Why does he need to score against the big teams? If he scores against all the small teams both home and away, I guess thts more than 25 goals. So who gives a flyin fck if he decides to hide his leg against Chelsea and Liverpool? At least, Arsenal isn't a big team for now. Arsenal isn't better than Villa in me opinion. Well done lads. Rooney-keep scoring, Nani-u need to keep impressing, Owen- ure the joker of the season. Saf- ure the god!!!!

The same enemy in disguise! Get off from Ijaw people’s d$cks. Ijaw people will never support your Bia-fry’s selfish interest, especially when it was so glared to them that you are brainwashed with “Aro-Chukwu’s caste” mentality and ideology; which says if you are not 100% Igbo, you are so inferior! You ran helter-skelter, even zig-zag strides and nobody is there to nudge. That tells you that your chicken has come home to roast.

Trusting Ndigbos again with power in this country would amount to suicide. The memories of the 1960s are still fresh with the rest of us when the Ndigbos conspired among themselves and lunched brutal attacks on eminent sons of Nigeria from the North and South West. They brutally killed eminent people like Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Sardauna of Sokoto and Akintola. The then president, Azikiwe knew about the plot and so embarked on a prolonged trip abroad with an excuse to seek medical attention. His personal doctor who was among his entourage had to leave his oga abroad becouse he was tired and was already running out of his personal esta code. Unknown to him that his oga had a hidden reason for his prolonged trip. Thank God their plot backfired and they were called back to order.
Kini big deal? Why you hate what you can't conquer and fear what you don't really understand? I guess I know it, sense of inferiority complex!

who told you I am bragging. What do we all have that was not given to us? we all came here empty and we are all going empty. But while we are here there are a lot of lessons to learn, life don't play favourites. How can you have when you find it impossible to celebrate those that have? I have come across people like you too many times, it used to bother me, but for the past few years it does no more, i have come to realise that when the poor open their jaws you can't expect anything much but jealousy, they bit the hands of those that have the ability to feed them.

if I where you I will open my eyes and ears and learn, so don't take that as an offence, take it as gospel according to BAC. If I have properties or not does it matter? But if i have a lot of properties how does it make you feel?

I say all these with a heart of love. If you want to own your own property in Nigeria let me know i may be able to connect you with the right direction. But if not keep paying your rent please, cool

@Lastpage

i agree with most of your posts.
Brilliant piece.

But i strongly disgaree that the laws of demand and supply will ultimately lead to an equilibrium in Lagos?
No one is saying the market forces shouldnt dictate pricing.

no one has attacked the pricing, the ease of payment is the topic of discussion and the abitrary rates being charged by the landlords
I have refused to answer someone who said i shld go and borrow to pay rent. I shld borrow to buy car, borrow to pay school fees, even borrow to buy clothes grin grin grin

hehehe, very funny. The role of Govt. in this case is not to reduce the 1.5 million im paying but to ensure you dont get stripped by overzealous brokers. Do you know how much commissions you pay on rent in Lagos? a rent of 800k for 2 years will probably demand some add ons tht will be close to 200k. for what?

are there no ways touting and illegal commissions can be removed? these and other issues are things the bill should and will address.
why not pay quarterly instead of paying by fiat for 2 years? People say its hard for tenants to be checked for credit worthiness and i asked how come the banks can do it?

@The rich man who asked me to borrow to pay rent
I pay more than what i quoted here and i dont have probs paying for my rent.
This convo is just trying to address one of the ills of the society

Charging 2-3 year rent is evil
simple

One of the reason why God gave you one mouth and 2 ears is so that you can listen more and talk less. Some people here choose to talk foul about the rich. I wonder how they can ever be rich. And some of these guys think those of us living abroad live poor. Sorry oo, I can never be poor. I own everything I have in london and Naija out right, my days of tenant in London has been over for the past 15 years and I have stopped doing business with Banks here for over 3 years now. That is with all humbility.

I don't know who has spoken to you guys that you cannot build a house, if that is what you believe you are whipped before you even start. If you are humble enough to listen to those that have money, you will end up having it. But if you sit there and critic the rich, how do you expect to be rich.

And that you are in London does not mean you can make it here. If your maker did not send you here, you will suffer ooo. Money goes to where it can appreciate, not to critics that don't know the law of money. To all my agents in Lagos, collect my money complete or else I sack you.

What constitution are you talking of? I wonder if you had ever read the constitution you shout of. The so called constitution is a decree promulgated by Gen. Abdulsalami. So in effect it is a DECREE and not a constitution in the true sense. No other constitution i know of was made that way.

When the military took over in 1983, they suspended the constitution (and not abrogated), so why did they not restore the constitution, instead of promulgating a decree.
are u for real?

The 1999 constitution is a decree? a constitution tht was adopted on the day we started the 4th republic journey?

Meanwhile the Hausa and Yoruba elites rulings this country are afraid and against true federalism. They are afraid of convening a conference where the various tribes making up Nigeria would all spleen out their grievances, these elites feel that they would lose out in such an arrangement. So they would try to keep the status quo, no matter the odds.
where did u get that from? what about the Igbos in power?

Their agitation for resource control remains valid - if they want to squander 100% of their resources, it is THEIR business.
what part of the constitution lays credence to tht in bold?
what ure saying can land you in jail!

they shld clamour for a sovereign national conference which the yorubas have been fighting for. Then, we can start talking about how resources shld be shared.
