You asked the guy phone and mifi, which is heavier? Trying to drive home your point that buying a mifi is better and lighter than going for another phone. But you are forgetting that you can't just use the mifi to browse. You still need a device to use the mifi.

So I ask you again, phone+mifi AND phone, which is heavier?

Let Glo finish with the said cities first before going to towns.

OP why did you upload two different phones? One image (the first one) is your phone and the other image (the second one) is an internet copied image.

Your phone has an issue (broken screen) and you claim it doesn't have an issue.

Conclusion: you are not trustworthy.

Before you guys start laughing and making jest of him, ask yourself, 'how much did he buy the phone?' It could be that he intentionally bought the phone knowing fully well that it is a chinko android phone but wants to use it to form effizzy.

I'm torn between Glo and MTN.

My device (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2) supports both MTN bands but not Glo.

But Glo subscription is affordable compared to MTN.

How come out of all bands available, they released their LTE in the least used one in Africa?

I am thinking this is a deliberate strategy by Glo. To use a very scarce band so that their extremely cheap 4G plans can't be used.

Meanwhile they will have it on record that they have rolled out 4G LTE service in the country.

Dat a phone is 4G enabled does not mean its gonna work on all network or with all sims. all these 4G network providers av frequency/bands dia 4G can work on. so the best tin to do is to do a little google search abt d frequency/bands a particular phone supports.

Glo 4G is BAND 28 (700MHz)

MTN 4G is BAND 20 (800MHz) and BAND 7 (2600MHz)

NTEL 4G s BAND 8 (900MHz) and BAND 3 (1800MHz)



and so on.

I did some research and found that band 17 is 700MHz and my Tab supports that band. Does it mean it will work with Glo 4G?

U mean like samsung pre installed chaton on their phones and nobody used it? Or like Google tried to push google plus on their Nexus and still failed. Allo os nice but not guaranteed it will be successful.

With the Whatsapp comparison surrounding Allo, people will definitely use it if pre installed in their devices.

Allo is nothing like ChatON or Google+.

Whatsapp thrived when BBM was the in thing. At a point (even now), people use both apps simultaneously. Now that BBM is going down, people can easily use Whatsapp and Allo as primary instant messaging apps.

I'm not saying 100% that Allo will succeed, but with the look of things, it will.
