Good day moms.

Abeg make una help me figure this out.
I'm 10 months Post Natal and I've not seen my flow since I gave birth.
3 days back I experienced painful crams and sore nipple, very painful when baby is sulking. I'm still experiencing the painful nipple though the crams have subsided.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Exact description of my baby.
I was told its jedejede. I was using scent leave, squeeze and put in lo's mouth and bum bum.

Running temp and diarrhea isn’t good. Visit the hospital if it persists. It’s not teething. It’s the dirt, bacteria, and germ she’s introduced to her system as a result of chewing on everything she can lay hands on.

Did u use a bottle for her early on for feeding? Bottle fed babies tend to reject direct breast nursing and vice versa. Just feed her with bottle, spoon etc. Main thing is that she eats and gets fluids.

She's strong now and has recovered. She's eating well and no diarrhea is gone too.

Let her be, especially if you keep trying and she keeps refusing. Some babies wean themselves off breastmilk earlier than expected. It's not abnormal. Make up for it by feeding her every hour or two. Start soft solids for her too since she's six months.

Good evening everyone.

Please o I need help, my dd of 6ms doesn't like breast milk, I'll have to force her each time I want to feed her.
We were on EBF but I had to start giving her myboy and akamu at 5ms cos of this attitude.
Now, she'll cry when I want to put her to breast.
Also she has been passing out greenish poo running temperature too. dunno if it's cos teeth, she two teeth.

Please o don't waka pass na first time mum.

Hi mama.... My almost 3 weeks old baby caught cold and cough from her big bro and we did steam inhalation, gave her Vitamin C, kept her warm and make sure the room is not scruffy

cough syrup for a 3 months old is a no no. Do steam inhalation for her and give her vit c drops.

Cough syrup isnt even recommended for a 2year old, talk more of a 3month old. Stop it.

Take your baby to the hospital. Most times, it will resolve on it's own, continue breastfeeding. It is most probably the weather.

Oh. I didn't know that. I'll stop using it then.

My 3mths old baby is coughing seriously, please what do you recommend? I've given her cough syrup for 3days now but no significant difference. What should I do? I'm worried as a first mum

No experience with this. Do you massage her with warm water to be sure she’s not having pains? Hope you also don’t use water that’s too hot or too cold on her. Is your home cold? That could give her shiver too

She's 2 months.

I'm the only one bathing her.

Aside bathing time, when i uncloth her you'll see that she'll want to hold something to feel secured, she doesn't cry at that time though. Also, when i put her on my shoulder she will hold herself as if she wants to fall.

Good evening everyone.. Please help I need help with my DD, she's so scared and I don't know why. Each time I remove her cloth to bath her she'll be scared and start crying. Who has experienced this and what can I do?

Hello mamas. Please help me o, how can I receive pain from cracked nipple? Please note that this is the only breast my baby sucks from as the other one is inverted. I express from it in a bottle and feed her. Please should I continue breastfeeding her with the cracked nipple? My MIL is saying its her mouth that will heal it. Please is this true? Thinking I should give the nipple a break for a while because it's really painful when sucking it.

I had same experience and mine was even the two nipples.
What I did was that I continue giving my lo to suck though very painful but they were all healed.
Pls don't give it a break o, that might result to something more serious.

Please what can I use for this body itch. It is driving me crazy. It is only my tummy I don’t scratch. My breast is itchy, thighs, arms. Everywhere

No remedy o. I used everything when I had it but no change. I guess it's part of the package.

I had a rough journey all through pregnancy, after i took in malaria set in. I battled with it till after first trimester then I started leaking amniotic fluid at 32 weeks...hmmm I was scared of loosing my baby. I was placed on bed rest and was given steroids to mature baby lungs in case she decides to come early. Got discharged and the Dr booked me for weekly scan to monitor baby's development. Fast forward to 38wks +2 i was booked for ECS to prevent me from going into labour.

29th May around 11 am they wheeled me to the theatre and my PCV was just 30%, then God brought the most senior Dr to my rescue, dh was scared and we told him of my PCV he then said we should wait till I get a donor before going to the operating room. Dh donated blood before they started. Few minutes pass 12 my baby was brought out. Stayed in the hospital for 1week and was discharged.
Healing has been miraculous
My baby is doing well
Dh is super happy
Happy family at last.

I'm now a mother and vigilante is real, I've heard a lot of people say it but I've had first hand experience..

For me they start to sleep through the night once I stopped breastfeeding and also stopped offering tea or water at night. let's say three days after.

So I still have a long way to go.

Don't be worried. A few weeks after birth, my baby sometimes go a week without pooing. It's nothing to worry about. She will poor at her own time

Whether or not you give her she will outgrow them before 3 mths, Its called Colic and common in children. It is gas swallowed during breastfeeding .

How to help.
1.After every feed gently massage the back from down to up to let the gas escape.

2.lie her down facing you and gently move her legs as if she is riding a bicycle. She would fart
3.Dont make a habit of giving "suggested" drugs to your infant. All she needs now is warmth, food and enough rest. If you are concerned pls take her to the hospital.

It's called gas. My baby went through it too. Just make sure you burp her after each feed. Some parents say grape water works magic but others think infancol is good too
