Pls house advice. I am yet to fund my block account. Can I apply for visa interview or wait til I fund? Thanks

Gud day everyone here. My story so far. I applied for admission at university of applied sciences, kiel for information engineering last summer but I was denied visa cos my bank did not fund my block account on time. I av the admission again but but due to increase in euro the money am having is not enough to fund d account. I had my Student Visa interview recently and thought to share my experience (...to whom much is given, much is expected), praying for the best. Thanks to everyone for the info shared on this thread and Eke40seven for the mail sent. Prospective Student Visa interviewees should go through his post on Nov. 29, 2014(Part 1, page 460) and other posts. Therefore, I will try as much as possible to make my account specific to avoid repetition of similar answers.

I opened my block account early dis year for summer admission but now that am processing for winter can I use the deutsche bank letter or request for another one.

I went to the bank for my form A. The bank listed some documents but out of them was mentioned payment advice. That is why I brought it the gurus in d house to Pls explain it n how n where to get it. Thanks

Got the same mail almost a month back, sent my documents the next day, but nothing till you fund. no funding, no visa.

I am sure a.m mail usually include "come with 3 months insurance"...... when my guy got the mail, it says "Please forward the following via a courier service or drop directly at the gate". the documents includes
- passport
-A prepaid self addressed envelop
-propose date of travel
- 3 months insurance.
So if that mail didnt include the above , especially the 3 months insurance, I fear the worst!!

No. But some days after his interview he was asked to fund his block account to further his visa application process. He has not fund it wen he received another mail after a month that he shd send the envelop to the embasy for his documents. Pls what message did u think they re trying to send to him.

No. But he receive a mail some days after the interview in January to fund his block account. Which he has not done.

What happened if someone is yet to fund the block account but was sent a mail to sent courier envelop for his documents? Pls need reply urgently

My advice is either you contact the embassy regarding it or resend the new db account form through the embassy again.
Note:- the bank only accept new form from 01.01.2016 where you will fill your tax country & taxID/PIN.

Pls did u av the embassy phone no. The one I av is not going through. And what is the tax country n tax ID about?

Hello fellow nairalander.good work u av done here. pls i need ur advice asap. i got admission late last year n i av applied for the block account on the 16th of december but up til now i av not gotten any confirmation or notice about the account from the bank. i summited to the consulate office in lagos. your rely ll be highly appreciated. thanks in anticipation.
