I just drove pass there few minutes ago!

No shooting, nothing unusual to catch my attention. I even spent time in Rumuola junction traffic.

**Modified**

I just called a friend who stays around the bank. He said that there was information that armed robbers will attack so they beefed up security. It was infact the police that shot warning bullets that was heard.

Honestly it feels great to know Zouma is back in training.

With Costa reportedly leaving, we would most likely be in the market for a forward. IMO Griezmann would be a great addition. You watch this lad play and you're forced to believe that he would be up there someday hustling to win the Ballon'dor with the best legs.

A Costa swap deal go make sense.
I was very happy seeing Zouma training again. He was really missed last season.

I don't think Costa will leave.

Pataki:
Who knows how many seasons Chelsea will go before they ever smell continental football again? There are various factors big name players consider before they sign for clubs. One of such factors is, are they going to play in European Championships? You think a Cesc Fabregas will leave Barcelona to go and sign for Norwich or Watford, in this day and age where you can make so much money from global marketing brands if you are featured in continental matches?

Or you think a certain Kante who fought tooth and nail to make sure his club features in European Championship season will suddenly, let it all go and decide to play for a Chelsea? What is the incentive? grin

Every player looks at the opportunity they have at the moment and grab it. Football is a game that one season you are fantastic, the next season you are probably on crutches. So forget all these bigger pictures you are painting here. Na Emenalo dey see bigger picture. grin
Pataki:
Financial stability/security matters a lot these days. But then again, there are those who are into the game for the passion and joy that it gives them.

Hard to categorically state what motivates a player either for the money or the passion. But then again, Kante does not strike me as the kind of player that will want to deny himself of the opportunity of a Champion's League feature this coming season just to play for a dying Chelsea.
Pataki these are excerpts from our discussion not long ago about Chelsea's ability to sign 'big' players this season.

I'm very interested to hear what you have to say now. grin

Hear him...

‘I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’s a dream come true for me.

‘The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.

‘My first season in English football was very special and now I hope to go on to achieve even more during my time as a Chelsea player. I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and helping the club achieve a lot of success.’
Dying Chelsea? lol...

My team of the tournament

-----------------------Buffon

Nice line up.

Only I would remove Payet and put Kimmich in that backline. Change the formation to 4-4-2.

France will battle it out with Portugal for another major trophy in their home soil in the Euro 2016 final at Stade de France on Sunday night.

Didier Deschamps’ men overcame Germany 2-0 in the semifinals on Thursday to make it to their fourth major tournament in front of their home crowd. France were twice the European Champions – in 1984 they hosted and 2000 co-hosted by Belgium and Netherlands. They were also the hosts when they won their only FIFA World Cup title in 1998.

Portugal on the other hand didn’t break a sweat to defeat Wales 2-0 in the semifinals. It seems like Fernando Santos got his tactics right for the first time in the tournament. The win against Wales is also Portugal’s first ever in this competition inside the regulation 90 minutes.

Portugal have never won a major tournament in their footballing history. They finished as runners up in 2004 after losing to Greece in front of their home fans by a single goal. They were also semifinalists on three occasions – 1984, 2000, 2012.

Team news

Portugal: Fernando Santos is hopeful on the fitness of Pepe, who missed the semifinal clash against Wales. There are no others players missing through injury or suspension and Santos is expected to field a similar line-up he used in the semifinal.

Predicted line up (4-4-2):

Rui Patricio – Guerreiro, Pepe, Fonte, Soares – Mario, Sanches, Danilo, Silva – Nani, Ronaldo.

https://www.ronaldo7.net/news/2016/03/1098-portugal-starting-eleven-against-belgium-in-2016.jpg

France: Deschamps’ French national team has a clean bill of health and changes are hardly expected after a solid display against Germany in the semifinals.

He is likely to field a 4-2-3-1 formation with Griezmann in the number 10 role with Payet and Sissoko in support.

Predicted Line-up (4-2-3-1)

Lloris – Sagna, Umtiti, Kolscielny, Evra – Matuidi, Pogba – Sissoko, Payet, Greizmann – Giroud.

Head-to-Head Stats

These two sides had met in the European Championships – in 1984 and 2000. Both these clashes were in the semifinals and both the editions when France were crowned Champions. Interestingly either of these ties were won by France in the added extra time.

