there’s a place i call home there’s a space where i roam that space is your heart there’s a kingdom where i reign within the golden walls of your love i am a roman general back from battle i return to you tonight, my rome i return to my beautiful rome i return to my breathtaking rome i bring the spoils of war, everything you welcome me, in a flowery procession a shower of rose petals against a rhythmic clank of metals we retire to a rose oil wine bath where the scars and stars carve a path to our destiny |
halfricanadian:Sounds like depression. You don't think food is a culprit? Cos when they are depressed they tend to eat more. |
donokoh:Sperm ke? How many wives dey give "head", talk less of to swallow? I disagree with you sir! |
halfricanadian:Now you're looking at it from an entirely new perspective. What kinda problems are you taking about here? |
sinaj:Oh yes some men gain weight and pot belly. That's a topic for another thread (probably there's a thread on NL which explores the subject). Talking about pregnancy, do you think that the weight gain during the process is irreversible? I could mention well known Nigerian ladies who are still in a fantastic shape even after putting to bed. From my own little observation, too much food coupled with lack of exercise is the biggest contributor. |
MissRike:Lol MissRike does that explain why the husbands stay trim while wives blow out of shape? So much about protein supplements! |
Unique04:Yep I know childbearing brings about weight gain. But it's not irreversible. It's just the zeal. Besides, this wasn't the type of weight gain I was referring to. It goes beyond that. Talking about "consciously blowing out of shape" without 1) exercises to burn calories to maintain weight 2) sticking to a healthy eating habit wilhich includes the right calories intake considering ones BMI and level of physical activity. I totally agree with you that an out-of-shape wife shouldn't be a ticket for a man to cheat. But do you realize that staying in shape is a strong attraction factor in keeping your man all to yourself? |
0ubenji:Hahaha. |
lefulefu:You are very right. Well I'm sure they are ready for the consequences... |
ayotrey:Is there an MFM closest to you? Please rush there for deliverance before your demonic possession completely destroys your destiny! |
0ubenji:I know what you are driving at. Just go ahead and share your thoughts... |
I met some former colleagues of mine whom I'd seen about 6 years ago. Believe me, while I was able to recognize all the guys, it was a Herculean task identifying all the ladies, most of whom I knew to be slim/trim/curvy and unmarried then. Almost all of these once-slim ladies are now looking big and fat and absolutely less plummy than they used to be. Why is it hard for MANY married ladies to stay trim and sexy? Is marriage a "breakthrough from hunger" or what? And why do they express shock when their husbands go after trim and shapely ladies outside? Is it that they didn't know that men are typically motivated by sensual sights? I've seen a lot of ladies in their 30s who are so lazy to even take a 20 minutes walk in a week, at least just to exercise and burn some fat. Let's not even mention going to the gym. They drive or board okada all their lives. And when they eat, you'd ve amazed at the amount of calories they consume! Are this category of ladies aware that the game is becoming dangerously tighter because "oga" is constantly inundated with young, trim, energetic and sexy girls on a daily basis; while his own wife keeps growing fat and out of shape and looking like his mother? Guys, do you like your wife looking like she's your mum? |
abiodun2007:But how many Nigerian ladies can maintain this sexy shape after putting to bed? And lemme ask again, why do many Nigerian ladies (no matter how slim) get fat once married? |
dre11:Mob ties cable thieves to TRANSFORMER FENCE and not TRANSFORMER! Op your topic is very misleading as you can see from some of the misconstrued comments above mine. |
jmichlins:I understand berra now. |
iphone 5 like new, and works flawlessly. Briefly Used in Canada but recently unlocked in Nigeria.16 GB -black -good battery -loaded with extra extremely useful apps asking for 42k -serious buyers enquiries are welcome. |
ariksonconnect:I want to trade in my very neat iphone 5 in exchange for iPhone 5s 64GB, what are the terms? #a serious buyer pls SOLD SOLD SOLD |
jmichlins:I think what you should request rather from greenhulk is to give you the go-ahead to go and recover the stolen phone. You should bear the little operational cost and also do the running around (should take about a day at most). That should be a fairer deal than asking a busy guy (who says he's already gotten over his loss) to go and recover the phone and hand it over to you. Whatcha think? |
Clinton594:Absolutely, just an hour's job and the criminal would bear the cost 400 percent. |
