Welcome to May my beautiful and wonderfuly teamies.
Yaaaayyyyy, just a month to go, can you believe it? This journey that seemed very long , from the BfP, to morning sicknesses, to second trimester, and now we are here, just a month from now we will be meeting our beautiful and handsome LO's. Isn't God a good God??
Thankful to God for keeping us this far, for keeping us going, through all the ups and downs, pregnancy no easy but God has been Faithful.

Congratulations to April mamas, thanks for giving us beautiful and insightful B.S. We had a very nice time with you all here and we pray that the Lord continue to keep you all, your babies and your families safe ijn. May everything that brings you all joy not turn to sorrow ijn . Miracletoday weldone, nah good cappo u be. Will surely miss you here.

May mamas, your long awaited month is here, grateful to God for keeping you all till this moment, we pray for a painless and easy delivery for all of you ijn. We await everyone's B.S.



June mamas please let's try and always reply our mentions whenever I check up on us, abeg, nah beg I dey beg us.

This month, I encourage us to take our baby shopping, especially hospital list more seriously. May God provide for our needs ijn. If possible let's pack our hospital bags o, for those that will port to May so everything won't be in a rush. Let's try and get ready and put finishing touches this month. God bless us!

Let's continue to take our Prenatals, do small small exercise, eat healthy, pray, attend our antenatal and incase we notice any discomfort or pain (God forbid) do not hesitate to call your doctor's to complain.

I was a member of this thread in 2018 and had my baby, I got pregnant again last year with my second baby but unfortunately lost my baby after birth in January this year.
The holy spirit has been ministering to me to give out everything I bought to a mother in need, so I am ready to do that but i need someone who is really in need and has not bought a single thing so i can give them all I have.
But i will need the group's help in choosing who i should give them to, i have things like car seat, dryer etc and other neccessities. Please anybody can reach out to me with the best way to choose or if there is already someone on this thread who needs it please let me know.

Please, I don't want to be judged. My husband is a good man. We have been married for 14 years. I am 33 years old. He is 39 years old. We have 4 kids - 3 girls and 1 boy. He has never cheated on me. Right from day 1, he has been very open. He is not the type of husband that locks phone and all of that. But I am tired. He has the habit of flaring up around the children and I don't like it. I don't want my kids to be damaged. I know some will say no marriage is perfect but at this point, I don't even want marriage again. I just want to be free and single and look after my kids. I am tired.

Anytime we have an argument, he always talks about how he did this and that for me. In front of the children. I don't want this kind of life. He hardly gets angry, maybe twice or thrice in a year but when he does, he does not have the sense to know he should not be doing it in front of the kids. He apologizes to them and to me but I am done.

He has no other issue apart from this. He has never beaten me or anything but I am tired. Overall he is a good husband to be fair and honest but I can no longer deal with this. I prefer to be single and free than deal with this rubbish.

I feel like pouring out my heart.

Just gave birth to a bouncing baby girl via VG
EDD 21st April
DOB 18th April
My BS story is a very interesting one from beginning of conception right till Birth.
The conception came as a surprise because my last pregnancy was CS, since baby was breeched, so we wanted to wait for her to clock 3 before trying again, but God knows best. Was praying for both of them to be birthday mate because my first is April 16.
As the pregnancy progressed baby was in breeched position, but thank God she later turned head down.. Because the doctors were already giving option of CS, since I wanted to try VBAC...Went to the hospital on Sat and doctor checked and said my OS is still closed, funny enough my water broke that very night and labor started, I had already been briefed that I won't be induced because of the previous,that labor would have to be natural since I wanted to try VBAC ..Omo the pain was something else,for almost 24hours i was in labor... But thank God it finally ended in praise... Wishing rest mamas safe delivery....

Lemme rant small

Is anyone drinking water like me

I finish 10 sachet water for the day, is it not too much

If I wake up at night, my throat will be dry, very dry, so I drink water day and night

Just one day that I didn't take more than 4sachet of water, headache hammer me eh

As I drink much, I wee much
I literally finish 2bags of sachet water in 3to 4 days, I'm scared o

Good morning Mamas, August Cappo, it is with great pain in my heart I write to tell you that this is where my pregnant journey ends. Lost my angel this morning around 20weeks plus after a cerclage was placed at 14 weeks, I am down I feel everything just goes against me anytime I am pregnant. FYI, this will be my fourth miscarriage...I don't know what to do, I feel for my husband because he has been of great help all through

I just want to  encourage us to do well in our BS submission. It is not in competition with any team or anybody,but we all learn from it. doctors most times make generic decisions,but we know our bodies better and women instinct can't be ignored.bs are always eye openers,  when we drop BS, it helps others to make informed decisions, widens our knowledge about pregnancy, the challenges,increases success rate, gives courage to FTM, fearful ones and those who may be reluctant to go for medical interventions when safer and necessary.
NObody is concern about grammars,who queens' English help. Even white man dey write rubbish o. Then it is not nollywood movie, where u begin to say ,this film sweet, this no sweet.just give us like that.u don't have to be a writer.nairaland will not pay anybody if it is sweet pass king of boys abi toluwanile.Just tell us wetin happen we don't mind mix of language, we all be naija, we go understand.

Just this morning I was with my sister at the hospital because her baby was sick

After few hours the baby died right in front of me, I've not been myself since then

I have headache, I can't sleep, my vision is kinda blur, I'm restless

The Lord is our strength mama. Attyms I reason porting too o because of d pain(once cry self) but will still be like NO, sum people has passed through the stage and they overcame so I will overcome it(dat's how I gv myself courage o)

Who was complaining about leg pain and ache as a result of sleeping by the side at 19weeks the other day lol? Even at 31 weeks, the ache and discomfort and freezing of leg that comes with sleeping on both sides is still there for me even with pillows ATI gbogbo e.
It's never easy getting use to pain
You wake up to pee often, your legs from the hips are freezing, turning is the worst exercise, inshort sleeping at night nah war. Lol

We are really thankful to God for bringing us to another beautiful new month, in good health with our LO's.

And to all April mamas, you all shall all go to d labor room and come back alive with your healthy newborns ijn. We await all ur beautiful B.A and B.S.

June mamas, how we dey? Lol I know say e no easy, it seems far small shey? Well to me Sha lol. But not to worry, slowly but surely, we are almost there. 9 months journey is too small compared to the forever we get to spend with our babies, so hang in there, it will soon be over. And be strong. God is our strength.

How's third trimester going?
I hope we are taking our drugs, even if it's not daily
I hope we are already doing our baby shopping? especially the hospital list, please let's try and start now before we become too strong to do it. Now that we still have strength.

I hope we are eating healthy too, I won't even lie, I detest fruits now, but I dey try, maybe once in a week or two weeks sef atimes


What about the TT injection and anti malaria drugs? Shey we are following up? Checking our pcv and blood pressure? And attending our antenatal .

Please do exercise as much as you can, take a walk in the evening , it will make you feel better, and about the heat, shower as much as you can, naked yourself in your house for fresh air


We are almost almost through, we are almost there, be strong comrades. We shall all smile at the end of this journey.
The lord will see us through ijn, there shall be no still birth ijn. We shall all be strong this month, no complications for us and for our LO's ijn. And I cover us all with the blood of Jesus.

And finally, let's be prayerful, wake up at night and can't sleep again? Pray. Say positive things and affirmations to your LO's future.

My doc. Told me then 15months after CS, can try VBAC.. but still confirm with your doc. Hes in the best position to advice you.
