BusinessRe: Should Banks Charge Customers For Unsolicited SMS Alerts? by timmy(m): 9:15am On Feb 12, 2013
jamace: Banks Are Stealing From Customers Through Alerts

Can you imagine my banks deducting money from my account for sending me alert when I withdraw or deposit money? Again, during festive periods, say Sallah and Christmas, banks send best wishes message to me but charge my account for it. Is that right? What about deductions made from my account for an unsolicited birthday wish by the bank? Is it proper? When I think of the customer base of these banks and the amount they make, I feel the banks are fleecing the customers illegally.

I feel deductions due to unsolicited best wishes on festive days and customers birthdays by banks should be borne by the banks.

House, do you observe this and what do you have to say about it?
FCMB does not charge for Bank initiated SMS, that much I know. I run my primary account with them. I only get standard charges when there are transactions on the my account.
Often I do money transfer or pay my dstv and pchn bills via their ATMs.
SportsRe: Should Siasia Share In Keshi's Glory? by timmy(m): 3:59pm On Feb 09, 2013
chima12: a coach being sacked is just a part of the coaching job.mourinho was about to be sacked before he left chelsea for inter milan.roberto di mateo was a success at chelsea but was still sacked, same case with avram grant who took chelsea to champions league final and still got sacked.that a coach is sacked doesnt meen he is a bad/poor coach.
Then that should also apply to siasia.

But mind you, keshi is only winning his FIRST medal as a coach. albeit is being a silver or an afcon Gold
SportsRe: Should Siasia Share In Keshi's Glory? by timmy(m): 11:34am On Feb 09, 2013
chucky234: Keshi coached U20 and failed?
You certainly knows nothing about foottball ot coaching,Siasia is a poor coach who can only excel at youth level,he was lucky to have assembled
The right group of players in 2005 and 2e008 were he lost to Argentinal in both finals due to his poor tactical and technical knowledge of the game and thats the Argentine coaches capitalised on to punish us in both 2005 U20 final and the 2008 Beijin Olympics final.
Siasia is egocentric and proud,he sees himself as a kind of semi god that players and Nigerians should worship.
The most successful coaches around the world are those that have a personal cordia and fatherly like relationship with their players,it has been working for Sir Alex Ferguson at Man U,worked for Louis Van Gaal at Ajax, worked for Mourihno at FC Porto and Chelsea, worked for Frank Rajkaard and Pep Guardiola at FC Barcelona, worked for Houillier at Lyon and Liverpool and worked for Ancelotti at AC Milan.
We are talking of man-management as thats what makes a sucessful coach and thats what has kept Keshi going,do you know that Keshi still have a sound relationship with his past players like Adebayor,Kanoute,Keita,e.t.c but same cannot be said of Siasia who have a sour relationship with his past players due to his ego and Mikel is one of them.
HAHAHAHAHA Biggest joke ever.
Wo do you think the likes of obodo played under first?
Siasia is egocentric? You're such a know nothing, do you know the amount of fund raising siasia did all by himself before he was able to get Mikel and co to the u20 nations cup world cup? You call Feguson, egocentric coach Number 1, ask David Beckham. Mourinho!!!, hahahahaha ur a joker,
Keshi and Adebayo hahahahahahaha abeg no kill me, kai.. pls google abeg,
Nigeria forced Osaze on siasia and he decided to do the ppls wish, now we blame him for inviting him, same thing with keshi, we all screamed at osazes drop, now we praise it.

As foolish as you are, you call some who lost to a team that had Messi by a loan goal and you say he was technically ineptitude.
Siasia has been the only nigeria coach that has given us a youth team that all players are still actively playing football 8 yrs after.

Dont worry, time will tell, even NFF dont trust keshi much. Do you know keshi and siasia were both interviewed for the nff job and he was miles ahead of keshi.

Nuff Said
SportsRe: Should Siasia Share In Keshi's Glory? by timmy(m): 8:00am On Feb 09, 2013
Might I also add, Keshi is earning 5million naira today cos of Siasia, Siasia remains the first coach to stand on his grounds and give the nigerian couch a good face, before now, all coaches were earning 1.5.
Alot of us dont know what it took him to win the u20 youth tournament, might i also add that keshi also coached the nigerian u20 and failed.
SportsRe: Should Siasia Share In Keshi's Glory? by timmy(m): 7:58am On Feb 09, 2013
Tropilo: You are not even lucky enough to be 10th to comment.

Siasia, lacks tact and technical ability.
If Siasia is good let him go and proove it somewhere else first, must he be employed by the NFF? Then come and cry sabotage later! Keshi did with Togo and Mali.
Let Siasia go and try with Gambia, Eritrea, Somalia etc. That man is incompetent.
People should stop deceiving him. He wont learn with the deceits and unneccessary agrandisement.
Siasia should go to a good coaching school. Either Man United, Barça, Milan or Betis schools. Even Sunday Oliseh did! Haba...!!!
Where did keshi prove his, remember he was sacked twice, Keshi has never won any silverware as a coach, so i dont get where you are coming from.
SportsRe: Should Siasia Share In Keshi's Glory? by timmy(m): 7:35pm On Feb 08, 2013
For someone who doesn't like keshi much, this post has kinda made me feel a little lighter..
and YES Siasia share a large chunk of the credit.
Emenike, Moses, Musa, Ideye, Fengor, Nosa, Obiora Nwankwo. just name them.

