tablu:@ the bolden you are wrong! T.Y Danjuma remains one of the few men who will look Obj face-to-face and repeatedly call him cowards......I can tell you that Obj is always careful with him. |
Scatterboss:My old goat, I appreciate your following me up and down Nairaland but please I am straight look elsewhere. I am sure after your god I am next! Thanks for following me, but no thanks ![]() |
Obasanjo seems to be laughing now but it is crystal clear that in the not-too-far distance the Egba Chief will shed hot tears of regret for bringing this Country to her currenr pitiable state with his self-conceited attitude. A beautiful piece, excellently written and devoid of biased and jaundiced views! |
fred19:Nairaland no go kill pesin ![]() |
nkeona:I think so |
tommykiwi: .....................Nairaland no go kill pesin

Wrong move General..... starting from N40 per litre on PMS and now this suggestion, I think the Genera needs to softpedal on this sensitive issue. Firstly, this mooted idea can never fly and if by moral suasion it did, it will only breed agressive and sophisticated corruption from the Governors knowing fully well that the cushion effect of pension has been scrapped. I think the General needs to start with ex-Presidents first and should beam his spotlights on LSHA's largeses on ex-lawmakers. |
kodded:My brother, you have said the whole TRUTH! Looking at Amaechi's comment, I have a feeling he is a Nairalander |
E be like say Danjuma wan flog Atiku for nyansh ![]() |
chukwudi44:My brother this is what you get from these useless peddlers of unhealthy news.....I wondered when 'appeal' turns into begging in the hearts and mouths of these APC clowns Fayose remains the nemesis of APC in SW anytime, anyday! In his voice, ' I am Ayodele Fayose, Oshokomole, Irunmole to nje jollof rice'.....I too like this man with a class.
|
@dearpreye, you have nailed it well....as for the Lagos 'system' I was actually referring to the capital and recurrent expenditure thing.....with the way Lagos is going (spending a huge percentage of her budgetary allocation on recurrent expenditure), I don't see how the dream of becoming the 'Dubai of Africa' is achievable on the long run. Buhari has an enormous task of 'fixing' a Nigeria that will work for all at hand, unfortunately he is surrounded by sychophants who don't share his visions... |
dearpreye:My dear brother, this has been a perennial problem since Tafawa Balewa's time and the more reason Buhari should face his work like Uche and stem the tide instead of this 'Superman' showing of I will fix this and that balderdash...... how u dey jare bro! Lagos is a major culprit of this sham! |
godofwar666:Buhari is not OPEC and he is not World Bank, this incoming government needs lot of funds both locally and internationally to execute its many projects and I don't think selling pump price of PMS @ N40 per litre is part of it......yes he can reduce it a little but no he can't try the N40 mark. Our 70% budget allocations on recurrent expediture and 30% budget spending on capital expediture is killing! |
......for Amaechi (a member of Tinubu's bloc within APC) to tip Saraki as against Tinubu's George Akume shows the beginning of the crack that may eventually put APC to rest in pieces......it also shows the naiveness and eccentric behaviour of Amaechi ![]() |
omenka:I share your sentiment on Akume, Goje should be considered for this plum job.....Saraki is a no-no! |
BiHung:.....and why should he try that? Jonathan was taken to the cleaners by these same press especially the ones engineered by the then opposition party, APC! Buhari under this new dispensation must learn to live with the press excesses his own party, APC, largely contributed to and above all APC should face the enormous task of 'fixing Nigeria' which to me is KEY! |
Tonitelli:Are you still sleeping guy? Painful for wetin... you guys (APC) are now on the hot seat so brace up for the propaganda soup you love to cook and eat. I dey laff ooooo ![]() |
barcanista:A big AMEN to your prayers my brother, now that PDP is in the opposition, trouble times lie ahead for the ruling APC as they are about to be paid back in their own coin of extreme and baseless propaganda! I dey laff in advance ![]()
|
koboko69:Which wound? I have been around as a kid from Buhari's military era and now, I have never allowed their era to determine my life.....only the wise can understand my postulations! If you think Buhari's time will put nice shelter on your head you are still thinking better start acting. 'The poor allow the government to determine their destiny, the rich determine theirs' ![]() |
Investigative journalism gone bananas, SaharaReporters has been operating as the media arm of APC since its formation in 2013. Now that APC is coming in as the ruling party after the fall of PDP at the centre, the type of 'investigative journalism' played by SaharaReporters is bound to blow them in the face as it is glaring they are stoking the fire of partiality in their news coverage! |
Michdear:My dear you have said it all, God bless you! |
Burger01:It simply means Mimiko is still in charge and the next Governor will definitely be under PDP.....now you know why it is big. |
kosovo:Bakare will not be that stupid to take that 'poisoned chalice' called EFCC........this committee headed by Bakare will definitely not go down well with Tinubu this is a FACT for those who know ![]() |
raumdeuter:Dayokanu, why do I think you are a slave in your former life and now dig deep and learn Mallam is back again and as usual Yorubas will still kowtow and play the 2nd fiddle when in 2011 you predicted Buhari will trounce Jonathan in SW, you never saw urself as a political neophyte but now u dey foam for mouth....enjoy ur slavery! GEJ 4Life |
Scatterboss:You must have suffered too much in your life to always see SUFFERING etched in ur memories old goat...Tinubu don't feed me, likewise Jonathan so why are you foaming at the mouth? |
I thought one miserable paper called The Nation reported earlier that one Dakuku Peterside is winning with a wide margin........ ![]() |
Why won't the Army and Navy be involved when APC and hooliganism are like siamese twins. |
walepinna:For your mind no be by muscle, says Lagosians! |
......
|
Keneking:......and Buhari at 73 is 'too young' to govern Nigeria? I pray you won't die before your time with your megede fegede logic! #HurricaneAgbaje# is it! |
shamelly:"Fear Not" my bro so says the Holy Writ.....Agbaje is winning today and nothing will happen. Also Wike is winning today no shaking. Tinubu is just a loudmouth not a strategist, the fools in Lagos made him so. Appreciation in advance to my Igbo brothers and sisters and most importantly the true omoluabis! |
Zico5:You are missing the big point here that many Lagosians (especially the Yorubas) are fed up with Tinubu's high-handedness in Lagos affairs and today liberation has come the way of Lagosians. |
