Whatever argument which makes logical sense in Nigeria, as long as the Awusa man in Zamfara doesn't lay his fingers DIRECTLY on allocation coming from the crude oil in the SS, he will never agree to it. This is why Buhari is northernizing the Nigerian Army so as to "hold Nigeria together as one" in case of any eventualities. Let's not deceive ourselves, the brand of federalism we practice today is designed and sustained to favour the Awusas. This is why Abuja's federal civil service is just overbloated with mostly Northerners playing ludo under trees in various ministries. At the end of the month they would all collect salaries from crude oil proceeds. We are going nowhere walking backwards in this country. Every lousy state government must get ready to sustain herself with her own resources. Scrap the useless Senate which consumes what it doesn't generate or work for. But will the Awusas agree? |
Aboabo:1+4=5 2+5=7+5=12. 3+6=9+12=21 4+7=11+21=32 5+8=13+32=45 6+9=15+45=60 7+10=17+60=77 Therefore, 8+11=19+77=96 Formulae: a+b=(a+b)+b*(a-1) [used] =a+b+ab-b =a+ab [faster] |
Ojiofor:The foool has contributed tribalism and bigotry to his family. |
Senseless, bigotic, useless, myopic, retrogressive, ethnic, tribal thread... Op your type is one of the reasons Nigeria might never know true peace, love and unity because your mind is just charcoal-black Bye bye! *leaves thread* |
refiner:Do you require a bible or phone to quote john 3:16? The word of God is spirit and whether you read it out from a stone, a book or a phone (of course the phone should at best be on airplane mode to avoid distacting calls) doesn't matter. In fact if you can cram the entire bible and read passages by heart, that's awesome because God prefers His word to be written in your heart. |
In this dangerous country a young woman has the liver to walk around alone at 5am preaching? No male partner with her, just a deadly solo mission in a country where every street has at least one church. If this woman was married I blame the husband! How can you allow your wife to walk the deadly streets alone at such a time? |
ahnie:I don't know what breed of dog/puppy you are referring to, but DO NOT EVER try that with a Rotweiler. |
dunkem21:A Chinese worker would agree to work for 25 percent of an American worker's pay. And passionately too! So their product turns out cheaper. |
michellhilton:Talk is cheap. Sounds like another APC. How many Americans would be ready to work for the same Chinese hourly wages? At $10 per hour, for sure iPhone 6 wouldn't sell for less than 400,000 Naira. Global sales would drop. |
...America must be careful with this man. |
Tjohnnay:Haba! Like seriously? Money for offering? How can you beg for money for offering? While most pastors are living like emperors. I just hope you are joking! |
permanentgrace:Some of the people you call beggars today would be wealthy tomorrow. Please don't come here to mock anyone especially if you have no help to offer anyone here. Those giving out money ain't fools. If you can eat twice or trice a day don't laugh at the students who cry that they are hungry and have no money. It's reality! Just read comments if you are not here to put a smile on someone's face. Stop discouraging those whom God is using to show love to people. |
TheNonce:Wella. |
Peezzy:I sometimes laugh when I hear some people call for revolution. It simply shows that there can never be any revolution. It's like living in a dirty house with 9 other nonchalant people and then expecting that one day SOMEONE would tidy up the whole place. But in reality SOMEONE doesn't exist. No body bears that name. Nobody wants to bell the cat. Everybody wakes up in the morning hoping that SOMEONE would revolt. We've lived with that pseudo hope since 1960. This is 2016 and we are still expecting that heroic SOMEONE to revolt. In Egypt, a guy set himself ablaze and that was how the whole country shook in it's foundations. But here in Naira, give a hungry man 5k and we buy more time for looters and polithiefcians. Like you aptly said, the mentality of our youths is pretty much messed up. The way out is to first work on our collective psyche, a kind of fine tuning. You can only expect germination in a well fertilized soil. Not on rocks. |
