It was in 2012, i was seeinq a Nigerian movie ,it talked abt Naija girls and social networks,i cant recall the name of the movie anymore .a plateform whereby they can easily defraud men.. Oge Okoye were one of the lead characters, so she was mentioninq names of social sites where she catches magas' to her friends,and along the line ,she mention nairaland a social platform for Nigerians home and abroad... Going to church(a place of worship) on sunday is obligatory ,its also a resting day, so no excuse shall be condoned that one did not attend services on sunday except emmergencies.


Everyday of the week is a church goinq day ,so why stay so long 'kabashin' on sundays.. Human beinqs can be so tensed at times ,so that it bores them durinq those lengthy activities on sundays, i guess that is why crusades, retreats,programs and other church activites are not fixed on sundays at times, while sunday beinq the grand finale of such an activity will be used for thanksgivinq .


My self as an example, we spend two hrs durinq mass and an hr for Bible study on sundays , in most cases i hear my frnds complaininq of over due stay durinq sunday services ,that it bores them ,so you could often find takinq solace on their mobile phones(browsinq) and all that.

I cant imagine goinq to church on sunday from 9am to 3pm ,MAN got to rest na ...... Nlanders ur view ,give reason(s) why you stay long on sunday service .... Happy first sunday of the year.

Chicken has been the must sought after for the past two weeks ,includinq all occasion and all must have tasted chicken in one form or the other..... There is this culture in igboland that i find so repulsive, and i cant cope with such: children cant eat a whole egg of chicken or any other,and why the gizzard of a chicken must be left for the older ones to consume.

What is sauce for the goose should also be sauce for the gander,..... After midnite mass @both christmas and new yr celebrations, we take an appetizer first ,we dont miss chicken and fish pepper soup early those morninq, durinq those courses what baffles me most is that the chicken gizzard will always be preserved for the eldest, i kept my calm and just yesterday the new year, all took their turn and when i came for mine ,i saw the gizzard starinq and darinq me , i couldnt help it ,as i dished it immediately and slowly chew it down my lower dicotomy .. A drama ensued later in the eveninq ,when my eldest requested for the chicken gizzard, i told her plainly that i ate it ,see how furious she went,shoutinq at me ,ar u the senior, then i sharply told,that i dontknow abt that culture... Mehhnn, the thinq pained her oo, buh me i no send at all...
So Nlanders, is there such a culture, why must the chicken gizzard be left for the older ones .... Ur view
