Apparently drainages don't yield as much POLITICAL and FINANCIAL reward as bus stops, bus terminals and flyovers.


The rains are almost here, BLOCKED DRAINS are the MAJOR reason for floods.

With the IGR of Lagos over the last 2 decades, Lagos CAN AFFORD a central sewage system. At the very least for Lagos Island and parts of the mainland.

In 2015 the case of many Nigerians was akin to that of a transporter who complained that since they had clear evidence that their Hummer Bus was unreliable and fuel inefficient, they would therefore replace it with a Vanagon!


The Hummer Bus was proven to be unreliable and fuel inefficient and largely unfit for purpose even though it actually carried out its most basic duties.

This still stands.


The difference is that WE MUST NOT be deceived into replacing the Vanagon with a wheelbarrow with alloy wheels.

Individuals can be sued in their personal capacity for any of the three infractions above (in line with the provisions of the Public Officers Protection Act) the caveat though is that Statute of Limitation is 3 Months!!
