A bundle of talent. His music will live longer than the music of many who currently consider themselves the top dogs of the Nigerian music industry. |
Asgard73:This one needs to be rehabilitated. He is one of those who would kill his parents for questioning or disregarding the directives of the supreme leader who is now begging for his human rights. |
God help the moderate "Hutus" in Kanu's Biafra. A deranged narcissistic human who has self imposed himself as leader without democratic franchise, wants to be accorded all manner of human rights, but himself does not regard the rights of others not to accept his forced leadership. He says he's not a terrorist, yet he employs terror to enforce loyalty and obedience, and does not provide fair hearing to others before meting out the punishment he has determined all by himself. A time will come when the people would become too scared to dare request to be saved from the terror of he who wants to enjoy human rights. |
AlphaSoul:PDP are sinners while APC are not saints. |
vasel15:Did the Army ever make any claim that it wanted to arrest Kanu? The Army simply pursued its attackers to the very source of the attack. It is a response that need not be mandated by the court. Also, must every arrest emanate from a Judge? Did a Judge order his maiden arrest at the hotel in Lagos before he was presented in court? Must a Judge mandate his arrest for criminally setting up a security outfit? If he was fingered in any crime while on bail for another matter, must the security services wait for a court order to effect the arrest for that new offence? |
vasel15:You mean that an Army that was clearly attacked by videos provided by IPOB members, need to wait for a Judge to respond to the attackers and to engage the attackers from where they staged the attacks? Was the army operation in the region not already declared publicly and in response to the criminally established BSS that an accused released under bail still set up? Does the army leadership need the approval of a Judge to dismantle and prevent the operations of a criminally set up BSS? Why was the patrolling Army on lawful duty attacked and bloodied by "innocent" IPOB members? |
unohbethel:Was the army not already on a publicised and lawful mission within the region, occasioned by the accused who while on bail still set up an unconstitutional security agency called BSS. Did IPOB members not regale us with pictures and videos of how they attacked the army that was peacefully patrolling? Had the accused while still on bail not promised that any military that come into the region will not depart alive? What response did you expect from the Army whose soldiers were attacked while peacefully patrolling with their arsenal? Why are you dead to the atrocities of the terrorist group that is provoking violence and usurping power without any constitutional backing? |
vasel15:You mean the unarmed people who had previously released pictures and videos of how they attacked the Army that was patrolling nearby? You mean the unarmed people who were under oath to burn down Nigeria if the same lawful court that granted bail saw it fit to remand the accused who could not abide by his bail terms? No one associated with a terrorist group is innocent. |
vasel15:So basically, you ask a question but you already know all the answers, as such anything contrary is not welcome? Typical of Nnamdi Kanu type of democracy for Biafra. Terrorism/Dictatorship is the democracy IPOB will allow. |
You start off by addressing everyone as fools? That you are fighting for secession doesn't have to make you uncouth and mannerless, but why would anyone expect better from a pupil when the teacher is no better? The relevant questions to ask are: 1. Why would an accused who is out on bail break the rules of his bail by being in the company of more than 10people? 2. Why would an individual who is out on bail for treason proceed to set up a BSS that he is not constitutionally allowed to do? 3. Why would an accused who had been flagrantly abusing the conditions set for his bail, command his supporters that if he is arrested upon his return to court in Abuja, they should ensure by sworn oath to his command to burn down the country? 4. Why would an accused promise his supporters that when he goes to Abuja for his next court appointment, he will return with the head of Buhari? 5. Why would the Nigerian Army not effect a security operation in the same area the accused had criminally established the BSS, with a mission to dismantle such criminal organisation? Did the accused not also promise then that any military found in the area would not depart alive? 6. Why would the supporters of the accused engage the Nigerian Army on lawful duty, who were peacefully patrolling the area of the accused, and same supporters provided the pictures and videos of their successful attack on the military and gloated all over social media? 7. Did you then expect the Nigerian military not to return the next day, fully prepared now knowing the terrorists they were dealing with? Can you provide a civilised response to any of the factual points I have tabled? Whoever wants Biafra or any other secession from Nigeria, can only do so with the constitutional authority that is confered by democratic representation. If you do not hold political authority to make demands on behalf of anyone, then you are just a social organisation, and your leadership is a leadership of just that organisation's members. So as I always ask, if Nnamdi Kanu is not constitutionally recognised as a political leader of the people he claims to represent, seeing that they already have democratic and political representation, must he force himself on the people and does he not know the democratic route to attain constitutional leadership? And if IPOB as a social organisation cannot lobby the politicians from that region to buy into the secession goals of IPOB, must IPOB insist it must have its way and by what authority? No recent breakaway state of any former country or ongoing secession attempts all over the world is being led by a social organisation outside of the political leadership of the constitutional representatives of the people of that region, except of course IPOB. |
