Juwonb007: No way to help in this case. Whenever he's back, he'll sit for his exams; except u want to involve yourselves in exam malpractices. No one can sit on two chairs, ryt?
There's no need to write for him! it will only cost him 2,500 to write his exams by himself next semester.

ol2012: Hi moodstar, thanks 4 initiating dis thread. I just started d programme dis semester & fortunately registered 4 d 8 courses u listed above(though I choose apapa special study centre). Kindly assist me wit info on how 2 source 4 past exam questions of d eight courses. Although, my center Director earlier 2day(during d orientation programme organized 4 fresh students at d centre) mentioned dat NOUN's exams questions ar not in public domain, but I don't seem 2 believe him. Any info as regards dis will be highly appreciated.
Go to your study center and hunt for past questions in the surrounding business/ photocopy centers. Caveat emptor: of the 7 courses i worte this semester, only 2 or 3 repeated questions.

Hoddion: guys please, must i go with coloured exam reg slip to the exam hall, cos its the black and white print out i have?
It depends on your SC. In Benin colored is compulsory and must be laminated. In Abuja black and white printout is okay. Etc.

Just out of curiosity: in your study centre do you have to laminate your id card and wear it before you can write exams?
We don't do so in Abuja but I hear it's compulsory in some SCs.

Juwonb007: Go to your choice of SC to get answers to these or read thru the previous pages. JustAnAdviseAnyway!
I actually got most of info from noun website and this page. I did not go to SC until my screening, and the next time I went there was for my first exam.

This thread simply rocks, thanks to all the veterans willing to share. kiss

kekakuz: i really think the tma system is faulty
i submit 100% correct answers wich i confirmed from the materials yet i dont score more than 8.5

also i need someone to help me understand this case

if i registered 9 instead of 10 couses and my gp is 3.5 and someone who registered 10 courses has 3.1
does this mean that if i did 10, my gp would be higher or its higher now because i offer less amount of courses

in other words, does less courses give higher grades or its reduces it

i hope someone undestands me
Normally GP is gotten by dividing cumulative score by number of courses (credits). so if you score all A in 10 courses or all A in 9 courses your score will be the same... but generally in life the fewer courses you do the greater your chances of scoring higher, because you have more time to concentrate on your few. i hope you understand me cheesy

i agree with the TMA thing, i always carefully answer based on material then i get 8.50 etc. I even had one course that the TMA questions were not in the material at all. Either that or my material is incomplete.

onochieco: okay, thanks. I pray the invigilators will cooperate. its not that so easy studying without being lectured. lol
This is why most Nigerian graduates are illiterate: copying during exams. if you can't study on your own go and pay for tutorials. Stop justifying cheating.

Can i write exams in a different study center than the one i registered with? i'll be out of town during two of my papers except they postpone the exam again (i'm seriously hoping they will).

Takoro13: oh ooo! i want to agree with you that many bankers are in trouble now. i went to the bank we made those payment the bank couldnt do any thing only to tell us if they see any student complaining they will call us like wise the study centre accountant
I went back there today and the guy said he wasn't short. I don't know who else to report to. I'll sha leave the money in my wallet, maybe someday the error will be reversed.

Takoro13: strange things do happen any way. but check your ewallet and see maybe you have been duly charged for appropriate charges before you start using it. that money maybe there in another way. beware!
I checked my ewallet like you suggested. You won't believe the bank double credited me! I'll go and tell the teller on Monday, the poor guy probably paid for the shortage with his lean salary.

Please quick question: I paid PGD compulsory fee of 32,500 but the money is still reflecting in my wallet. Is that a bad sign? Can i use it to register courses for exam wink
