Politics › Re: Kamala Harris Hosts Osinbajo Inside Her Ceremonial Office by Throwback: 1:36pm On Sep 03, 2022
omenka:
Star Boy. We love you sir. smiley

Isn't it funny the same people that hated Osinbajo with raw passion, directed all their bile at him in advance, thinking he'd be the party's flag bearer, trying to murder his ambition even before it was conceived, calling him a "fake pastor", and a "condolence visit VP", suddenly became his fans after he couldn't clinch the party's ticket?

The same people that attack Tinubu for "trying to distance himself from Buhari's administration", a man that holds or held no position in the present government, are saying "APC missed a chance not to have presented Osinbajo"!!

Wouldn't they have skinned Osinbajo alive if he had clinched the ticket? Imagine what their narative would have been out there today regarding his candidacy!!!

The truth is, it hurts them deeply their work was/has been made alot more difficult with the emergence of Jagaban. They can see the handwriting on the wall, but are too proud to concede the inevitable. cool
You gave said it all.

Had Osinbajo won the APC primaries, they would have heaped all blames on him and said Tinubu would have been a stronger candidate because he was not in the Buhari government.

You gave exactly the response I expected from you. That gave you away as too young and inexperienced to comment on these matters.

Certainly you are not Lagos state? There are too many of your likes who form “I am a Lagos Islander”.
Next you will say I am from Isale Eko, as that is all that you all know. If I say, without conceding, that you are from Lagos state, then you have not for any reason ventured out from your immediate environment. It is a difficult problem for your likes, who think that life begins and ends in your immediate environment. If we ask you how Tinubu’s leadership impacted your life, you will have nothing to say, except to tell us about the experiences of others.

“If Ngige could achieve the infrastructural growth and IGR growth from N50m to N450m under 3yrs of rule, Obi should be ashamed that he was crawling from N45m to under N750m with full 8yrs”.

Were you there? Have you ever been to Anambra state? If you do not have a physical experience of the different periods of government in Anambra state, please do not talk out of ignorance any further.
When you want to quote and make assumptions do so knowing the dramatis personae.

I have given personal experiences on this forum on how Tinubu's policies affected me positively.

I already told you I'm from Lagos Island yet you are still talking about my possible further claim to Isale Eko.

What is Lagos Island and what is Isale Eko?

FYI, Lagos is Eko and Lagos Island alone is Isale Eko.

It is funny how a foreigner begin to question the validity of the claims made by an indigene.

Do I need to be in Anambra to know the data of their IGR records and compare that element between Ngige and Obi?

Do I need to be there to know how many Igbos and Anambrarians complained about Obi's performance and style of governance back when nobody knew he would one day contest for the Presidency?

INEC will display a list that has the below.

The Contenders and the Pretenders.

The grassroots politicians and the green snake in the green grass.

The party builders and the ticket hunters who do not know their party's manifesto.

The steadfast political ideologues and the desperate political prostitutes.

We Nigerian youths would vote wisely for leader whose words mean something and whose initiatives would grow our economy and provide opportunities for all regardless of tribe or religion.

Citizen Participation?

Coming from a former Governor that refused to organise local government elections in Anambra until he was set to depart after 8yrs.

We need to breathe fresh air please
What did he do about those suffering in Anambra when he was Governor.

What lasting economic legacy did he imprint on the state like Tinubu did in Lagos with many projects initiated that keep reaping fruits till today?

Charity begins at home.

Obi is the best in his village not the best among brilliant minds and economic technocrats and gurus like Tinubu.

Get sense small Mr. Parrot. Pra pra pra pra pra.

Certainly you are also not from Lagos state just like the Anambra people that you quoted.

And you were not told that Lagos was the administrative and commercial capital of Nigeria from independence. You were not told that not just Anambra people, other Nigerian citizens from other states migrated to Lagos in its capacity as the federal capital to work and live. You were not told that everyone of those contributed and continue to contribute to the growth of Lagos where the reside and work. Surely you have not ventured beyond Lagos to see how it is in other states, otherwise your opinion about your personal Lagos will not remain the same.

“ Anambra graduates troop to Lagos to find jobs in an infrastructure driven economy, while Anambra with savings is still not topic economy in Africa”.

Very childish with no sense. While you choose to be transfixed in your illusionary Lagos, others venture away from their comfort zones to other states and nations to enjoy themselves. As you cannot leave your small room and parlor with a tiny window, who told you the Nigerians from the SW have not migrated to the SE in search of better lives? Please stop displaying this level of ignorance.

“Tinubu laboured..”. So what did the other governors in Lagos before him do? Dance and smile?

Wake up and look at your political leaders with clearer eyes. Do not vote on the basis of sentiments or tribe, if you want one single/indivisible Nigeria. You cannot have a SW candidate who campaigns in the SW and north, ignoring the SE/SS and expect him to be called the president of Nigeria and vice versa.
I am a Lagos Islander. My family house still stands there in its full glory.

I love how you indicted Obi.

We know Ngige's start point and we know his end point. We also know Tinubu's start point and end point.

Same goes for Obi.

If Ngige could achieve the infrastructural growth and IGR growth from N50m to N450m under 3yrs of rule, Obi should be ashamed that he was crawling from N45m to under N750m with full 8yrs.

I reckon because Ngige had put in the hard work, Obi chose to dance and smile while he saved the 2 Talents to return it to the master in the same value as he had been given?

Peter Obi is mediocre at best.

“Nigerians have seen how ungrateful some of you can be, and that’s why Nigerians also want to be careful, if we give these people power, are you sure they will also be grateful to Nigerians
What has been stated above reminds me of a certain desperate politician that is not honest and has no integrity.

Very ungrateful fellow he turned out to be.

We Nigerian youths will avoid his last chance because we know it is a dangerous one chance.

ObaOfYorubaLand:
He lost already, you want the man to labour invain like Tinubu?
When Tinubu laboured, Lagos monthly IGR grew from N600m to N7b within his 8yrs. When Peter Obi laboured, Anambra monthly IGR that Ngige grew from N50m to N450m under 3yrs, only grew from N450m to less than N700m in 8yrs.

Lagos monthly IGR has since grown to over N45b.

Tinubu laboured to compete with other African countries and Lagos economy is now top5 among African countries, while Anambra IGR was worse than Kogi State under Peter Obi.

Anambra graduates troop to Lagos to find jobs in an infrastructure driven economy, while Anambra with savings is still not topic economy in Africa.

So who exactly laboured in vain?
