If you guys want to compare every performance this season to last season we might as well stop watching Chelsea again cos I don't think a club with our quality can play worse than last season

I hate reading 'If it was last season, blah blah"
There is no way Chelsea this season won't be compared to last.

Deal with that.

bigkesh:
Sterling should have been the player of the month

If Jose was still here those stupid FA wouldn't even consider hazard

They must hate the Cfc-Jose combo so much
You are even guilty of comparing this season with last season. lol.

Chelseafan1:
He is in charge of the subs, the 3 previous wins, Fabregas had to bail us out in the dying minutes, what was Matic doing on the pitch till he was subbed off....why has he kept on benching Fab for Matic who has been shitty from Match day 1....he had to always, I mean always bring on Fab for us to win and also draw yesterday.

Whose fault is dt, Costa lost many chances but still scored 2 goals, he could av easily gotten a hattrick.
Conte knows why he is 'stubbornly' benching Cesc. Do you think he doesn't know the impact Cesc made in those matches yet he continue benching him? You only watch the matches, you don't watch the training sessions. And Conte the style of football he needs from his players. I strongly believe Conte knows what he is doing.

You want Cesc to replace Matic while some fans here wants Cesc to replace Oscar. This shows that even if Cesc starts, there will still be complains. He cannot bench both Matic and Oscar at once, can he? So why not leave the coach to make his selections? If Cesc becomes our super sub for the season, good and fine. As long as we win matches.

I'm looking at the bigger picture here. There is clear improvement in the team. That is what matters most, and Conte is responsible for that. Cut him some slack already.

Timbros, look at the bolded, this is my point exactly, there is no reason why we shouldn't have gotten the 3 points yesterday, we were too good we should have won flawlessly, this is a new season, we are competing against 2 master tacticians in Mou and Pep, ds is not the time to drop points anyhow, not against Swansea.
But it wasn't Conte that missed those sitters!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 10:53am On Sep 12, 2016
The kind of comments I read here sometimes is baffling...

After 4 matches, Conte has 3 wins and one draw (yet to lose) and people here is 'starting to dislike' him. Really? Did you expect 38 wins out of 38 matches from Conte this season?

Costa scored 2 goals yesterday (4 goals in 4 matches so far) and people are calling for Suarez kinda striker....Wow! People are forgetting that no matter how 'annoying' Costa can be, his primary business in the team is to score goals. And he is doing it perfectly so far. How someone will prefer Cannibal Suarez over Annoying Costa is beyond me...

Hazard have won MOTM in all 3 matches so far. Yesterday he wasn't at his best and people have started attacking him. Na wao....Is he perfect? Do you expect 38 MOTMs from him all season?

There is improvement in the team. It's visible for all to see. If it was last season, we would have lost the match 1-2. That's the plain truth. But we saw the fighting spirit in the team yesterday. That's a positive. So instead of criticising the team, let's look at the positives.

Just keep calm and watch Chelsea do great things this season.

Any of the 3 would be fine. All priced below or around 40k, Full HD IPS screen, 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, dual boot OS (Windows 10 and Android 5.1)
Choose your choice grin
Beautiful devices. But the dual boot OS will be complicated for her to use.

Most importantly, I see that they have to be ordered. I needed a device I can walk into any shop and purchase.

It has been a while I wanted to get her a new Tab but I've been procrastinating until this morning that her current Tab refuses to boot (it has been having charging wahala for a while now). So I want to buy another one for her at most, this evening.

Please recommend an 8 inch tablet with the following specs.

2gb ram.
Good camera (it's for wifey...women and selfie cheesy )
Up to 32gb internal memory.
Good battery life.
Budget: 45k-50k (but if I see a really good spec, I can add more dough.)

Tecno marketers, I know of Tecno Droidpad 8D (ii) and I'm considering it but I'm turned off by its 1gb ram and 16gb rom. So no need to mention it.

I need more suggestions. Thanks.

N.B: 8 inch screen please. It's very important. No more, no less.

You mean hidden hazard was the one blocking shots and saving goal bound balls

Maybe defence is where his calling. Where he dance around one spot without achieving anything. He should leave attacking to players like Neymar wey sabi
England trashed Germany and you dismissed it as 'just friendly'. Spain win Belgium in a friendly you single Hazard out and carry him matter for head.

Who do you this thing sef? Eh raumdeuter?

Meanwhile Neymar fan boys won't see who is comparing Hazard with Neymar NOW. Before long, they will swarm here now making all sort of rubbish comments.

“It was amazing to have Mourinho call me, even though I’d been warned before how he would appeal to me,” Kante said.

“I listened to his arguments about why I should move to United.

“But at that time I was hesitant between staying at Leicester or leaving for Chelsea.

“My discussions with them were already well underway. But when I spoke, I had a good feeling with Conte.”

- N'Golo Kante
So Mourinho wanted to hijack our Kante deal? Chai....

PSG demanding £38 million for David Luiz, rejected a £32 million bid from Chelsea.

I wouldn't mind him coming back. Yes his play is erratic most times, but the truth is that he plays with passion.

Now this is interesting. ..

The James Rodriguez to Chelsea rumor aren’t over yet as the Colombian’s agent Jorge Mendes reportedly held a meeting last night to convince Fiorentino Perez to let themidfielder for Chelsea.

Perez reportedly wants 60 Million Pounds for James while Chelsea are ready to offer Fabregas as a make weight to the deal without offering the full sum and that has been stalling the deal.
Cesc should stay please.

He will be having competition with Oscar while fab rotate with matic. I only saw his highlight on YouTube, he has a good shooting skills, stamina and a final third pass than Oscar, but let's see how he perform in epl. Overall, he's not bad as a player.
I think Cesc will naturally come back into the starting XI if Conte finish fine tuning the defence. Oscar is starting ahead of him now because he marks more than Cesc and Conte doesn't trust the present defence line.

Let's wait and see how and where he will play Brozovic.

He is alright, more of a runner than a passer.

I don't see him as being noticeably better than Marco Van Ginkel and Pasalic so I don't think it's adding much that we don't have already within the squad.
I'm thinking the same thing. CM is not a position we desperately need personnel.

CB should be top priority this period.
