lovejo: This is what Atiku demanded if you don't know:
1. 50 Billion naira plus profit on it as what he spend for primaries. 2. To Nominate 10 Ministers.
I hope GEJ do not succumb to his demand.
I heard this from a reliable from Northern Caucuses. ^^^^Ï guess you are joking! anyway the only reason GEJ will Incorporate Atiku is to compensate him, and to allow him embezzle all the campaign money, haha. |

uche13: I dint also get this. Why cant any Nigerian business survive to the next generation the way we see it happen abroad. A mans business should outlive him. Any man without a successor can not be said to be a true success. The issue with our dear country is the sentiments we attach towards issues like this. Who said your children must take over your business. If none of them are competent, simple get an outsider who you believe is in tune with your vision and let him continue on with your legacy. Imagine explaining to his great-great grand kids the kind of legal luminary their great father was without any chambers to show for it. Its sad and i personally feel pained. yeah but I guess he had his line of reasoning. |

Elijah and the Widow at Zarephath
7 Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. 8 Then the word of the LORD came to him: 9 “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.” 10 So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, “Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?” 11 As she was going to get it, he called, “And bring me, please, a piece of bread.” 12 “As surely as the LORD your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.”
13 Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the land.’”
15 She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. 16 For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the LORD spoken by Elijah. During the drought God sent the prophet Elijah to the brook Cherith. Elijah drank from the brook and the ravens fed him there twice each day. Our Scripture reading tells us that "Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land" (1Ki 17:7). It was time for Elijah to move on. Then the word of the Lord came to him: "Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you with food." (1Ki 17:9). Did you catch what God said? He said, "I have commanded a widow , " (she had the choice to obey afterall it was more reasonable for her to eat and die according to her) Earlier, He told Elijah that He ordered the ravens to feed him. God's Word can make demands in any and every situation and expects to be obeyed – even by ravens and by heathen women. "Go at once to Zarephath , I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you with food." Did you notice what Elijah said: But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. |
