Actually, it was Tinubu who created and started using the ibo factor in Lagos politics.
Hitherto his appoint of an ibo as commissioner back in 2006, ibos never had any political ambitions in Lagos. The Lagos APC spokesperson is also ibo. What an aberration!

As for the Jet(s) RCCG has never used its own money to buy any Jet, its wealthy parishoners; Partners and others that contributed money for the purchase(s). In the fianl absence of the G.O, the company remains.

That jet, in Naira terms cost about 13 billion Naira. Do you know how many hospitals and schools that would build all over Nigeria? Do you know how many indigent Nigerians that money would send abroad for postgraduate studies?

Even if he has been helping people, I think he should have done more instead of buying a jet.

He should be seen to live a very humble and austere life, just like Jesus did.

Governors elected under the All Progressives Congress have shunned a planned meeting of the Progressive Governors Forum in Katsina, forcing the organisers to cancel the event.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the meeting scheduled to hold between September 14 and 16, was to set legislative agenda for the implementation of the APC manifesto.

Also absent was the Senate President, Speaker, House of Representatives, Speakers of APC state assemblies and key officers of the party.

The Chairman, Local Organising Committee, Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa, told newsmen that the parley had to be postponed due to poor attendance.

According to him, most of the expected dignitaries have travelled to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj.

Inuwa, who is the Secretary to Katsina State Government, said although the state was fully prepared to host the event, “the postponement was necessary in view of low turnout of participants.”

The Director General of Progressive Governors Forum, Salihu Lukman said that a new date would be announced for the inaugural parley later.

Lukman said that the parley would assist APC governors to adhere to the party’s vision and mission and translate it into good governance.

One thing I'll like you to know is that lagos is a blessed place. No matter what you do to hurt it, it still grows. FCT was taken away from it to make it dilapidated, but see how developed it has become due to yoruba wisdom in fashola. Abuja can't even stand its commercial stance. When people claim lagos is just enjoying oil money from Niger delta, they were quickly silenced by the discovery of oil in lagos. Lagos is currently building a world class international airport in lekki which will divert a lot of foreign flights to itself because of the beauty of lekki. Talk about the refinery, free trade zone, badagry port, lekki deep sea port and the superb Eko atlantic artificial island just to mention a few. It is ridiculous to think the removal of a market where substandard electronic goods and pirated CDs are sold will cripple lagos. Majority of electronic companies are now opening showrooms across the state and the nation. So, whatever delusional glory alaba market has will fade off in the next couple of years. People now do shopping malls, not 2by2 shops.

What do you think ambode is up to with his recent meetings with korean and asian ambassadors? I believe his about to give them incentives so they can bring in their automobile companies to lagos.

News reaching me now suggests yoruba agberos and igbos are fighting at alaba. Got a call from my mum who resides there. Seems the agberos there are trying to take over collection of levies in the market just as they are trying to do at ladipo market.
I cant really say the genesis of todays fight. So please anyone around there should please update us on what is happening.I hearrd the army is on ground but i dont know how true that is. Some of us have loved ones residing in those areas.please
