Faithful007:@bolded. This won't happen. If it is to happen, it would have happened a long time ago, especially with the insurgent issue we have been facing. There was a time USA wanted AFRICOM headquarters)base in Nigeria but the government refused. Something of that magnitude will have to pass through the National assembly and I trust that it is where it will be crushed,m |
GloryIsaac:To be fair, I also belonged to that group of thought. I think the board just decided to trust him and have faith in him. I hope he equally rewards that faith by winning something next season and challenging for titles. May be he can start with this Europa league. |
Tobiloba2407:Instead of India to focus on their economy and continue to grow it like they have been doing in the past years, they are allowing themselves to be used by the west to fight China. Something that is not sustainable for them |
ugo4u:i know someone will come up with the trump policy excuse. Me I'm just waiting for trump to loose the election. So that that excuse will stop . May be by then you guys will see that US are gradually loosing their grip on the global level, no thanks to the Russia - China cooperation. |
bidexiii:US sanctions are becoming useless day after day. Everyone is now calling the bluff of Uncle Sam and giving no f**ks ![]() |
youghs:Ironically, the Libya situation is the reason why the thought of destabilising a country of the magnitude of Nigeria won't cross their mind in a very long time, at least not in the nearest future. What happened in Libya was an attempt to effect a regime change and not necessarily destabilise the country but it went haywire. If a homogeneous country like Libya was a failure when a regime change was effected, now imagine a country like Nigeria where on a normal day , an Ijebu man is always suspicious of an Ẹgba man not to talk of the other major tribes. The fall out will be devastating. Why do you think all those Western countries usually abstain from anything cessation when any group starts agitating in Nigeria . It's because if they decide to support one group, numerous group will follow and it's a recipe for civil war and unrest. The only meddling that the western countries do is subtle Election manipulation to put their own man their, but even at that, the Nigerian political landscape is evolving and it won't be effective much longer In the long run, the better thing for all parties is Nigeria to remain one. The longer our democracy, the stronger our constitutions will become so as to effect checks and balances due to constitutional amendments that would have happened over the years and by then the issues of every tribe sections would have been attended to. |
dubylhover:And isn't it obvious that he's grown into that position to make it his own? What OGS will need to do is to get a better CF who is an upgrade to ighalo to give Martial a proper competition again, because it seems ighalo has lost a little bit of steam in terms of competing with martial |
Faithful007:The US might not necessarily want to destabilise the country (as it will take more than this kind of report to do so), they just like to use this kinds of reports to undermine any administration that their relationship has gone sour with. |
I can now see the reason why Ole is usually reluctant to make substitutions during games. The second team players are trash, especially the forward lines |
Geestunnar:Las Las Na Ole go finish Maguire. He couldn't even give the guy a break ![]() |
sylvalord:Gbam!! You get the idea. Roma were pricing him for peanut, and with his performance at Roma this season , they brought him back because the board must have felt they should be able to squeeze out 25-30 million from his sale |
OJURONGBE1:Oh. Then perhaps he's grown accustomed to the UK. Cos someone like him could easily go and make some cool retirement money in Asia or USA |
OJURONGBE1:The fact that the issue on his contract is about duration and not wages can only mean one thing, he wants a British passport before leaving England. |
blowjohn:Google is not using your info against you because you are a nobody in the grand scheme of things and you are also not an important person of interest. Most important people all over the world don't use all these Google and the likes, most of them have private and encrypted server for their online activities devoid of spying, the popular ones among them with public figure status only have social media accounts controlled by their assistants and only post info online subject to their approval. So man like Dangote might be posting about an event, meanwhile, the assistant posting it for him might not even know where he is |
raumdeuter:This is not true. Except may be you are talking about the 70s during the Liverpool era in Europe. But 90s to around 2004/05, EPL were toothless dogs in Europe. Things began changing in 2004/5 for EPL teams in Europe. Before these periods, the best leagues then was the Italian league followed by La liga, the teams from those two leagues were the ones bossing Europe then. |
