kennedyugo: Well, have not learned any other Nigerian language save Igbo (sweet Igbo).
Table is known as "okpokoro" in Igbo except the use is not common, but the igbonized 'tebulu' is commonly used
nope,okpokoro means empty container

hey dude, am perfect oo, am nt an Englishman. .xo wat happens when u ar told to write in ur own dialect just as u have written. . English was first spoken by Anglo(angle) and saxon tribe in England. A small pagan tribe, by then old or archaic English sounded same as latin, xo when d normandy people conquered england, english was forbbiden, latin were used in their church, and court houses, becos of dat it underwent various modification,English borrowed xo many words frm latin, french, spanish, greek,Afrikaans, swahili, german ,and many others, and then we borrowed it also, just for easy communication. . .xo dude how many naija lang. borrowed words frm English?

I must say dat English is among d world's easiest language and also its d most broad.. I believe until d advent of English to naija, we have been communicating better.. There ar still words which ar hard to translate frm English to our local lang. And frm our local lang. to English. I found it hard to know wat TABLE is called in IGBO(pls pls, can someone help me wit it). .xo English is easy and simple to learn.

Unlike our different dialect in niaja, for example ,my mom reads igbo Bible, but wen i looked at it,brotherly ,i tried to murmur out some words, it wasnt fun at all , ,I open dis thread to get to know our opinions on d easiest Nigerian lang.

I have lived in benin for 6 years,d bini lang. dat i know how to utter ar d greeting formalities ,dooo, domur sir, eeye wacoyo, worsunu and others, .i also believe ,assuming i had lived in d west, maybe i would being fluent in yoruba. . And my own language(igbo) nt dat easy oo,cos there ar many versions of igbo ,d typical main igbo ar found in Imo state, i speak little of anambra and delta igbo combined .i got dis problem be4. In ma town this two words ARA and ALA were misinterpreted as BREAST and MADNESS respectively, buh at my teenage time dat i found dat ARA means madness and ALA being breast. .common trend wit d igbo's and d yoruba's . . So Nlander's lets open d floor of d house, . D easiest Nigerian language to learn perfectly . .hmm, i got wit IGBO. .and wat do u y'all think of hausa, urhobo, isoko, bini, izon, and d host of others.

As a child YES i wore it ,i remembered then wen mom comes home wit bunch of pants. .then u will see me displaying it to ma mates in ma hood, hey guys ,see (stretching d bands) ma new swagg. . . , 6 years later,at d age of ten i decided to do away wit it (it doesnt make sense to me anymore) there ar tins dat ar mean for d kids and as well d old or aged. Then as a teenager i hated it,u wont be comfortable in it, especially at nite u will feel pain due to d rise and fall of d p*nis or wen d urinary tract is almost filled up.it doesnt give a gud shape to d p*nis, dats why some ar bent. .it suits d ladies perfectly .so we guys go for d boxers and d tight like tug, wow it makes a man feel gud but come to think of it ,why is there a hole and a button attached to boxers ,hmmmmmm, easy swap i guess. .so guys am in ma early twenties ,d question is . , .do u still wear pants dis days, and d ladies does ur man wear pants
N.P : we ar Africans nt d Americans, we know wat we call PANT ,and we know wat we call TROUSERS.

Religion / Dat Moment Wen D Rev. Fr Says, let Us Offer Each Other D Sign Of Peace. by Tobetoe(m): 1:11am On Dec 30, 2013
Why i like d catholic church so much is dat u tend to remember Jesus anytime, anywhere ,even wen u ar down in faith . . Or dat moment wen u where bouncing under d euphoria of immorality last nite and then u look sideways or left to right and u see d image of Jesus or d Rosery ,well ur mind will go(men i got to do ma job). .TO my main topic, there is dis part of activity included in d mass(service) wen christ is to dwell in our body,as He performed it at d last super,d rev. Father in d form of Jesus says to d congregation 'PEACE OF D LORD BE WIT U,d church responds, . . . . . . .HE says again,LET US OFFER EACH OTHER D SIGN OF PEACE(i swear, i like dat moment) and its accompanied wit shaking of hands(most popular) or hugging(pls dont try it ,its reserved for d married one). .trust me na,i stretch out my full arm to shake any palm i see,buh d married people always annoy me (it happened today) , wen i stretch out my full palm ,they give me half of their palm,or they will shake half of my own palm.they do it most especially wen they ar round there husbands. .pls Nlander's does it happen to any of u guys, have any one u noticed it. . . D young couples know how to do it very well(look at dis youngman ,u want to shake ma full arm in d presence of ma hubby) . ,i think dat should be changed frm hand shakin to hugging . Just go around and hug somebody, its a sign of peace. . . .pls, guys lets hear ur xperience.
