The people he helped flee the country days before with their families and friends so he was on his own. The coup would have been bloody my people even the rats that he feed fat in Aso Rock wanted him out. OBJ would have struggled to rig that election for himself but would still have lost it all.

Jonathan only changed the life of 10 % of Nigerians, the other 28 % were just clouded by sentimental blocks in their mental systems. The fact was that he had no chance but to leave, his time was up otherwise the rich would have suffered in Nigeria unnecessarily and would have still been Gbabowed away from power.
