This is my personal opinion and I may possibly be wrong but I arrived at this conclusion because of the events and the obvious crisis in APC. APC was the amalgamation of smaller regional parties (CPC, ACN, ANPP, part of APGA and New PDP). Many of these parties have their loyal members who respect their local part leaders who were used to imposing candidates on their parties eg Tinubu in ACN, Buhari in CPC, Atiku/Saraki in New PDP and Okorocha in APGA. Permit me to skip all that happened before, during and after the merger, registration, (s)election of their party leaders and candidates. You will agree with me that it was not easy, some even thought APC will die then but they patched it, swept the crisis under the carpet and postponed the 'evil day'. The same reasons that caused the delay or led to the crisis in APC during the s(election) of National Assembly leadership is what is causing the delay in the appointment of Ministers and other critical appointments in my opinion. You will recall that APC conducted a mock election among themselves to elect the leadership of the Nass and yet they could not in one voice agree on sets of leaders. They are yet to recover. Even the appointment of other Nass leaders is tearing them more and more. Assuming the appointment of NASS leadership is only an ACN affairs, we may not have the Senate president and House Speaker by now. They will keep postponing and deceiving us with one reason or the other. Even on the inauguration day, about 51 APC senators-elect were absent to attend an unscheduled meeting with a president who was to inaugurate the Assembly. The reasons for the meeting? To agree on who to lead the NASS assembly on the inauguration morning. Very funny and very childish. Up till now, we do not have the Secretary to the Federal Government, Chief of Staff. We have heard of different possible names from Onu, Amaechi, Fayemi etc, still Buhari could not make up his mind almost a month after inauguration. The only people he could exclusively appoint are his advisers which may not need any party inputs. The same thing is playing out on who becomes Minister and what portfolio to assign to who. Like I said in one of my posts here, APC is the congregation of rebels and power thirsty individuals who are not ready to submit or obey any superior authority (Atiku vs OBJ, Saraki vs his father, Tinubu almighty power of imposition in Southwest APC, Okorocha betrayer of APGA, Amaechi disrespecter of PDP that made him etc). I know you are not expecting smooth sail of a plane/ship where you have too many powerful, greedy, ambitious and experienced pilots or sailors. If we want ministers and critical appointments to be made, we may need to wait more and more until these men could swallow their ego and allow president Buhari to make or choose his team. But we warned him not to align with these men. I am responsible for my opinions. Bar 24/06/15. |
We said it that Oyegun was just used to secure APC victory as a Christian. The next person to be asked to resign is VP Osinbajo, heard he had long written his resignation letter. We said it, APC is bringing out the Saints in PDP. |
When Hon Gbajabiamila was leading other honorable members especially from the Southwest against Hon. Mulikat Akande in the last house, he was happy and catching his fun. He forgot that what goes around comes around. Whatever a man sows he reaps. This is a lesson for all. |

[ author=dapyd1 post=34321466]What's all these. Amaechi has a point about the bedroom case and I don't think he will steal spoons in the kitchen But Wike, you are the C in C now. If you have any issues with anybody with substantial evidence, report to the appropriate quarters for investigation and interrogation. Stop all these babbling between two men on who took the kitchen table knife or cover cloth on the bed.
At bolded: Don't forget they were friends before the relationship went sour. Wike might have entered his bedroom before and more so, you don't need to have entered a place before you know it is vandalised. If you remove the plasma or Led or 3d TV from the wall of any house, the mark will always be there or remove mattress from bed etc. It may not be Amaechi that looted but his body language may encourage his servants to steal. |
NumberOne2:Wish I could my brother... But who am? I am not one his sheeps in his first pastoral call. |
If I were Wike, I will wait for the expiration of the current house before appointing the CJ and opening of the House Assembly and courts. Don't be surprised if Ameachi moved his outgoing house members to serve him impeachment notice. With Amaechi any fraud could happen. |
Just asking. Since professor Yemi Osinbajo was called as a pastor, what happens to his divine call now as a Vice President? |
Lanretoye:We are on the same page on this. Nobody is against sanitation because it is for our general good but the ruling of the court was that you do not need to restrict people's movement to achieve that. This is democracy no more rule by force. |
Good! Hope my tenants I proposed to meet at 7am on Saturday will not run away because of this development. In March no restrictions (election), Last month there was no restrictions (common entrance exams) and this month again, no restrictions, Next month will be for the celebration of Ambode 30 days in office. Lagos don dey take style style obey the judgement that barred them from restricting movement during sanitation. Edited One Tenant called some minutes ago requesting to be excused from the meeting that she just remembered that they are going to have "elders meeting" in their church and will be back on Saturday evening. See wetin Fash don cause for me now. |
Contact your rewire guy, it is a simple problem. Had it on mine too but my guy fixed it before it locked me out. |
A friend sent this to me, guess it might make sense to you too if you have not seen it before now.

