magnificientzaz: Hello e-family, Just for those of us still at the ECA stage... i applied for my transcript online since 3rd of December 2018 but etx-ng didn't do anything after i paid them. Had to get help from someone in school (uniben) to help fast track it. Just within a week, transcript is on it's way to canada now. I can imagine how happy I will be when i get ITA, PR if I'm this happy for my transcript. My advise is to apply for your transcript manually. Slowly but surely. It will end in praise!!! Etx is one chance. Even if they manage to get your transcript, you'll still be on your own for verification. Folks should only use etx if it's compulsory with their schools. |

manlikegb: @raphrulz, similar to my opinion. I know we are all anticipating and putting our faith to test(It will happen by God's grace) but booking a space and not using it, in my opinion, is as good as spamming the thread and making the pages to pile up fast.
Then I'm also thinking, if I book a space on page 1 and then the thread is on Pg 200 when my PPR testimony arrives, even if I go back to that page 1 to edit and update my full PPR journey there, I want to believe most people won't get to read and learn from my PPR gist because its the original date and Page 1 that the space was booked that would still be showing and not the present date and page 200 that both old and new members will get to read and learn from in real time.
Maybe I'm not making sense but I'm finding it hard to understand why the booking of space is really necessary. I stand to be corrected pls.
It will end in praise for us all. Lolz let's just chill. Booking of space is mostly done for fun. Similar to the nairaland FTC spirit. Whether we like it or not it's cool to feature on the first pages of this sooo popular thread... Even people having nothing to do with EE process sha struggle to book that space. Also some people want to make their prophetic declarations... I shall announce my PPR on this thread, etc. |

slydog: Lol, not so easy. I wrote my first ielts this Month, still expecting the results, but I know I didn't do well in the speaking section. I will also not mind requesting for remark if its below 7 When I use 6.5 on speaking to calculate my crs at 31 years, I often get 439, but if use the same 6.5 @ 30years I get 442 Thats why I'm thinking once the result is out and eca done I will jump into the pool while deciding on what next to do It's quite difficult to get below 7 in speaking. Speaking is the easiest section for Nigerians. Na the English we dey speak everyday and we are naturally favored accent-wise. In my experience on this thread people who generally come out of ielts speaking hall thinking they didn't do well always score 8 or 8.5 lol. That writing you are confident about, you should be more worried about it. |

Zutlin: Please is there anyone who has a space to give out at either Qlife or IOM for this week? I have been given PPR and Remeds. My PPR is for 15 days but I only have 10 days left. I've tried but can't seem to get a near date.
Alternatively, does anyone know a staff in either hospitals that can help?
The medicals is for just me.
I know I can ask for extension on my passport submission but I don't want to. After 9 months in the clutches of AVO plus an interview, God finally released me. Congratulations! Pls contact the hospital and explain... I believe they will prioritise your appointment. And congrats to you @jolajemz |

Ifeoma77: @johnnybravo1990 If you're with family, just take drop/taxify/Uber. It won't cost more than #800 and will be cheaper than all the along you'll enter. Even if you're alone, using keke and along will cost like #500 to get to Wuse II from Apo. If you're a wicked skillful pricer, you can get a drop to take you there with like #600. I had fun drawing up all the along options It took me so long to understand Abuja transit, can't resist showing off my knowledge of the along system Welcome to part 7. |

johnnybravo1990: I just touched down Abuja for medicals. Please where is the exact address for IOM Abuja and how to get there? I'll be leaving from Apo. Thanks. If you have funds, use uber or taxify. ₦800-1200?If you've never ever used taxify PM me and I'll send you a code so that your first ride will be free. Otherwise Route 1 take along vehicle from apo to area 1. Any vehicle at all. Can be keke or taxi. ₦50-150 From area 1 enter along to wuse market (taxi). ₦100-150 From wuse market take drop to IOM, No. 4 Buchanan Cres, Wuse 11, Abuja. Just tell the cab Buchanan Crescent after Banex. ₦300-500 Or from Wuse Market take along (taxi) to Banex. Then use Google maps to trek to IOM. N100-150 Route 2 From apo ask if there's direct vehicle to wuse market and take this option. Then continue as described above. |

topacs: On the crs tool, the last part which ask if you have a blood relation in canada, since he has a cousin in Manitoba (Canada) He can claim 15 point towards express entry with that adding to his supposed 429.. Still incorrect. Don't even know where to start addressing correction from, the entire premise is so faulty. |

topacs: [s]With a cousin in Manitoba that's additional 15 points totaling around 439 to 444 then you be perfectly safe.[/s] Manitoba points count for points for Manitoba provincial nominations and not CRS points. |

Tiredofnaija444: Would there be any red flag if an applicant get married post ITA but having a child together out of wedlock ?,because I'm afraid that ircc might be suspicious that since i had a baby why wait till post ITA before getting married...please help As at last year answer to this question would have been a hefty no, they won't be suspicious. But of recent we've been hearing that mid-process mariages are getting increased scrutiny by IRCC. I would say you shouldn't bother yourself too much, take one day at a time. So long as you don't have fraudulent intentions you shouldn't be afraid of suspicion. Suspicion will only lead to delay but delay is not denial. But just as an aside (pls don't be offended at the unsolicited advise): Life is not easy as a single mother. But it's definitely easier to be a single mother than to be married to the wrong person. |

ajasa4link: Good day guys.
I have not really taken the traveling option seriously till now. So today I met a bros by sheer luck. We got talking and he gisted me about how he used to work in an insurance company here in Naija before he relocated to CA. He advised I follow the relocation route and move ASAP. He told me a lot about their standard of living and all.
He hinted me about exams I need to take over there which I will take less than 2 months on getting there and I would get decent jobs till I decide to go for any of their MBA's over there.
Note am a I hold a BSC in Insurance, am a chartered insurer and working on my Msc presently and almost. He advised I get my Masters and process the permanent residency since still below thirty.
Please house I will like to ask the following questions:
1. What process would I need to follow to get the permanent residency?
2. How long will it take me to process from the scratch to the point of getting visa?
3. What is the cost implication from the point of starting the process to the point of getting visa?
4. What Will it cost as per traveling expenses?
5. Do I need to have someone in CA to send me invite/ prepare the way for me before venturing traveling?
6. Will my 2.1 degree, CIIN certification and my masters when completed count for me in getting permanent residency and even getting a job over there?
7. I know I may be asking questions already answered several times, in that case can you please point out the link to responses to me?
Thank you Start from page one of this thread. Read up and follow as many links as you can. |
