He obviously would have spent quite a huge sum from his savings.A few years ago,he also had a daughter who had a heart condition(I think)and eventually died.He must have spent quite a lot on health care. I'm not saying he would not have lavished money on d 'jaiye jaiye' lifestyle but this is not the time to start beating him on the ground.Let's try and offer whatever help we can now. |
Baroba: Excess alcohol consumption remains a high risk factor still. Wishing the young man God's mercy at such a difficult time. Renal/ kidney disease aint no joke people. You're right, excessive consumption of alcohol is one of the most common factors. |
cyara: What kind of hair cut is that on OJB ?He needs to cut his hair make better breeze blow him head sef. |
master2: Ur assertion is not entirely true. A lot of factors can case kidney problem -Spot on!There are people who don't drink and still end up with kidney diseases. |
Gboliwe: even the youths are now taking to juju? We are in trouble! The youths are selling themselves to the devil. You'll be amazed at the places they go. |
Do you need a bible verse to know it is not right? |
Weight gain is a very lame excuse for cheating. We all need the right orientation and after marriage there should be a conscious effort to keep your weight in check.Eating right and engaging in physical exercise will go a long way. |
Me I no see any arsenal player o.Na two people I just dey hear dey make noise for here. ....Still not happy with Super Eagles' loss after staying up late to watch the match. ...walks out of this thread. |
It seems her temperament and some other aspects of her character could be an issue so the first step is for her to work on that. There are ladies who have married in their 40s so hope is not lost for her. She has to make herself 'marriageable' however. |
Deeper Life has really changed o and I thank God for them. I was born in this Church. My father was a State Pastor in charge of the then Imo State (consisting of Imo, Abia & parts of Ebonyi). My mom was one Choir girl that time. I'm talking of early 1980s. Kumuyis were very close to us then, maybe 'cos of Popsi's position in the church. When they got married, they were not allowed to take pictures. Momsi told me she wore one skirt and blouse (you know the type that has 'gada' at the loin area...lol). She was not permitted to wear Wedding Gown. She also said Popsi wore just Shirt+Tie, Trouser and Sandals (I think that would considered weird by today's Fashion Standards). He was by policy not allowed to wear Suit (especially since he was the State Pastor). Even his friends were not allowed to take pictures on that wedding day - cos pictures were seen as 'Worldliness' - hahahaha. We had enough money to buy a TV then (even if say na Black+White sef), but we couldnt because of the fear of suspension or even expulsion from the church. It (TV) was usually called "The Devil's Box". Years later after we left Deeper, one day I saw a Suit in my popsi's wardrobe, the first thought I had was that he had backsliden...hahahaha. I am happy to see John Kumuyi's wedding in good colour (we used to be friends as kids - oh those days!). His wedding pictures are a clear departure from the primitive doctrines of the 1980s that we observed with utmost reverence n Deeper Life. even up till now, my momsi no dey perm her hair. She still carry the Deeper Life mentality (even though we left Deeper in 1987). However, one thing is certain about the Kumuyis and Deeper Life. They don't compromise about sin o. If you meddle with sin (no matter how small), they will tell you to your face o - that one I confirm am. If you refuse to repent, mehn, na expulsion o. - no be joke o. That man is truly a man of God. I was a kid then, but I know his strong stance on wrongdoing. Even my Parents dey respect (abi na fear sef) the guy called Kumuyi. The man no be Prosperity Preacher o - unlike some new breed people (I no call anybody name o). .NET
Curious to know why your family left. |
The kind of accident he had and the head trauma he suffered would have given him irreparable brain damage. It's doubtful he will be able to function well as the head of his house not to talk of governor of a state. The honourable thing he should do is resign.Resigning in Nigeria is usually not a norm. #yaraduathings. |
I didn't see him at Tinubu Mama's burial,where was he? |
Mudley313: how else do you think christians have always been able to propagate their message? through fear, falsehood, and made-up stories like the OP; from talking snakes to talking donkeys; man living in a whale for 3 days to all the animal species on earth living in a wooden boat built by a 300 yrs old man...imagine the pic posted by olaadegbu above? i thought witches fly out to their covens spiritually and leave their body in their beds? how come this witch is physical? smh @ this gross abuse of human rights; how come those who actually are destroying this country in REAL LIFE are not treated the same way or even worse? na poor old illiterate woman una power reach...nigeria definitely is still living in the dark ages n it will take a very long time to get outYou're spewing rubbish and showing a lot of ignorance. |

^^^seconded. |
^^^It depends on what you want to study, your area of interest. Your current location might also be important and the usefulness of what you want to study to the current job market. Use google.com to do a search.Type the course u're interested in with online programme in the search bar.I'm sure u'll find something. |
^^^ do the online programme since you've already started a family.Coming back to Nigeria to finish your Unilag programme means you may have to be separated from your family for a long time.I'm not a fan of the husband and wife living apart. |
