I agree to an extent that colonial masters did not force their religion on their colonies. However, there was subtle sense of enforcement in Christianity andIslam, even up till date.

The error you are making is thinking Christianity is white man religion. It's not. It is in fact a universal religion or awakening. In fact it was originated in Africa by ancient blacks in ancient Egypt, and it is an upgrade of our own African traditions. The only difference is that Jesus, Joshua, Yeshua or whatever version you wish to call Him manifested. As a matter of fact, Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus aren't white. Even our African traditions speak of a saviour. In Igbo He is called our 'Chi' and we refer to His father as Chiukwu (spelt as Chukwu). The whites were only instruments of preserving the history.