mu2sa2:This your comment is bad because you are giving similar criminals ideas to perfect their crime. Op needs POSITIVE advice I'm sure. |
greenhulk:Take out time on a Saturday and go there with about 2 soldiers (If you have a commissioned officer friend, he would arrange this, I don't believe in police). I believe you will get the technician. In less than 30 minutes he would bring you guys face to face with the armed robber. That's the point where the soldiers would really enjoy because the beating eh, e go be like say make ground swallow am. It's worth it, just do it. I don't know if you are worth a billion Naira for you to tell us that recovering your well deserved property is not important. |
dominique:Google |
Pandorabox:Well we are looking at natural scenarios where one thing leads to the other and you end up in the mood... And then he says no... What would be your reaction? |
dosantos:Wow in primary 5? You mean 8/9 year olds present the same issues? |
seangy4konji:Hmmm you don't let ANYBODY down? Even when it's inappropriate? |
chimere66:Did it occur to you that Buratai is also into private business? Abi na only salary e go depend on? |
Beamborla:Truly Nigerian ladies are awesome. Imagine my woman would wash my clothes, cook variety of soups and store in my freezer, mop my apartment, go to the market to buy foodstuff and at night she's still a tigress in bed, sometimes taking me on a marathon till the wee hours of the morning. And here is a working class lady. It's like eating one's cake and having it! Our ladies certainly have a lot good to offer only if we treat them right. Just the way you would pamper your mum. |
harsysky:Hoping really hard not to sound off as one who's blowing his own trumpet, my core strength is the realization that sex has spiritual (and later physical) implications. This knowledge guides me because whoever a man sleeps with, know it that there is some sort of spiritual connection, an unseen bond which could be positive or regrettably negative. It's what the bible describes as BEING ONE FLESH with your partner. This is why SEX is the greatest weapon the forces of darkness use to disgrace great men of God and pull down their ministries. Examples abound all around us. |
If not for the fact that no one cares anymore about history and Truth in Nigeria, Hausas and Yorubas should have attested to the plain fact that a large chunk of Igbos refused to vote for Buhari not because of his tribe or religion, but basically because of his antecedence and his present body language. In the past, a good chunk of Igbos voted for Abiola, Obasanjo, Yar Adua and even Goodluck Jonathan. All these guys weren't Igbos. Tell me who is more detribalized in present day Nigeria than millions of Igbo sons and daughters born and living in different corners of Nigeria, speaking their various languages fluently and contributing to developing their respective communities? But sadly, today, Igbos are now labelled as tribalistic simply because many of them didn't vote for CHAINS in the guise of CHANGE. I think posterity shall judge Nigerians appropriately. |
MirabelArode:I must confess, this your topic/question sounds shocking but quite thought-provoking. Igbos actually loved Yar Adua. And I must admit quite a lot of Igbos dislike Buhari. Buhari has done a lot of things in the past and present to contribute to the present way he's being perceived by some sections of Nigeria. He's largely seen as an Islamist, a nepotistic individual and a very mean-hearted ex soldier. All these things are echoed in the way he talks and acts, for instance the 97/5 percent statements he made. His deployment of soldiers to kill unarmed protesting eastern youths on several occasions aptly describes the kind of mean heart he possesses. Does he have a listening ear like Yar Adua? Certainly no. Is he a sincere man? Buhari is indeed a living example of Hypocrisy on two feet. Pretence is his middle name- how do one explain all the lies he told during APC's campaign, about being a "poor Daura farmer"? And how do we even grasp his assertion that Abacha wasn't corrupt? Oh even Tinubu isn't corrupt! (I dance in Zulu). Buhari's quest for power cost Nigerians several lives on two different occasions. He showed no remorse. And if Jonathan had refused to step down in 2015, only God knows the degree of bloodshed this nation would have witnessed...ALL IN THE NAME OF BUHARI- just one old, fragile human being who has enjoyed power since his early thirties... SMH. Lastly, igbos consider fronting Buhari for the presidency as a huge slap to sanity because: 1) he was a coup plotter who destroyed a democratic dispensation; 2) he has no basic qualification such as WAEC, meaning his admission into the army is simply FRAUD; 3) he was feared to be linked or sympathetic to Boko Haram. Yar Adua (May his soul rest in peace) was a man of peace, love and intelligence. A true Nigerian president, unlike the present NORTHERN PRESIDENT occupying Aso Rock. God help Nigeria! |
