Keneking: Is he now an electrician? Why would a prison have flying cables in cells for inmates to toy with? Anyway i-t-c!I wonder! |
One of the suspects facing trial for alleged involvement in the October 1, 2010 bombing in Abuja, Charlse Okah smuggled a GSM phone into his prison cell and was caught with a SIM card in his pant, Nigeria Prison Service (NPS) has claimed. This claim was contained in a statement made available to Daily Trust by the Prison authority, signed by its spokesman, Ope Fatinikun, on Sunday. The NPS said its officers conducted a routine search at the Kuje Prisons, adding that: "During the search, Charles Okah, as usual refused to be searched. But when he eventually submitted himself to the search,an MTN SIM Card was found on him(under his pants),A Nokia C2 phone and ab memory card were also discovered in an electric bulb fitting located on top of the concrete ceiling of his cell," the statement stated in part. It would be recalled that Okah's lawyer, Barrister Festus Keyamo recently petitioned the leadership of NPS alleging that some prison officials were trying to sodomise his client, Charles Okah. But the NPS described the allegation as unfounded, stressing that the allegation forced the Service to set up a panel headed by Comptroller of Prison, FCT Prison Command which found no truth in the allegation. "Preliminary investigations reveal that there was nothing that suggests or points to an act of sodomy on Charles Okah by any officer of the Prisons as alleged." The authority claimed that apart from being caught with those illegal objects, Okah is also fond of instigating troubles in the prison. "Instances abound where he had bridged electrical wires in his cell thereby throwing the whole prisons into darkness." The service noted that Okah’s allegations, including extra judicial killing alleged in the past, were "obvious efforts to intimidate the prisons, draw unnecessary attention and subvert the rules and regulations of the prisons.” http://dailytrust.info/index.php/news/2865-okah-smuggles-phone-into-his-cell-hides-sim-in-pant |

Child Abuse
|
I just saw this pix on facebook. Read carefully what's written on the Pix It's on child abuse/ early marriage
|
In support and at the same time against.... IMHO: early marriage can prevent promiscuity among young girls.(Its better to marry than to burn..Holy Bible) Morality/ decency among girls in the North part of Nigeria is Higher than that of the south. It can debar child's education- that's why we have high level illiteracy among girls in the northern part of the country. A child at the age of 8-13 might not be able to decide for herself. Eventually when she grows up and realises what was done to her, that often lead to divorce. High cases of death during child bearing are rampant in the North that is as a result of early marriage. |

I don't think I have seen any thread that praised Jonathan on front page. All you see is insult. Does it means there's nothing good or right about this man and his family? If some of you here should be made Nigeria president, I believe you wud do worse. Some people just derive fun and pleasure in insulting the president. May God help our leaders. |

We don't need to abuse each other here. It seems the taste and expectations of the newly recruited staff were very high before they faced the reality on ground. U'll understand better the value of d peanut u re earning when u compare urselves with state govt workers. the peanut of GL8 in INEC is equivalent to take home of GL12 in state ministries. Lets make our work environment lively for ourselves. I am sure when election activities starts some of u will still come back here to complain of too much work. As intelligent people, u can transform the idle time to something meaningful and worthwhile for yourself, your future and your career. There re lots of things u can do. For some people, the idle time is a real time blessing to them. |

blink182: People in pdp will definitely lose sleep over this announcement. This is bad for pdp, all apc governors have to do is deliver their states to the apc presidential candidate and pdp is out.who told you that? Gone are the days when a man or a group of people decide whom people would vote for. Everyone now knows what is good for them. This is just the 3rd episode. There are more that 200 episodes in the series. Too early to conclude. |

donchukey: Hahahahaha. True: Adeoti Elizabeth, Ondo State- making sure she is not employed. Lolpeople are just ingrate. What does she want those people who were not even invited at all to do? It would have even been better if she wrote such petition on the ground that she wasn't called for the interview. The petition is just irritating to me. Who ever thought there could be second batch at all. She should be thanking God she was called rather than the unnecessary petition. |

It has been long I see a post from him, pls guys come up with authentic info for us pls.