In my opinion, Jonathan government is giving SA some sleepless night and some embarrassment with the following within GEJ tenure. SA used to be the largest economy in Africa but now, they are no more. Nigeria is now have the largest economy in Africa plus our age long title of Giant of Africa. Remember also how GEJ Government treated them during the Airport yellow card thing.... I read somewhere where SA citizens were insulting their government for the take over of the economy from them. Practically, Nigeria is the real big brother. |
wordsmith247:If you are in Lagos, go to Ladipo, it is possible. The camera is 3k and you may even install inner rear mirror (9k) even if your car does not have any display screen.

I thought I was the person that wrote this until I realised that I had not got the time to pen down my experience with Dsthief. The write captured exactly what I experienced about the same time. How I wish our government could do something about it. I heard the reasons for tariff increase and inability to introduce pay per view is bc of power problem, then I asked, do we have power too as subscribers to enjoy the service? |
Just observing and reflecting on all the pictures/ video of politicians shown to us at their polling units are usually the politicians and their wives. I have not seen any of them with their children on the queue at the polling centres, not even GMB's tweeting daughter. Please be wise. |
When we said soldiers should be around to guide our votes many said it was PDP's plan to use soldiers to rig referring to the so called Ekiti tape. Nothing like this when Soldiers were used in Edo, Osun and Ekiti. Apc protested, rushed to court, got an injunction/ judgement to ban soldiers. The result is what we see today happening in all the states where it is obvious APC is weak and not yet fully on ground, like Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Imo and Edo. |
Guess we can now understand why they rushed to court to ban soldiers from our election processes. |
rileyy:Are you married with kids ma/sir? If not, don't comment yet until you understand what I am talking about.

The last time I checked, Agbaje is a Yoruba man why making it to look like he is an Igbo man. APC government knew they did not treat the Ibos well in Lagos with their policies, guess that was why they are threatened by their numbers. Lesson: Don't damage the ladder when going up because you may need it when coming down.

Rochas, Amaechi and Oshiomole are all screaming the same thing because they know they are loosing it. Anybody that do not do their bidding is compromised and when election is not in their favor, it is rigged but when they win, it is victory for democracy.

It is well. Many blaming the parents for leaving their children with complete stranger may not understand what working parents are passing through. Our maid left about three days ago, I know what I am facing as a father to care for the kids with my work, now they are on holiday. I could do that because I am my own boss unlike my wife who must leave house daily by 6am. With desperation, you may even leave your kids with the devil and risk/wish they are safe.

Alcatraz001:Bros what do they call the traditional ruler of Ilorin? Oba or Emir? Hausa defeated the Yoruba and installed an Emir till date. When Awujale talked against GEJ that Oba don't campaign for politicians, you all supported him. See how many people hypocritically switched now when this Oba statement is in their favor. If APC had treated Igbos well, they won't need all these threats. |
dammytosh:....And he rigged the Presidential too in Ekiti state? |
Go to the nearest law firm, the reason lawyer go to work daily. |
I agreed with you OP. Religion too is a factor, many of my Muslim friends supported Buhari religiously while some church people too thump printed for GEJ. Assuming the SS & SE people were not intimidated out of the North because of fear of violence and many SS & SE people came out en-mass and ethnically to vote like the North, GEJ could have won the election. It is not Buhari that won the election, religion and ethnicity did. |
If Buhari is disqualified, the Second runner-up (GEJ) is sworn in not Osinbajo because Osibanjo got his VP ticket from Buhari candidacy. |
Even when OBJ was the president, he has never delivered his polling Unit for PDP much more he is out of PDP |
In my unit APC 72 PDP 73 Code 24-18-02-036 Oshodi / Isolo Lagos |
alexdellafonte:The strategy is simple, scare them away from the North, keep them indoor in their eastern states. You can predict the winner. Like Gej said, some people started campaigning for 2015 election since 2011. |