Wow! She is proof that any insignificant act now can be a pedestal to greatness. |
You mean, your Igbo family are not Christians but still traditionalists to bother about something called Osu? |
So it is no longer Trump and Putin again, now any irrelevant congress man in America will put an end to Nigeria? This IPOB level of idiocy is even lower than an aboki level of intelligence. Yes Nigeria is a shithole made so by the leaders and followers, but being excited over some comments or opinion of an insignificant few congressmen, when even the opinion of the American Congress Speaker concerning Nigeria is irrelevant to Nigeria. Wake me up when the US President is discussing Nigeria with his military team at the Pentagon or CentCom. |
PoloG:Abeg don't mention Oshodi bus terminal. Our Igbo brothers will copy it as a catchup and come and gloat over it. Let them continue to rejoice over a cargo airport in year 2021 as though it was year 1921. |
I actually like that the police are scared. I love this. Every wild animal can be tamed. |
The ultimate question is why must Igbos always seek validation from Yorubas? Why must every achievement in Igboland (which is mostly a catchup) become a means to compare themselves to Yorubas? Is it that Yorubas are the standard set by the Igbos to validate their success? Why don't Igbos compare themselves to Ijaws or Hausa or Benin or Igala or Fulani? Igbos Ignore all other tribes in Nigeria and come looking for validation with Yorubas. The implied reason is very simple. Yorubas are the standard the Igbos want to catchup and surpass. They acknowledge Yoruba greatness inadvertently. Why must Igbos compare themselves to a Yoruba standard while Yorubas continue the track record of many African firsts? Inferiority Complex! |
esnbrutality:When you catchup on that score, come and gloat here as usual, and I will be here to remind you it is a catchup achievement. |
I believe you empty to remember that the owner of Zinox is Igbo man his gadgets are leading indigenous products in Nigeria started before nonsense Opoimo that vanished with Argbosola after his administration ended.
Very soon you will lament that Osun state that pioneered tablet devices for Public Education in the whole of Nigeria, should have bought the tablets from Zinox. Yes, Zinox is a leader at indigenous Computer products and was heavily supported and patronized by the Government of Olusegun Obasanjo, a Yoruba man. |
esnbrutality:My joy is that you will many years later do similar project in Igboland public schools and it will be celebrated as a catch-up achievement to the pace already set by Yorubas. It is our destiny to be pace setters, it is your destiny to catchup and gloat over playing 2nd fiddle. |
Factshunter:Guy this is Anambra village standard. You don't give cavemen more than what they deserve. When an Igboman decides on a Sunday afternoon to gloat over a cargo airport, then you realise the inferiority complex at play and the agony of not having an airport all the while. |
ThEGodFaThEr104:What a shame to always wait for Yorubas to achieve novel feats for you to copy. While Yorubas set African standards, Igbos are content to wait and copy. I am ashamed for you. Continue replying me so I can continue to expose your inferiority with your own words. Catchup Igbos! |
esnbrutality:The funny thing is the Opon Imo was a novel achievement typical of Yorubas as pace-setters that you will one day catch-up to, which is typical of Igbos accursed to copy-catchup. You will then celebrate it as an achievement when others have moved on to better things for you to catch-up again. What a sad cycle to celebrate. |
esnbrutality:What is the nonsense being justified? That there are unfinished projects allover Nigeria, or that a village tribe is celebrating an airport as a catchup achievement? You are really cavemen. |
ThEGodFaThEr104:Catchup Igbo! When will you ever boast of something that is not a catchup achievement? Since the days of China Achebe, Igbos have been catching up to the Yorubas. What a shame to celebrate. |
Xhuntra:I always feel your pain over Lagos. Sad and envious Igboman from a village, playing catchup as usual. When you have something novel and not a catchup achievement, then you can gloat without your current agony. |
Xhuntra:Igboman I feel your pain. If your grandparents never saw airport in their lifetime, at least you their grandchild now have the achievement of seeing one. Enjoy the thrill of a latecomer. |
iammo:They are indeed villagers always catching up. |
It seems airport is the solution to all the problems of the Igbos, hence the fixation? What is viable about an airport in Ogun to begin with, being only minutes away from Ikeja by road? |
Kingzy4real:Heed the advice below. You will only lose supporters rather than gain any when you make ridiculous claims. chubinwa: |
Barrack training for Northern youths? When did the military recruit them for training? I think it is time Nigerians get to know what happens inside our military barracks and if they serve a national purpose or a sectional purpose. |
geemd434:You don't understand the political undertone of the statement. You are focused on the physical appearance of a fear "that my job is only secure when I please the Fulani government". I am sure Emefiele even speaks Hausa fluently now and might be contemplating learning Fulani already. |
Racoon:Dude you are more intelligent than this. RUGA was not a direct quote from Garba Shehu, even if the news report concluded that it was part of the National Programs Garba Shehu referred to. That is how headlines are sold. As for Garba Shehu, he is still towing the line of the Presidency that it is the indigenous people of Nigeria that must make concessions for nomadic Fulani herdmen terrorists from "Libya". |