cocoduck:Guy stop sounding rude. I've lived a good part of my life in Canada and I've also spent vacations in USA, so don't talk as if you know it all. Understand when someone makes a simple point that PROBLEMS WONT SOLVE THEMSELVES, AND THE SOLUTION IS NOT ALWAYS TO RUN AWAY FROM NIGERIA. I was working 9-5 in the West then, but today I've workers on my payroll in Nigeria. You Mister Nigeria-is-a-hell-hole, have you ever asked yourself what are all the white expatriates/workers doing in Nigeria? Hell-hole right? Olamide said: "Better to be a lion in the jungle than to be a dog in the city"... |
princey83:Count yourself lucky. Perhaps you are using the most updated (high end) ones. I've had some android user friends complain of "strange apps installing themselves. |
This is one of the reasons why android is a no-no for me. I've stuck to Apple's iOS since 2010, notwithstanding that's it's not really a "fluid" choice in terms of connectivity with other OSes. I've been using iPhones without "antivirus" and have never had issues with malware/virus or their likes. Truth is if you do sensitive information-related stuffs on your phone (such as internet banking) stay away from android. Personally my phone is my bank, safe, diary, and lots more which I can't afford to be compromised by some self-installing malwares. iOS is peace of mind. |
Mathemagician1:Really pathetic. |
PAINGAIN:Leaving Nigeria ain't the ultimate solution trust me because I've been out there. When you step outside Nigeria you would know what they mean by "nowhere like home". |
Maduawuchukwu:Obviously we are operating on a faulty foundation but all hope is not lost. |
kingofchess:Lol me too. The guy was just too real and honest. I'm sure he will succeed. |
The original thread was really heart wrenching, plain, truthful, honest, and touching. I started with the thread on ghost mode, the writer was writing in pidgin and flowing really naturally in his Lamentations of the sufferings unemployed youths are facing in present day Naija. Then suddenly someone in the thread offered to give out some tokens to our suffering youths. That was almost novel but several other persons later joined him in the kind gestures So what can we learn from that thread that has hit over 62 pages as I type? 1) Nigerians are kind people 2) Nigerians are loving 3) Nigeria can be a very great place 4) there is hope for the future no matter what you are going through now 5) our problem is not the other tribe, religion or region. Our problem is greedy leaders 6) love cuts across religion and tribe 7) your brother is not necessarily that person tied to you by blood 8 we must unite in love and stop abusing each other because of politicians and their devilish political parties 9) many Nigerians help because they CARE; not because of what they can get from you, like we see with the politicians 10) youths can come together to face their common enemy: BAD LEADERSHIP God bless those givers and may those youths in need never lack again. May God provide them with the jobs and breakthrough they enerstly seek, amen! POSTSCRIPT: I sometimes laugh when I hear some people call for revolution. But here in Nigeria, give a hungry man 5k and we buy more time for looters and polithiefcians. Even the NDA guys who are trying to make a bold- albeit violent- sociopolitical statement for the ND youths are being stabbed in the back by some other hungry ND youths. So what shape would the revolution take? The mentality of our youths is pretty much messed up. The way out is to first work on our collective psyche, a kind of fine tuning. Hitler used this tactic before he unleashed his dragons. You can only expect germination in a well fertilized soil. Not on rocks. |
mrkayusfit:When faced with extreme lack, it's better to beg than to steal. But always tell yourself, I shall be a giver and not a receiver in my lifetime! Challenge God! Tell God to prove Himself in your life. Remember the story of Joseph. |
macarena:God will turn your sorrow into laughter sooner than you expect. |
macarena:Do not give up sister! |
Madonna= Beauty - Brain |
TrapQueen77:It's obviously unreal, photoshopped. Whatcha think? |
Yolobas sef smh. Every year you gather by MKO's grave to wail but the demons- Awusa Foolanis- who killed your hero still remains your best friends. Wouldn't MKO's bones be shaking in disgust? IBB et al are all breathing and walking upandan freely. Continue deceiving yourselves! |
