1) If the account to be used for POF is not involved in transactions (transferring in and withdrawal), to be reflected in the Bank Statement, can it affect the success of the Visa?

2) Is there going to be an interview during the course of Visa application or before one arrives in the UK?

First question: No it won't affect your visa success. Sometime last month, a lady applied with an account with no transaction: no debit, no credit, yet she got her visa, including her dependent's. The only rule is, make sure that the required balance for tuition + maintenance doesn't drop below minimum within the 28days or how many days you got on your POF before it's printed, through to when you get the visa.

Second question: That's on rare occasions but, there are no interview for UK student visa.

That's not necessary. They know it's your tuition+maintenance fee, so long it's been held for 28days without dropping below expected amount.

Should there be a cause for alarm in the case of 7 refusals to 3 different countries...but reasons for refusals are purpose of study and home ties.....

So long you meet up with the guidelines for your POF/Bank statement, and there are no falsified documents in your application, UK study visa is point based, unlike US. You're good to go. Above all, pray and believe. All will be well.

A 2006 UK refusal decleared on Teesside' application form: Does anyone know if this would hold them back from giving an offer? Does Teesside hold back over past refusals decleared?

I didn’t know it was possible to do your TB test after visa application, so it means you submitted the certificate during biometrics right?

Given your school doesn't require your TB cert before CAS is issued.

In 2006, as a minor, 16yrs old, my mother had applied for a UK visit visa for myself and two of my siblings to go on a Christmas holiday, we were refused due to insufficient fund. Now, I wanna study for MA, reapplying after 15years. The issue is, there was an error on my then int'l passport, my year of birth was wrongly written, also my first name was written as second name. Although, after then, I've had two other passports with my correct year of birth/names, which also reflects on my Original Birth Certificate. Please what do I do when applying for a study visa, looking this might pop up? Even though I was a minor in 2006 and I have no access to the passport, my parents misplaced it.

Have you tried going to the immigration office where you did it? You should go there and find out the reason for the delay and when You're probably able to have it. Yeye people.

Use your school' address for both TB Test and Visa application if you have no one in the UK you might wanna use their address.

Just study the Pre Cas preparation documents they sent but The summary is:
The number 1 question was my Student Id, please memorize that. Know all your course modules, why you choose Sheffield hallam Uni and what you know about Sheffield City, about accommodation- where you plan to stay, how much it cost and how far away it is from the Uni, whether you wanna work in the UK and why, what you presently do and how much you earn, why you choose your course and how it's related to your previous course of study, if you have dependants coming with you and what they plan to do in the uk, closest airport to Sheffield and how far it is to Sheffield, Organisations you plan to work for after completion of your studies. These are the much I can remember

Please does anyone know if Sunderland University accepts POF/TB cert before issuing CAS? I only know you pay £3500 deposit, then pay full tuition balance of £8K before or on resumption date, no installments, which is okay by me, after £1K schorlarship is deducted. I'm going for Media/TV/Film production for my masters but not too many Universities offer the course in MA or have January intake, but Sunderland and Teesside have it for January 2022. However, I'm trying to skip universities that require POF before CAS, e.g; Teesside. Thanks fam.

I do not think opening of account date is an issue.

I am only worried about the microfinance bank. Why not open your account in a regular bank? Such as Firstbank, GTB, FCMB....etc.

Although, I've got a UBA acct of over 10yrs, however, there's more to wanting to open an acct with the Microfinance bank if you understand what I mean. But if opening a new acct with a Microfinance bank to show POF will be a deal breaker for UKVI, I'd rather not do it.
