All I have to say is that fulfilled prophecies doesn't make one a mouth-piece of God.

"By their fruits you shall know them"

And can you imagine Apostles like Peter and John using the power of the Spirit to prophesy what Herod would have for dinner? Test every spirit.

saworoide:

Goals difference does not come between Nigeria and Tunisians now. We are currently level on goals diff, whatever happens in the last games, they need to either draw or lose and Nigeria will need to win by even a 0.5 goal margin which will take us over them. There was no need to look for the 2nd goal and expose your already weak defence. It took us 93 minutes to find a goal and you expect them to look for another in 2 minutes. You must be a die hard optimist to think that could happen with this SE.

I think you're wrong. Head-to-head takes higher priority than goal difference. Tunisia shades us in that area with 2 away goals here in Abuja. So unless they LOSE AND we WIN , we could score 15000 goals and still drop out! tongue tongue

But then, correct me if I'm bloody wrong.

El Nino over El Guaje?
You must either be a bad coach ,you dont know didly squat about soccer or you just have the hots for Torres.

The only advantage Torres has over Villa is his height but that dont even mean Villa dont score headers.

Anyway, each man to his own.

Villa can only be compared to the likes of Eto'o and I'd even argue that one.

Of course you'd argue every other thing apart from the issue being discussed here! grin grin

mykali:

Torres is a man for small games.
i'm yet to see him devastate a Man Utd or Chelsea defence in a crucial tie

Drogba can be counted on in the big stage
against Arsenal numerous times, against Liverpool towards Moscow
Drogba is sure to deliver

IF i wanted a striker to give me a comfortable goal's difference in the league . . .Torres
if i wanted a striker to win me a big match . . .Drogba

You're sooo lazy!! Do some research! Torres scores against Chelsea for fun and totally devastated United's Vidic in March. Scored the most important goal in the last Euros. Scored against Inter, Arsenal, Porto, Chelsea in the Champions League. Scored twice in the last Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park!! Do games come much bigger than these? tool! angry angry

I've heard people criticize him for his performances for Spain citing his lack of goals. I watch ALL Spain's matches. Villa scores a lot when he's partnered with Torres because Torres is ALWAYS man-marked giving Villa more room to operate and Spain don't play to his strengths.

That said, Drogba scores in big matches too and is an excellent striker BUT at Torres' age, he was an unknown.

The Administration threatened Reds must be feeling quite optimistic going up against this "Money miss road" club after their bubble was rudely burst by the "Bumbling Bramble" led Wigan. Chei, even the rich also cry. It is as clear as day that there will be much weeping at the bridge this season.

The more I read your comments, the less I think of your reasoning skills, and I'm serious.

Aint nothing special abt liverpool I beg to differ, it's simple Essien takes out Gerrard(has done it b4 succesfully)
Terry/Carva takes care of Torres and move the ball more quickly with intent and creativity and we win the match smiley

So Chelsea's aim will be to neutralize two Liverpool players? grin grin grin
Gerrard never plays too well against Chelsea but other players always do. Torres WILL always score against Chelsea and don't forget Kuyt and Yossi.

I'm not saying Liverpool will win but I feel they have a good chance of doing so.

& Chelsea in the Premiership. . . . . .we need to put down the 'big boys' successfully to have any claim on the title. . . wink

I'm strangely confident of beating Chelsea on Sunday. But a game at a time lads. Fiorentina is next; thank goodness Gilardino is suspended for this one and Mutu hasn't been playing well lately.

Hopefully Kuyt gets rested for Chelsea with Babel or Yossi starting on the right. I think Aurelio will start on the left as Riera has played 180 mins in the last 6 days. Agger won't play as it's confirmed he'll return to the team on Tuesday night against Manchester City reserves (Can't wait to have him fully fit cheesy).

P:S- I hope Drogba damages certain ligaments against Apoel too! grin

EDIT: These photos show Liverpool agreeing to build two academies in Saudi Arabia. Some believe its part of the deal to buy 25-50% stake of the club.
