Honestly I don't get the level of hatred igbos have for Yorubas.. I don't really know what's wrong btw the nyamiri and afonjas but this thing is getting to much and it's kinda affecting my relationship or perspectives... Why are the Igbo quick to attack yorubas on anytin when their real enemy are hausas... At least history has always told us how North mistreated igbos back then but now igbos seems to ignore that part and create a new enemy (Yoruba).
First observation: A lady created a thread just to abuse yorubas and she even mentioned their names, haba it's getting too much na. Her moniker is Amatarasha
Haba it's okay na, why the war btw the two Tribes na?
I know some Igbo will still come here and abuse me Cox I am a Yoruba and I don't care but this shit should stop.. Stop creating thread to abuse a particular tribe nor mentioning their food as disgusting.. It's unfair and it should stop on nairaland... I'm a Yoruba with Igbo friends but somethings I read here on nairaland gives me second thought about my frnds now of which it never occurred before.
Cc: Lalasticala Mynd44 Seun and other moderators, Pls find a solution to this nuclear war that is about to start btw Igbo and Yoruba.
Maybe everyone should even go their way sef, if one Nigeria no pay, make everyone just go their separate ways in peace than to go after a civil war.
Just a submission though, if you like abuse me, na you sabi

iceboy4752: In 2018, about 1.8 million candidates sat for the UTME. Sequel to the release of the results, JAMB released the top ten highest scorers.
My observation was that all the top ten and even top 20 highest scorers were science students. It got me wondering why only science students top the chart yearly. You may think it's because art students are dull but there are also very serious and intelligent art students.
Does that mean out of the almost one million art candidates that sit yearly for UTME, it's impossible to find someone scoring at least 320? In fact, the highest score I've seen from an art student so far is 303. I've never seen or heard of someone claiming they have seen higher than that.
What could be the reason?
Science courses are easy.. Art and commercial courses requires logic
I am losing my mind right now. Nairalanders I'm heart broken again and I'm tired and fed up. I'm 22 (twenty two) and My relationship of 30 years as in I mean good thirty years just ended, she broke my heart seriously and to add salt to my injury, my other girlfriend that we have been in relationship for 22 years too did the same. I guess you guys just been wondering and pondering how come a 22 years old guy lost a relationship of 30 years and 22 years respectively.
Full details : My mom told me that when she was almost 9 months pregnant (na me dey her belle), a woman brought her daughter of 8 years saying if my mom give birth to a boy, she wud gladly give her daughter to the baby boy. Fortunately for me, I came out and I started the relationship with the lady. Now my relationship on 30 years just went down the drain. I want to cry oooo
Secondly, shortly before my mum gave birth to me, she said another pregnant neighbor came and told her that she is having a female and if possible my mum give birth to a male child, she wud gladly give her daughter to me. We were born in the same month, and we started dating officially after our naming ceremony. Now she has gained admission into a university and told me that she's got a new boyfriend. Note: the boyfriend did what I didn't do for 22 years, he disvirgined her... Shitttttttt
yettymuse: Must be a working class!
I'm 28, could be older or same
Great sense of humor
I'd prefer you stay around Ajah and it's environ
Please be an extrovert ..
badadvice: I will advise you dont end the relationship. Instead, shower her with enough gifts, expensive gifts like a phone, large sum of money, car, land, etc, and wait patiently till she finally sees how much you love her and agrees to give you the cookie. Patience while providing for all or almost all her financial needs is the key!!
I wanted to say you are mad but when I saw ur moniker, make I no talk
Why do African men loves to maintain monopoly over a lady pussy? Like they think a lady pussy should be meant for him and him alone but they are free to Bleep any lady they want. As in we guys thinks a guy's dick can drill any hole but a lady hole shouldn't be drilled by any dick. I watched a South African movie that took place at Johannesburg (Catching feelings) . The white man bleeps any lady that comes his way and see no problem with drilling any hole but his black frnd has trust problem leaving the white man with his wife at home. White man don't even care if another person drills their wife pussy but African men are not comfortable with such. Ordinary dance with another man, an African man will not agree to such talk less of sleeping another man's house overnight.
For those that watched the movie, did that white guy slept with the black man wife or the black man was just dreaming. I don't understand that part bcox the lady did as if notin happened.. Pls for those that have watched it, was it a dream or it was real? If real, why didn't d man react and why did the lady did as if notin happened? Movie title (catching feelings)
Ps: I can't let any one drill my woman hole ooo, whether na wife or girl friend or I just get interest in you lasan.
Guys: Do you have the black man mentality or you have adopted the white man mentality.
