Gbogbowa:Was Abacha a democratic and legitimate regime? Is the Tinubu democratic regime assassinating anyone or arresting anyone for not supporting the government? So why lie that he opposed Abacha because Nigerians were dieing of hunger? You are the trbalist and fascist here. It is not by force for all Nigerians to support the presidential candidate you supported. |
Beremx:You are right, as many in Africa got it for Peace before he got it for Literature. But he is the 1st African to get it in an Academic field. The 2nd black person in the whole world to get a Nobel prize in an academic field after the American Economist who got it for Economics. The first black person to get it for Literature. |
Well deserved recognition. |
Realtord43:You mean Buhari that removed fuel subsidy but programmed the implementation to occur 1month after he exits from office? |
Tinubuofemmanu:See as Reno don torment this Obidient. Chai! Just because he is shedding light on Peter Obi, you want him to be lynched? But you do not mind making all manner of allegations against Peter Obi's opponents and poking fun at them? You do not deserve lynching since your actions are not against the most holy saint Obi? Is this the fascist cult of Peter Obi that would have overturn our democracy?
|
Babzrockman:They are very shameless. |
You mean Peter Obi finally conducted elections when it remained 2months to exit his 8year tenure? When he already had an elected successor (Obiano) waiting to be sworn in as Governor? Peter Obi is a bloody charlatan. |
Good decision |
PDPdestroyer:Considering his current romance with the North, I won't be surprised if he feigns ignorance of this news report. |
hedonido:This one is still bitter that the candidate he supported was defeated. |
sleek214:We must all key in for the benefit of the people. |
Would it not have been a better injection into the Nigerian economy, if those given the paltry sum of N50k as business grants, were actually given N500k with money used to subsidise pilgrimage? Pilgrimage is a personal desire. A law must be passed to stop all states and federal government from spending public funds on any sort of pilgrimage financing. |
Yet cannot pay a livable minimum wage? What is the benefit of the hajj and any other pilgrimage to the economy of Nigeria? When will our leaders learn that we are not a rich country that can afford all of these wastes? I know the hypocrite who purchased over 450 SUVs for traditional leaders in Anambra, will also come out to complain about waste, as if he is not one and same with the wasteful political leadership of this country. |
Fujiyama:At the exchange rate that is prevailing in the banking system. |
Dedeity:In this regard, I agree the Tinubu government is not serious. |
jmoore:If you are educated and exposed, you will realise that economic security and stability is a component of National Security. Go watch the movie, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, so you can learn about economic security as, part of the larger National Security. Guy, even Food Security is part of National Security. Which is why Ribadu with his EFCC background is the right fit for the NSA role in these times of economic sabotage. Do you know that in the USA, the office of the National Security Adviser is closely monitoring the Americans stock exchanges?

Lizzysamuel:What is Nigerias business with which other currencies are traded? Our concern is the currency pair that includes the Naira, so that traders stop speculating with the value of the Naira. |
emkz:Please loud it for Cardi B before he loses his place to Doja Cat. |
Lizzysamuel:Is it not existing systems that are later exploited for the gain of some over the stability that benefits all? The problem with Nigerians like yourself is the belief that it is your right to have access to things that ultimately sabotage the economy of your country. |
Do whatever need to be done to reclaim control. Pay no head to enemies of the state shedding crocodile tears. For the good of the commonwealth is better than the good of 1. It is the ban on domiciliary accounts and any form of currency exchange outside of the banking system that I am looking forward to. It is not a must to have a forex domiciliary account to receive international remittances. You receive it into your local account as incoming credit that you can choose to leave as it is for future international transfers within a define period before taxes begin to apply, or further process it into the local bank balance as the Naira equivalent. With this system, no local remittance of forex can be allowed into the banking system. This automatically kills all forms of buying and selling and hoarding of forex that is locally sourced. |
Banters aside, what are the state government agencies doing to prevent the illegal sales and encroachment? Is it only years after the landed property has passed from one hand to another, then they suddenly become awake to their responsibilities? Or they only come alive when the state government is ready to use such land or restore the town planning master plan? It is a known fact that those civil servants who work with the respective states ministry or agency related to Lands or Town Planning, secure all the useful lands for themselves and their cronies? The stench and corruption in those places, will make God show mercy to Sodom and Gomorrah. |
Hahahahaha! We don drag the tribal bigot like expired Tiger generator. She don comport herself and now using her logic instead of tribal emotions. |
Let that same pen sign off on great policies that will be the legacy of the Sanwo-Olu administration. |
seunmsg:More like this implementation is not sustainable. Akin to a politician donating a 19th century borehole in the 21st century. It is either the policy advisers are not better exposed to think better, or we do not yet have the financial framework and infrastructures to implement such a system, so we are only trying to force it through. There is time to do it well, no need to rush and fail. |
I'm not particularly impressed with the guidelines for how this credit scheme will operate. The relevant government institutions including the CBN, should simply work out a system where sellers and buyers of goods and services, do not need to pay fully upfront before a transaction/exchange can be completed. And the instrument for such transaction is a credit card. So this should start with salary earners. The banks should start issuing credit cards and allow for either one time credit payment at the point of sale which the card holder then offset his accrued invoices at a specified date of every month, or structured monthly payments that is configured at the 1st point sale which the card holder then offset that monthly partial invoice at the specified date every month. Any other system is just unnessary inefficiency. |
Keep raiding, but prosecute and jail also. Only foolish countries allow their citizens to hold a forex bank account within the local banking system, not to talk of allowing markets for forex trading in every nook and cranny of the country as though it is a food store. What will it cost the government to shut down domiciliary bank accounts and any form of forex exchange outside of the banks and airports? |
When your type were saying Tinubu must run and be disgraced, you think say the biggest political wizard of our time will not win his election? |
Goodvibes007:When we said Obi is a desperate fellow, they said we are talking nonsense. Even Obi dey wonder how he managed to get a lot of foolish people to his bandwagon. |
SoNature:Hahahahaha! Una don dey humble ooo |
LOVEALAIGBO:Then you mean Obi was not pragmatic when he made that assertion previously? So Obi needs the structures of criminality to succeed? What am I even saying? Was he not begging Wike for such criminal structures? |
Reno has already advised both Atiku and his boy, Obi. Political prostitutes eventually become perennial losing candidates. Atiku and Obi political body count just dey grow without achieving the most sought after job that Tinubu landed on his very first attempt. |
