For the novelty of it, nursing profession is a hghly respected one in nigeria and very broad at that. You would see nurses who are passionate about their job, and you would also see those who are very quarellsome and non challant about their jobs. You would see those that are chaste and those that are promiscous.

The few I know personally are respectable and responsible.

Besides, there are Boko Haram militants who are also in jail and who may be eligible for amnesty.

Martina Anderson was a member of the IRA. When she was 18 she was arrested as she left a furniture store and charged with possession of a firearm and causing an explosion. She was released on bail after spending two months in prison. She escaped across the border to the Republic of Ireland.

Years later she was arrested again, after she was found with 4 notorious IRA militants in a flat in Scotland. They were charged with conspiring to cause (another) explosion. She was sentenced to life imprisonment.

She was released in 1998, under the terms of the Good Friday agreement that brought peace to Northern Ireland (part of the conditions of her amnesty was that she had to renounce violence).
She is now a member of the European Parliament.

Rossikk: You really should worry yourself about what is contained in that ''free'' antiretroviral treatment. You are too old to be so gullible in the belief that anything coming from the USA is simultaneously beneficial and free. Especially as the US has been implicated in the manufacture of several artificial diseases including AIDS itself.

As for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, the major reason they became tiger economies between 1950 and 1990 was massive foreign investment in their economies by western nations led by the US, Western Europe and Japan in the 1950s. Nigeria is a nation with an annual GDP of $400 billion and so will not miss any ''aid'' by the USA which itself could not send any ''aid'' to anyone if China stopped lending money to her. The US of course is bankrupt, rap.ed by a corrupt system that LEGALLY deprives its people of TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS which it hands to a small group of bankers and their political associates, leaving hundreds of millions in debt, homeless, destitute, and locked in crime-ridden ghettoes.

Dont ever think a Company from US will leave the comfort of their environment and come to Nigeria with loans from foreign banks , paying high taxes and being subjected to daily harassment by the Local Nigerian agents if his sole purpose is to expand Nigerian or lagos GDP/economy .