raumdeuter:He meant before EPL became a top rated league from around 2007. And from 2007 upwards, Ferguson did very well in the UCL. Between 2008 and 2012, SAF made 3 UCL finals. He could have won the three of them , he was just unlucky that he met a Barcelona team on steroids in two of those finals. But pre 2007, the best leagues then was Italian league followed by La liga |
paafin:I hear that Garner and 3 other Academy players are about to be sent on loan for the next season |
Gracia |
temmypotter:@the bolded, is a lie. Arrested terrorist in the US don't have rights, they are not treated with dignity and what not. What do you think Guantanamo Bay prison is for? It is a torture den for terrorists . No country treats terrorist prisoners like a regular prisoner including the US |
andrewbaba44:Im telling you bro. it's one of the reasons I'm not happy with Nacho's insistence of staying out in Leicester. The quality is there obviously but he won't get a lot of chance to prove it while warming the bench. English league is generally overrated, no thanks to their media |
andrewbaba44:The same way they usually described Gnabry before the guy came to England and destroyed both London clubs in the UCL Very annoying description |
GloryIsaac:Taah!! Which kind of rotation. Even Man utd rotate more than Liverpool. Liverpool is always starting the same players every week, except there is an injury to one of the starters. Those guys are too fit. Well it took them 3-4 years of mastering that demonic tactics sha before they start getting used to the running. |
komekn:Hope they can do it in the premier league, if they get promoted. Cos the EPL is a different thing altogether. If you saw the way Norwich played in the Championship last season , with their beautiful football, you won't even think that they will get relegated so quick. So all this one Na wash |
BlueMann:I'm sure pulisic has more minutes than Greenwood. Majority of those 34 appearances were cameos and subs. Greenwood started starting games after resumption when Daniel James drop in form became worse. Modified; I'm even correct. Pulisic played 1727 minutes Mason Greenwood played 1311 minutes. So using 25 appearances vs 34 appearances is a deceptive ways of bending the stats to suit your agenda why not use a fair stat , which is per 90 minutes. Useless shekpes and stat bending. That was how one drunk shekpe fan said Fernandes has 84 career goals in which 78 out of it were penalties. dumb shekpe fans everywhere ![]() |
Oasis007:it's an open secret that Liverpool's midfield is dead in terms of creativity. No thanks to Klopps style of play. No wonder someone like Henderson is a legend Klopp tried to bring a little bit of creativity into the middle by spending so much to bring in Keita, but that one is a bad business because he's always injured. And also the reason why he brought in Minamino too, The good thing is that those midfielders make up for it with their work rate |
TalabiAudu:I guess most of them low-key never rated both OGS and Lampard. |
Expert17:I think they celebrated it earlier in the year before covid 19 break. 2000 PL matches of having at least an Academy graduate in the match day squad, |
CapitalCee:Ahh thank you jare. As well as Tuanzebe. The thing is Chelsea fans are not used to this kind of arrangement of having Academy graduate playing an integral role in the first team, it's alien to them, that is why they are making a big deal out of the whole thing. No wonder a guy called Odoi could scam them by collecting huge salary just because he played well in few matches last season. Man utd on the other hand have made it a tradition up to the extent that most people in the club now see it as normal. |
Expert17:As in ehn. Sounding like broken record everywhere. The way they are talking self, you will think they played the whole first 11 of Academy players. Not knowing that it's just 3 at a time. Something that Man utd does regularly over the years up till this moment and nobody makes a big deal about it. |
Segedinho:Yea like we bought them all in the same day or same transfer window . mtchweew. |
BlueAngel444:It's funny how you conveniently omitted Brandon Williams and Mctominay who also played a key role during the season, while inflating the price tags of our players just to make meaningless point. let me correct you. Pogba 90m Martial 50m AwB was 50m Bruno was 49.5m with add ons it will increase latter in future . Mind you , your so called Chelsea Academy players have gained experience from playing on loan in multiple championship/EPL teams e.g Mount, Tomori, Zouma, Abraham (who has played a full season in the EPL in the past with Swansea). Compared to inexperienced Academy players from man utd who went straight from Academy bto the first team, e.g Greenwood, Williams, Rashford, Mctominay, and fringe players like Chong. Oga find your square root biko |
raumdeuter:The fact that they had to change the punishment to paying of fines shows that money has changed hands at high places. No wonder those City executives were very confident |