PoliticsRe: Ideas For Solving Traffic Congestion In Lagos by timmy(m): 6:21pm On Nov 14, 2012
Skipped a few post, not sure if any of my point have been mentioned but i had similar tauts 2 days ago on my driving to work and this is my resolve .

I think lagos should have official working hours.. Like 6am, 8am and 10am.. meaning rather than everyone resuming work at 7am or 8am, companies should have a flexible resumption period.. ie if you resume 6am, you close for 3pm and hit the road right away. same for those who close for 8am to close for 5pm and 10 for 7.. Also commercial busses should be reduced, yes, reduced.. Accredited and certified danfo buses should be allowed to use the brt lane. that way they can be sure not to stop in the middle of roads trying to pic or drop passengers.

Another option is to have parking spaces in major local areas, like we can have a parking venue at national stadium, orile, yaba, ajah, etc, major residential areas, all you need to do is drive your cars there at a particular time and there are buses waiting to take you to your major zones like VI, Ikeja etc.., only ppl whose zones aren't covered can use their cars, if they make it cheaper im sure many ppl would use these zones.
Cos iv noticed that on thursday mornings in lagos, traders open for 10am, there usually are lesser busses and cars on the road and getting to work is most times very smooth, why not make it a policy then? Certain markets with major traffic flow should open late.. Idumota..etc. a few other things sha, (im tired of typing tongue)..

@OP you beat a girl 2x and you think she needs professor pella to tell her you aren't the right man for her. Come on guy, you chased her away the very first moment you landed your hands on her. I bet she went to her pastor or someone older and that person probably asked her a few questions about your relationship in the past, or she's been very active on social media and has been seeing lots of female bashing these days. Don't blame her for being wise. Now is the only time she has to be wise and she chose right. Move on, deal with it and learn.. Never beat a woman.. You'd live to regret it.. You already are regretting..

RomanceRe: Does Sharing Financial Responsibilities Bring Disrespect In Marriages? by timmy(m): 1:33pm On Jun 19, 2012
I'm married and i share certain responsibility with my spouse. 3yrs gone past and im still looking for the first disrespect. But then, by sharing bills i dont mean equal. I just designated certain responsibilities to her.
Like she pays for the nanny and for the woman who sweeps the compound. She buys toiletries and water for the dispenser. Sometimes she buys the gas, but only if it finishes while she's cooking and im not at home. I'm of the opinion, if a woman chooses to work, then she must make inputs as well. Working is the God given manly role, Home keep is for women. The moment a woman chooses to work, then her proceeds should also come to the house, after all whats or who is she working for. If i earn 300k monthly and my wife 120k, by default, a total of 420k is the monthly income of the family. and should be used for the growth of the family, yes keeping aside the other stuvs she needs to buy like makeups, cloths, aso-ebi's etc.
It just my opinion and it works well for my home.

SportsRe: I Won’t Pay Fine - John Obi Mikel by timmy(m): 11:14am On Oct 07, 2011
when mikels father was kidnapped, the whole nigeria rallied round to help find him,  and now he has a chance to prove his nation is top most priority, he strolls into camp with his brother and a friend,  lets not deny ourselves, we know mikel is a proud loaf. im sure siasia would take actions after the match,  after all fengor is a better player and joel obi is a better passer,  who needs mikel.

If he really needed to see his dad, should it be at the detriment of the people who helped u in the first place?,  if his dad had died, would he have left Chelsea and quit football?

FamilyRe: Should A Married Lady Ask Her Very Rich Ex-boy Friend For Finaicial Assistance? by timmy(m): 2:53pm On Jun 02, 2010
same thing happened to me a few weeks back,
my ex needed cash to sort out a pressing issue, and i  guess her husband is pretty low on cash, im also married but i had to tell my wife about it and did give her the money, not as a loan, though she requested a loan, but i truly dont want her feeling indebted to me, and im sure her husband would not like the idea. But the irony of it all is since the money, and the thankyou sms, i haven't heard from her since, and i think it's best that way.

being an ex truly makes it easy to express things for each other, cos on a very nomal day, she wuld never have asked,

my take, Its not that much of a bad idea, depending on the maturity of the two ex's but the husband should NEVER know,

now, im really feeling like a good husband,  good to know some men are loosers.

But let me just add my 2 kobo, my wife is also nursing our 3 months baby and our marriage is barely a year, but don't yu think yu just might be the reason,
How? yu may ask.
well IMO, what if yur not taking care of yurself like yu used to, when my wife was always smelling of baby drool and breask milk, i had to call her attention to it, AND thats becos during a counsel session we had, someone shared that option, probably yur husband dont want to complain,  i think yu should strike a balance with how yu were before the baby came,  try to dress as sexy and neat as possible, and dont make the baby come btw yu two,  try to engage him with all the talks that happened to you all day,  I go to work but somehow, my wife always have more tales to tell me, either how Davina( our baby) scratched her face or how some truck almost cut out wire or the how africa magic yoruba repeats movies too much or how the gen guy wasted fuel or this or that,  just be the ideal woman,  try that,  it sure wuld work,
