alaoeri: Coming from Nomoreloss, what is he trying to say?
In simple English, D'banj never donated any =N=7 million as erroneously peddled around and he is asking D'banj to publicly challenge this story making the rounds about his donations instead of keeping quiet!
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Daughter Officially Installed As Traders’ Leader By The Oba Of Lagos by tomakint: 12:10pm On Jul 03, 2013
jmaine: Bros, We are talking about a man who is hero worshipped in Lagos and is often hailed for his propensity to dole out good gifts especially cash effortlessly. We are talking about a man whose vice like hold and grip on the political sphere of Lagos is exceptional .

It's even infantile not to believe those 57 stakeholders were not simply beholden to Lord Tinubu here for gains and favours the press won't even know about.

The PDP predicted this move, even though it was stoutly denounced by the ACN despite the treachery that was about to be legalized.

The market stakeholders in millions are behind the Iyaloja simply because 57 Market leaders took a decision on their behalf

More like saying Nigerians were happy about how the fuel subsidy removal protest ended simply because the NLC and the TUC representing their cause accepted the terms and condition of the presidency . .
.
Or

How Nigerians are happy on the Alams amnesty saga since all Govs (including the opposition)representing each state and its inhabitant acceded to it.

Bros, No matter how hard you try, this is plain wrong

That's all grin

Politics › Re: Nigeria Remains United Because Of Yorubas’ ‘immense’ Sacrifices, Says Don by tomakint: 11:47am On Jul 03, 2013
I totally concur with the OP on these;

Ngwakwe: The lecturer lambasted the current crop of Southwest politicians.
Ngwakwe: Mr. Fawole said that Nigeria has always progressed whenever the southwest region is experiencing peace and development, which automatically rubs off on other regions.
Ngwakwe: He then lashed out at the current political leaders from the region, accusing them of hobnobbing with “enemies” of the Yoruba tribe.

“It is obvious to me that the present crop of so-called political leaders who got the Yoruba mandate by hook or crook to govern us in this Fourth Republic lack the intellectual depth, political sagacity and the finesse that their First and Second Republic predecessors brought into politics and governance,” he said.
Ngwakwe: “Not only is their political performance profoundly pedestrian and disappointing, judging by the standards the Yoruba people are already used to, some of the governors sought unholy alliance with the enemies of Yoruba all in the name of political mainstreaming. If only they can summon half the commonsense of their esteemed predecessors, it wouldn’t have been difficult for them to perceive that such opportunistic dalliance was bound to miscarry for the entire Yoruba people who have been made a laughing stock.”
Ngwakwe: Mr. Fawole said there is still hope for the Yoruba race and by extension Nigeria, to regain its honourable position, if leaders, irrespective of political affiliation, can rally for a “pan-Yoruba political and development agenda.”

“For the avoidance of partisanship, which may vitiate any collective developmental effort, the leading lights of the Yoruba nation will have to come up with a blueprint,” he said. “I am aware that such a blueprint already exists in what is known as Development Agenda for Western Nigeria, DAWN, which was developed by the Afenifere Renewal Group. Regrettably, it has yet to receive the requisite popular acclaim among the Yoruba that will make it a living document. This is perhaps because some prefer to see it as the product of a splinter group of the main Afenifere, or even by some as an Action Congress of Nigeria document for the capture and domination of the Southwest.”

A discussant, Modupe Fashina, former Eti-Osa local government area chairperson, said Yoruba nation currently lacks a leader because of “politics of money” and bitterness, which she advised the youth to avoid.
Ngwakwe: The last discussant, Frederick Fasehun, founder of Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, said that behind the current demand for Sovereign National Conference, SNC, in the southwest lies a deception.

“If it has been impossible to have SNC at the national level, what stops them from organising it at the regional level? I will not associate with anyone who has denigrated Awolowo,” he proclaimed.
The "Enemies" here are definitely the 'Hausa-Fulanis' Tinubu and his cohorts are hobnobbing with for political gains at the national level! Yorubas like Tinubu and his cohorts makes me wonder aloud that when are some Yorubas going to learn from history undecided

Celebrities › Ruggedman Blasts Ini Edo, D'banj Others Over Silence In OJB Jezreel's Donations by tomakint(op): 10:39am On Jul 03, 2013
Popular rapper, Ruggedman, who shot into the limelight by taking a swipe at Eedris Abdukareem, Maintain and others has again lambasted some of his colleagues who have kept quiet over their alleged false donations to the 'Save OJB Jezreel' campaign.

There have been reports and counter-reports that some celebs have made donations towards raising the needed N16million for the treatment of the music producer, which the organising committee in charge of the campaign has debunked.

There were reports that Ini Edo paid the sum of N2million, D'Banj (N7million), 2Face (N1.5million), Olamide (N1million) and Ice Prince (N500,000), which the committee claimed are not true.

Last weekend, it was also rumoured that due to the false reports about these donations, the Lagos State government reportedly withdrew its support towards the cause.

Worried by this development and the inability of the managers of these celebs involved in this matter coming out to clear the air on the issue, Ruggedman has vented his anger and has termed the above celebs as "liars".

"Mr celebrity, if u r mentioned as donating money to saveojbjezreel n its false u r as bad as d liars if u don't come out n clear it. Miss celebrity,if u r mentioned as donating money to #saveojbjezreel n its false u r as bad as d liars if u don't come out n clear it." The rapper posted online.

It will even interest you to know that the 'Ebora of Owu' kickstarted a project he called "Operation 500 roads" a project he claimed will target repairing and constructing new roads, unfortunately the Ebora didn't achieved 50 roads not to talk of 100! Garri the 1st: In those days our women's had taut "MINISTRIES". Even when it had to be stretched what usually occurred is "Elastic Deformation".

Nowadays due to excessive investment in the "MINISTRY", most have exceeded the elastic limit leading to "Plastic Deformation" when stretched. Such plastically deformed components cannot maintain a laminar flow, leading to the turbulent flow you people have been experiencing.