Black man mentality: monopoly of pussy White man mentality : anybody can drill, I don't care

EmmyBlogs: The police have arrested a 60-year old man, one Benjamin Omole, for allegedly engaging an 11-year old girl in sex romps in Surulere area of Lagos, where they reside.
It was gathered that Omole lured the victim into his apartment, removed her clothes and defiled her before allowing her to go but warned her not to tell anyone.
However, the matter got exposed after the parents noticed changes in the victim’s behaviour and body. She was confronted and she revealed that Omole, popularly called Baba, had been sleeping with her.
The matter was reported to the police in the area and Omole was arrested. The matter was later transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for investigation.
It was gathered that the suspect, Omole, admitted that he slept with the 11-year old girl but narrated that he did not force her as claimed by her parents.
The police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement which may attract several years in prisons if found guilty.
However, when the matter came up at the court, his plea was not taken after the prosecutor asked the court to ordere for DPP advice because the victim was a minor.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs O.Sule-Amzat, ordered Omole to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail. The court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
Therefore, Omole will remain in prison custody pending the outcome of DPP advice. And if the DPP finds him culpable, the matter will be transferred to the High Court for trial.
spinna: Buy a sewing machine and other sewing things with the money.. Then go and learn sewing. It's a very good skill to have. U can learn the northern methods as well as the southern methods which will give you an edge. But buy the machine first so you can have something to start with. You can learn IT skills on your own with the Internet. Best of luck to you.
Hmm I'm learning... I can even get a second hand machine from my brother Cox that's his work... But wunt the machine rust
Hello Nairalanders, I need your help Pls I'm a student in one of the federal Uni. in the northern part of the country precisely Bayero University Kano (BUK). Final year I have some amount of money say 30 to 40 sha just like wizklynd23. Actually I love fashion designing and I also love to learn an ICT programme but my school and environment is a drawback to me (I must confess).
Fashion design:
Being in North, I don't want to learn fashion designing from hausa man coz na them dey inside school (Pls I'm not tribalistic o, I understand what I'm saying) Cox I stay in southwest (lagos). The reason is that their way of tailoring may be different from southern tailors. But the problem is that my younger brother is a fashion designer and a confirm one at that. He learnt it during sec school from ss1 to ss3 and now, people troop him for cloth, I must say he is one the best young fashion designers I know. Trust me guys.
Considering the fact that my brother is a tailor, can I be one too? I don't want barbing or shoe making(two of my brothers are doing it).
My question: should I take up fashion designing since I love it and secondly can I learn an handwork during NYSC?
ICT I have a diploma in desktop publishing and I lectured in a computer school for about a year after learning for a year too. I am good on core draw (I may not be updated but give me a design, I will do it.). I was one of the best in my computer school. I have interest in learning an ICT skills, I don't know if na programme, Web Development or anything, I just wanna learn it. I heard that one guy in Ikeja is good in it Alabian solution but I don't av chance coz I have to resume to school, final year though.
Apart from fashion design, which handwork can I learn (take away shoe making and barbing )
Nairalanders : should I go for fashion or ict and if there is handwork I can learn, which one?
Note: I'm a seasoned confirm student business man, I love business too but I don't have much to start business so I'm considering learn fashion or ICT.
Last year, I had a business idea to start selling fruit salad on campus but time didn't permit me
Cc: lalasticala, mynd44, farano, dominique, naijacutee, FOD. God will bless you all, Pls help me front pagerize it..
JewelBukky: @OP, Since you're in your finals, I would sincerely advice you concentrate on your project and final exams... You wouldn't want any distraction! So when you're done, you can now invest your time and energy into what you've got passion for (tailoring.... Better put, fashion design)
Op... I sense confusion fear and some sort of distraction from your explanation... You see dear, you have to be focused and determined! You have found what you love, go for it! Forget that your brother is into fashion design as well, its not bad if you join him too! It would only be bad if you both fail to do well in it!
And as per your environment- Kano.... You don't have to be discouraged! There are very good tailors there... Not all are northerners... Search for those who can tutor in your style and way! On the other hand, learning from a northerner can be an added advantage! You could be unique in your own way! Create something different! Your own style! Internet has made things easier... You can learn and advertise, sell and loud yourself from anywhere you are!!!... It all depends on how you package your brand!
And yes, you can learn while serving.... Actually there's this empowerment program (SAED) you'll come across in camp... Varieties of skills! You choose your passion.... They'll tutor you there in camp and then you can continue when out of camp all through your service year at a token... Infact this might be the best time for you to learn your fashion design.
