It's going to be tough for both teams but I'm sure Torres will send acute paralysis down Vidic's limbs. Remains to be seen if Agger et al can keep the bald one at bay.

my line up:

Reina

Johnson Carra Agger Aurelio(if fit)

Masch

Maxi/Kuyt Aqua-man Babel/Yossi

Gerrard

Torres

We don't need another injury-prone player on our books!! RVN would be a bad investment IMO. Van D.V has reiterated his desire to stick with Madrid sadly. We really need an RB and a striker asap!! Maxi is a natural RW. Gives Dirk a break at least.

Funny how being 11 points adrift means being out of the title race!! Yossi, Riera and Aurellio are all available (thanks to the lady from Serbia) and so is Carragher.

@Muki, make the most of Arsenal's current luck because saying that Liverpool will battle for 4th place is a bit too premature with only a quarter of the season gone.

Kai see bad belle.Come to think of it,where are the liverpool fans that are wont to infest the sports threads with ynwa whenever the going is good for them,so they were just fair weather supporters

Criz,if in the next three posts,no Liverpool fan shows up,then pls lock this thread and no more stickied-preferences for them

Stupid boy! I post in Thisisanfield.com, Redandwhitekop.com and Nairaland. Nairaland is wonderful but these other sites are Liverpool sites where we can at least be a bit more analytical, objective and critical. Most importantly, Rasputin's half-wit comments are not on these sites!

Sometimes I wonder how all these injuries came upon us at the same time. I ask again, did the club offend anybody?

For all those calling for Liverpool threads to be locked, why don't you just stick to your 'booming' threads? Why do you feel the need to post here? Twerps.  wink

End of rant. (By the way, this was my 666th post so leave me the hell alone!!

Hey come on Crystalz  wink I never meant to sound harsh or anything and I criticized the article not the writer. I don't expect you to be pro-Liverpool and I have my hands up here with a white flag in the air here. Truth is, I'm usually the first to bash players like Voronin and Babel (I'm not blind), but I think that's best left to subsequent posters and not the introductory post.

As I said, you've been doing a fantastic job and I look forward to them. Don't stop ok? Besides can you imagine what my pre-match comments would be like? Try this for a caption;

    ALMIGHTY REDS POISED TO DEMOLISH FRANTIC FULHAM AS VORONIN EYES A PERFECT HAT-TRICK

Sizzling!!! grin grin

@ Bgees, Johnson's injured and his back-up Kelly is out too. Gerrard and Riera are absent and Aquilani has a virus. Did we offend anybody? angry angry
This is where Yossi the Jew steps up.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fulham Vs Liverpool [3-1] On Saturday, 31st October; by tocdee(m): 1:01pm On Oct 30, 2009
Cristalz, your analyses have been very decent and I've commended you in the past but It's shocking how this write-up focuses on Fulham's strengths and scrutinizes ONLY Liverpool'sweaknesses so far (compare paragraphs 2 and 3) sad sad Leaves a foul taste in the mouth. tongue

Terrible analysis in my opinion given that I'd always loved your pre-match comments. Funny how Voronin and Babel were picked on, Gerrard's injury celebrated and also your little surprise at the Arsenal's loss (I wonder why you were surprised when 10 changes were made to the team that beat Utd and the game was played at the Emirates). Liverpool can't be that bad being just 6 points behind the current leaders, can they?

Please revert to objective analysis and if you're not over the Anfield Utd loss, let Mukina write subsequent ones.

Thanks and keep up the good work wink

Sir Funguson always gets tutored on tactics by a man twenty years his junior! I don't blame him for throwing tantrums. Observing his demeanour during the game revealed how short on class he is when compared with Rafa. One would think he was the one under pressure.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool Vs Manchester Utd [2 - 0] On Sunday 25th October by tocdee(m): 8:07pm On Oct 25, 2009
By the way, I'm not gloating over utd. . . yet. Form means nothing in these games. I just can't wait to have Gerrard, Aquilaini, Torres and Riera fit and firing. Was impressed with Lucas today and Yossi has been by far the best Liverpool player this year. Just don't know why he doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

@bgees

Okay, you got me there. I've got an ex-player, not a current one.
Pennant here. Partly why he left.

Current players swore me to secrecy 'cos they don't wanna face Rafa's wrath. cheesy grin

@DK/Jalether
LOL grin
What kinda evidence, exactly?

Pennant's one of the most pig-headed players on earth. He didn't leave, the chap was off-loaded!! tongue Wenger discarded him for his attitude to work, Liverpool tried to sell him but he refused to leave. Got sent out on loan to Pompey; a team that was all too glad to see him get the hell out of their club.

Listen to players like Garcia, Riise, Morientes and Baros and you'll get a better picture.
