Leyqute: In the last game we were not allowed to play out from the back. So’ton will probably try the same thing.
They coming out should make things easier because they’ll leave lots of space for our attackers to exploit but it depends on how we setup.
Hoping Ole gets it right. That is the beauty of this team. Our last match, both goals we scored from open play were shot from distance. So it won't matter if those guys pack bus or come out |

eph12: Pogba was playing in a deeper role and not that he was losing the ball trying to find a clean pass to unlock the defense, but he was losing the ball trying to dribble. Doesn't look the same to me
In City, their off the ball movement is very great, everyone is moving around and opening for passes in advanced positions. KDB isn't that great in his national team. In the last world cup, he wasn't that successful with his passes and many judged him to be a shadow of his real sef. You can check Belgium stats for his pass success rate and compare it to his fellow midfielders or even attackers in the last world cup Let me also add that Bruno's forward passes will get more accurate overtime because the more they play together, the more the forward players will begin to understand him by making more runs and movement whenever he has the ball to open more space for his passes and anticipate it. Like you said before, people where angry with pogba before because he was loosing the ball in our own area by dribbling unnecessary in that position which is dangerous, good thing that he has limited it now |

eph12: Since Pogba came back, Bruno has put our strikers clear on goal at least three times. They have either fluffed their lines or been brought down by the defenders, denying him of clean assists. This is what we expect from him, to create clean chances for our strikers. Maybe he should try passing the ball backwards more so that we won't accuse him of losing the ball again. Even the pass Rashford gave Martial for his 3rd goal or so came from Bruno's awareness of the game and Rashford was where he was supposed to be. Let's rest abeg The reason Bruno has a record for loosing a lot of possession is because of his adventurous nature when passing. He likes to pass forward 90% of the time, trying to create chances, so it's expected . The good thing about him is that he doesn't loose it in our own danger areas that his why that part of the stats don't result in fatal consequences for us |

elampiro: How does this connect with the argument about Tottenham vs United?
Today's game is a different thing, same with Spurs Westham when Mourinho dominated possession in a different tactics.
In the time of Nigeria quest for world cup qualification and Tunidia 1994, Ivory Coast had the best midfield build up play in Africa. What Westerhof did was to wait for them at the back, then we we had the ball, we send a long pass to the strikers cutting off the midfield we were inferior.
Another tactics was Ferguson chocking the midfield against Arsenal and thereby preventing their build up play. So we hit them mostly on the counter.
These are tactics that not everyone can understand
It seems you don't get what they are trying to say, or may be you are one of those that are too stubborn to accept a superior argument. In case the former is the case, let me educate you again. In our match against Tottenham, mourinho tactics of packing the bus didn't work because despite playing low block against us, we were still cutting them open at the back at will, recording a high shot on target, but our strikers weren't clinical enough. In summary, we didn't win the match not because of mourinho tactics,( because from the stats and me watching the game, that tactics didn't work) but because our strikers were not clinical on the day. |

pamcode: Oga Elamps. It was a poor first touch from Rashford and he showed his rustiness. A fitter and sharp Rashford will control the ball better and would be at top speed. Exactly. The guy was off yesterday. The rashford we all know from the beginning of the season would have done better with that pass. He has received tonnes of those kinds of passes this season, and has done well with them. Even if he didn't score, they always result to at least a shot on target |

ChrisKels: Six Midfield players ready to hit the headlines
°Ovie Ejaria (Reading): Ovie is the next player expected to get a call up to the Super Eagles. Having switched allegiance from England to Nigeria, the Under 20 world cup winner has been lighting up the English Championship. He is signed to Liverpool but with Reading on loan
°James Igbekeme (Real Zaragoza): James will most likely be playing in La Liga next season as his club are currently 2nd in La Liga 2 and in the automatic promotion places. He was a former team mate of Oghenekaro Etebo at Warri Wolves. The promotion to La Liga will most likely raise his profile next season, fingers crossed.
°Frank Onyeka (Midjylland): Frank's rise in fortune coincided with Paul Onuachu's move from the club to Belgium. Both moved to Mitdjylland from FC Ebedei and Frank is now bossing the park in Denmark. He is a move away from hitting the headlines. A move in 2021 will see him hit the headlines.
°Kelechi Nwakali (Huesca): Kelechi has had a forgettable 2019 and by yesterday had endured 15 months of no club football. He came on for Huesca yesterday for 13 minutes and gave a good account of himself. This followed on from appearing on the bench in the game before. Kelechi has an outside chance of promotion to La Liga as the club is currently 4th in La Liga 2 and will compete with 4 other clubs for the final promotion spot. Whatever happens, promotion or not, it looks like Kelechi is finally back
°Alhassan Yusuf (Gottenburg): Yusuf is getting rave reviews in Sweden and is being touted as a transfer target for a lot of clubs across Europe. This summer will be interesting when the transfer market opens
Obinna Nwobodo (Ujpest): Obinna has now outgrown Hungary and a move to mainstream Europe beckons. The 2015 Under 20 Nigeria midfielder is ripe for a move and to showcase his skills on a larger stage.
Otite Dafe They just had to sneak in Nwakali as if we won't notice A lot of you guys that are blowing his trumpet are actually not helping him. Instead of you to take the spotlight away from him and allow him to develop himself to come back better, instead you start to writing articles upon articles for someone that hasn't done shit as a professional footballer. |

komekn: The quality of a league is also reflected in the money it can generate to attract players. Essentially good quality players follow indisputably the £££€€€.
How much was spent on transfers in the entire Segunda División this season and look at how much just Fulham spent on transfers.
When you have had a look then we can talk.
This is a players that his entire justification for ability is based on youth football of 5 years ago.
He went to the Eredivisie flopped got demoted to the second tier Eerste Divisie flopped again then ended up in Porto B playing youth football and shockingly was not even a regular.
He has gone to Huesca the Segunda División and is not a regular. Comes on for as a substitute in the 82nd minutes.
And he is being talked about as a prospect for the SE, that is unbridled delusional misguided favoritism.
Can someone remind us of the last time and year Kelechi Nwakali played a game of first team professional football. ❓
If l started talking about a player in English league one, who played 8 minutes of football in his first competitive game of professional football for over a year. The majority of people would be screaming expletives against me and saying l am nakedly blatantly biased.
You have quite a few players on loan from higher level clubs including Wolves. These are players that can't get a loan move in the Championship and not too many clubs interested even in League one. @The bolded. Even though I'm not your fan but to be fair you're right. I don't know who is hyping this Kelechi guy. Yet se people will be talking down on Iwobi , an Everton regular, while praising Kelechi that hasn't even tasted senior football in over two years because he played 13 minutes in a Spanish segunda division, tagging it as progress. Crazy innit? |