Their only other meeting in a competitive match was in the round of 1996 FIFA World Cup in Germany. Again in the semifinals at Munich, a penalty by Zinedine Zidane send France into the semifinals. Portugal finished the tournament fourth after losing the third-place play-off to Germany. While France lost the finals in penalty shoot-out to Italy, a match which marred by dodgy refereeing decisions and infamous head-but by Zidane on Marco Materazzi.

France are on an 8 match winning run against Portugal across all formats. They have a strong record at home after winning in 12 of the 15 games, while losing just twice.

France must win a competitive match against Germany for the first time since 1958 to book a spot in the final of Euro 2016.

The hosts made light work of one of the tournament's surprise packages Iceland, winning 5-2 in Sunday's quarter-final to reach the last four. But now Didier Deschamps's men most negotiate a route past the world champions.

Their last meeting, at the Stade de France in November, was rocked by terrorists as three suicide bombers targeted the stadium, killing one outside the ground after failing to gain entry.

The match continued to its conclusion, with France winning 2-0, as talk turned to security ahead this summer's tournament.

France could welcome back both Adil Rami and N'Golo Kante after the suspended duo sat out of the 5-2 victory over Iceland on Sunday.

Both have now served their bans and are in contention, while Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud - both one booking from a ban - were sacrificed early against Iceland to ensure they can feature in the semi.

Germany, meanwhile, will be without Mats Hummels for their cruch clash against hosts France after a booking against Italy.

Mario Gomez is out of the tournament with injury, while both Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sami Khedira are major doubts with knocks.

Possible XI

Germany: Neuer, Kimmich, Boateng, Howedes, Hector, Can, Kroos, Draxler, Ozil, Gotze, Muller

France: Lloris, Sagna, Rami, Koscielny, Evra, Matuidi, Kante, Pogba, Griezmann, Giroud, Payet

Portugal take on Wales on Wednesday night at the The Parc Olympique Lyonnais in the first of the Euro 2016 semi-finals. The first competitive match between the two nations will see Real Madrid superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale go head-to-head.

Remarkably, Portugal are yet to win a match at Euro 2016 within 90 minutes. Fernando Santos’ side reached the last four with a 5-3 penalty shootout win over Poland following a 1-1 draw after extra time. Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring early on for Poland but Portugal responded brilliantly and were back on level terms after the half-hour mark. 18-year-old midfielder Renato Sanches combined brilliantly with Nani before drilling a low shot past Lukasz Fabianksi.

Portugal scored all five of their penalties in the shootout, with captain Ronaldo taking the first kick. Rui Patricio saved Poland’s fourth penalty, allowing substitute Ricardo Quaresma to settle the tie with Portugal’s final spot kick.

Midfielder William Carvalho will miss the match through suspension after picking up his second booking of the tournament against Poland. Carvalho is likely to be replaced by Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira. Left back Raphael Guerreiro faces a race against time to be fit in time to face Wales, meaning Eliseu is likely to keep his place in the starting eleven.

Wales became the first Euro debutants to reach the semi-finals since Sweden did so in 1994. Chris Coleman’s side stunned audiences, coming from behind to beat Belgium 3-1.

Radja Nainggolan opened the scoring with a brilliant long-range effort. Wales captain Ashley Williams got on the end of Aaron Ramsey’s corner to head home an equaliser before half time. Ramsey got his second assist of the match, and fourth of the tournament, when he said up Hal Robson-Kanu for Wales’ second. The tie was settled late on when substitute Sam Vokes headed past Thibaut Courtois.

Ramsey and Ben Davies both picked up second tournament bookings, ruling them out of the semi-final. Premier League winner Andy King should come into the midfield to replace Ramsey while James Collins is likely to replace Davies at centre back.

Coleman described Ronaldo and Bale as “two of the best players on the planet.”

“I don’t suppose there will be any love lost on the evening. We know what’s at stake, any friendship will have to wait until after the game. It’s the same message, we won’t change anything. We can’t affect what’s said about the game. All we can control is ourselves, our group, and how we approach it,” he added.

Possible XI

Portgual: Patricio, Cedric, Pepe, Fonte, Eliseu, Danilo, Sanches, Mario, Moutinho, Ronaldo, Nani

Wales: Hennessey, Gunter, Collins, Williams, Chester, Taylor, King, Allen, Ledley, Bale, Robson-Kanu
