I see..... ![]() Meanwhile this was Fashola years ago with his 'there is no low cost cement or iron rod' line. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/05/building-low-cost-houses-fashola/ I'm glad he seems to have moved on from that 'the people who elected me are not low cost' stance... However, Minister Fashola has been faffing around for the last three years...

. Interestingly, a similar scenario years back is cited today as case law with respect to the liabilities of public officers.... The provisions in the Public Officers Protection Act (POPA) allowed the judges to determine in one case that the matter was filed out of time (statute of limitation is 3 months) in one case and in another that the teacher was acting within his official jurisdiction. The crux of the matter is something more salient and affects our lives in all ramifications. Should public officials acting under their own whims and caprices be able to hide under the law by claiming to act vicariously under authority of their employer (ie the government ie us the citizens for whom the government acts)? Many people working in government commit untold atrocities! And then hide behind the office to escape justice. However unknown to Nigerians these people can be sued in their INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY! This means that as long as the case is presented competently and in time, justice should be had. When they know that they can no longer hide, they will be forced to behave themselves. . |

. Slums: Some Definitions UN-HABITAT defines a slum household as a group of individuals living under the same roof in an urban area who lack one or more of the following: 1. Durable housing of a permanent nature that protects against extreme climate conditions. 2. Sufficient living space which means not more than three people sharing the same room. 3. Easy access to safe water in sufficient amounts at an affordable price. 4. Access to adequate sanitation in the form of a private or public toilet shared by a reasonable number of people. 5. Security of tenure that prevents forced evictions. . Really.... How come the 'Honourable' Minister of finance was bashing multinationals for not funding a proposed Coal Plant? The Minster of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun’s recent observation on an ancient source of power – coal-fired energy, in Washington, D.C., the United State’s capital deserves some close scrutiny at this juncture when the dust on climate change controversy has not settled. This was after Buhari had signed oh! Minister Fashola was busy spewing the same 'since they've polluted the world we can too... Abi na only she and Fashola waka come? She send herself d message? As someone says - dis one na HEAVY MR BEAN GOVERMENT! .
