man, not as perfect as yould need it, i still see the dark areas of your pupil, just at the edge. An advice, next time you want to select a precise area like that, its best you zoom the image to a very high percent before you select, in that case, you magic wand would be able to pick your pixels batter. ROTFLMAO 55% percent done ?? come of it man, thats bullsh|t. one of the early things to do while designing is placing a title to your pages, and even if you wanted it to be dynamic, you could have still placed your data on the title tag, its shows how bad your design plan is (you aint a professional at all), its a nom. tell me how many pro site at beta stages that have no titles .you seem to enjoy trashing other people's work when you do not have a real portfolio to begin with. The 900+ static website project is plain wrong and only someone with very minimal knowledge about web design will do 900+ static web pages.well my2cents once said that, and I'm sure he ate his words when he saw the 900 page site , wait for your turn too, silly, A little education for you here, call to require in PHP will result in fatal errors and end script execution one time, maybe you have not read that part.result to fatal errors OMG!!  I guess it's time to list websites designed by you. @loungr, my portfolio can't be listed to cheap souls like you , i neither need to impress you nor prove to you what i can do, those who need to already know,  @ micheal.g, dude i've used photoimpact since it was in version 3.4 (for you to know how long i done know am) it's quite good, and as a matter of fact it does, rendring better than photoshop, and also there are some photoshop plugins that were made from photoimpacts library, but it is still not better, trust me on this @Afam, you talk like an average naija web guy, "I'm okay with, ", man abeg move with the trend oh, just for instance, that your eStocks site sucks big time , imagine, your page no even get title. Even if you claim you are trying to optimize graphics and use text, tables, its still armature, and what the hell are two <html> tags duin in your source codes, guess you used ssi's (called includes or require in php). if thats it, then remove the tags on the ssi's from <html> to <body> and from </body> to </html>, that should save you some real mess, most especially when you get to do a better site.and for you forms, man you no sabi use form validation?? your DW should do that with no stress, and not your mysql database spooling your errors for you .anyways i understand you just dey learn how to use URL parameters |

Well we just told him the phase one of his problems,he might still have doom set ahead of him @damseremie , well if that works, lets hope it does, you "might" have to either create a replica user you have locally with the one online and set a global privilege to the user. from my understanding, you know how to use PhpMyAdmin not Myphpadmin (since its yours, it sure wont work ) so like prodgalson said do the export thingy Since you used dreamweaver, yyou'dalso have to edit a .php file in your siteroot/Connections/ folder , you sshouldsee somfin similar to this 1 <?php 2 # FileName="Connection_php_mysql.htm" 3 # Type="MYSQL" 4 # HTTP="true" 5 $hostname_examguide = "localhost"; 6 $database_examguide = "examguide"; 7 $username_examguide = "timmy"; 8 $password_examguide = "abstract"; 9 $examguide = mysql_pconnect($hostname_examguide, $username_examguide, $password_examguide) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR); ?> you might have to edit line 5 (but not always, most likely that remains the same value and if u used 127.0.0.1 locally, change it to localhost online) but certainly your line 6,7 and 8 most be well monitored else yuld be setting for doom, i just pray your client is the gentle type else na yawa for you, anyways like i said lets know the kind of admin panel your host support, then i could give a precise help. |

whats so fly about the site, one its a flash site (or lots of flash contents) and its got a plain black BG, whats uptight about it, there one tommy guy on this forum that would surly break the spine of feladurotoye.org, in short the site sucks, i would have passed, but seeing your comments on the site makes me want to 'piuck' , whats so fly about a black bg site, with no unusual layout, concept, content, aesthetics and what have you. {hiss} |

@vsylva, some of your sites are not bad at all, pretty impressive, i actually took my time to check all of 'em, and by the way, ITSL just lost my props, i used to think they had bad ass guys in their fold, so na you dey cover up their licking asses , one thing i just observed is that on a few of your sites , your php codes dont close up well, i see some leaking tags here and there, professionally you should try to correct that, and another thing is, work on your graphics too, some of em look like fireworks stuff, or just try to make your jpg's well optimized |

can someone pls explain this sh!!tt Error establishing a database connection This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down. Are you sure you have the correct username and password? Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname? Are you sure that the database server is running? If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums. and i wonder, since when did a wordpress designed site become a so awesome thingy that no other parson can doo, durgh!! |

well one thing about ajax developers now is that many of them are creating their own styles just for the aim of making ajax simple for novices, ever heard of backbase, well i use their apps pretty well and they have an ajax/dreamweaver extention you can install, what it does is to help you with the dreamweaver intellisence attribiute. so when you create backbase tags it quickly gives you options to make you ajax{backbase version} work, and i got some other extensions from MXCOLLECTIONS too |

@smartsoft, you really are some smart dude, next time you want to copy my sites, ask for permissions first, but i'ld pass (na because na you ohhh), wellmy verdict 1) place all the home contents in a <p> tag and set the style to. <p style="line-height: 150%"> that should solve that problem 2) you silly site links are too small. (you asked me why i like image links, guess your silly head should have told you to do better) 3) learn to optimize graphics, the title part looks too low qualitied cant say more, cos i know where the concept came from |

Okay Guys, this time need help, I'm presently trying out some crazy stunts and i intend using a gallery, Well i need my images to appear as thumbnails and then link to the real img, but i need to install a gd-library on my system, i run apache2.0 on vista (got my xp upgraded) and its been hell tryin to get the gd-sh!!t working, i read from the gd site how to config on a NIX but what of windows now Where are the mutants in the house ? |
