Seeing comments on this thread, there's nothing to find out about why Nigeria remains like this.

This two categories of people form majority of the Nigerian population:


1. Those who can't read and thus remain largely uninformed

2. Those who can read but never do so and thus, they have a very warped idea of reality.

Out of this two, the second category is worse Nairaland unfortunately has a lot of them.
