Business › DPR Behind Sale Of Petrol Above N100 - Marketers by tolustx(op): 1:42am On Aug 08, 2015 |
Independent petroleum marketers on Friday said Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, would continue to sell above N100 per litre in retail outlets because of the insincerity of officials of the Department of Petroleum Resources in monitoring activities at the major depots. The DPR had, last week, sanctioned 23 major petroleum depots, including five from Calabar for selling PMS above the official price. Despite the sanction, independent marketers are alleging that the product is still being sold for N100 per litre to them with the DPR feigning ignorance. For instance, in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, retail outlets have been selling the product for between N105 and N120 per litre. The Group Chairman of Prosperous Oil and Gas, Mr. Isinkaye Abiodun, flayed depot owners for constantly inflating the price of the product. Abiodun said if the DPR was sincere with its monitoring, the fraudulent practice would not have been going on successfully. He said, “Corruption in the petroleum industry cannot be eradicated immediately. Part of that corruption is responsible for why we cannot sell at independent retail outlets at the approved N87 per litre. “The major importers of the product who are the same people collecting the subsidies are not being sincere. Apart from inflating the quantity of products they bring in, they also sell above the ex-depot price of N77.66 per litre to us... My sim is on Mtn Tru Talk. cmacs: The telecommunication giant in Nigeria MTN has at today released a cheap call tarrif plan that allows its/her loyal subscribers get as nuch as N4800 (four thousand, eight hundred Nigerian naira) worth of calls to all Nigerian Networks, which includes Glo, Airtel, Visafone, Multilinks, and Etisalat amongs others..
Disclaimer: Kindly disregard anyone or site that uses words like "hot. mtn unlimited free call" and others, as they are mostly just copy and paste bloggers who uses all enticing words to try and get users, claiming they are gurus and hackers who hacked into the networks server.
To qualify for this offer, you have to have either N10 or N30 on your phone, reason is because, either the 10 or 30 naira will be deducted to give you the N4800 nationwide call tariff.. for some sim cards, the 10naira will work for you, and others N30

ddippset: you nor get sense at all. Jonathan kept the money aside so it doesn't mix up wit the oil money (the chopable money). Since the world knew the amount of money that was raised at the dinner for the victims but don't know the amount coming from oil. So Jonathan kept it aside so he and his boys could chop the oil money well without mistakenly chopping the fund. Common sense. That's what he means by 'political interference.' I think it is clearly obvious who is senseless between both of us. |
