A 10 year old boy has been rescued by the Child’s and Rehabilitation’s Network (CRARN) in Eket, Akwaibom state from the evil clutches of his dad and stepmom who maltreated, tortured and starved him for allegedly being possessed by demons.
The abuse went on for 18 months and he was left in the backyard without clothes before being rescued after a tip-off by a CRARN volunteer.
The Head of the NGO, Sam Utauma was quoted to have said:
"The Child’s and Rehabilitation Network (CRARN) is working with the police in Eket to unravel the probable cause of a father frequently tying up and manhandling his ten year old son in Ikot Udota, Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

"Little Ekemini has had a rough time with his father and stepmother in the family home for the past eighteen months. His situation took a turn for the worst the last eight months when his father began to tie and shackle him then drop him in the backyard sometime without food, persistent beatings and viciously manhandling him.

"His appalling condition caught the attention of a CRARN volunteer through a tip-off, and the police was alerted which led to the father’s arrest, unshackling and rescue of the young lad.

"The members of the community quickly rushed and bailed out the man who didn’t deny his act of brutality on his child but merely boasted that he has the right to treat his child as his he wished.

"Ekemini has complained bitterly about the unrelenting abuse and battering he endures in his family and says he fears for his life.

“I’m concerned that they’ll one day do away with me and nobody will know. Just the way they have been torturing me for a long time, and calling me all kinds of demonic names without help coming from anyone.” The young lad had told the police.

"While condemning this reprehensible act of brutality against this child, we will be following up with the situation to ensure that the child is safe and out of harm’s way."

Elizabeth Amoaa is a pretty Ghanaian woman who was born with two wombs and vaginas. This caused her a lot of pain and the doctors diagnosed her with didelphys in 2015.
She opened up that she felt a lot of back and stomach pains and was later said to have uterine fibroids which would make conception nearly impossible.

A 24 hour ultimatum has been issued to the thieves of the staff of office of the Oba of Lagos to return it or face the wrath of the gods.
Some thugs stormed Oba Rilwan Akiolu’s palace and made away with his staff of office with some carting away with covid 19 palliatives and the rest swimming in his swimming pool.
The ruling house said that failure to return it will amount to a spell to be cast on the culprit.
Prince Yomi Tokosi, the Chairman of the Isale Eko Descendants Union in an interview with Arise TV said: ”It is sacrilegous. Nobody goes into the Oba’s palace to remove the staff of office. It is a taboo. It is even an abomination. I can assure you it will be returned.
If we go by the tradition and the culture, they have a way to put a spell…well let me just assure you that it will be returned within the 24 hours except the person wants a spell on him.”

The DPO of Olosan police station in Mushin who allegedly killed eleven protesters in the #End SARS protest was said to have been beaten to a pulp by an angry mob.
He was put into a cart where he almost passed out.

Rioters invaded the palace of the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu and sacked the palace carting away some valuables including his staff of office.
Some covid 19 palliatives were discovered and were shared to the Lagos Island community by the angry youths.
A man was spotted wearing a branded shoe with the Oba’s name on it.

Some celebrities have taken to social media to react to the killings.

The musician son of Afrobeat Beat Maestro, Seun Kuti said that the youth protests goes beyond the #End SARS campaign. He said it has to do with a fundamental change that they are asking from the government.
He said on Instagram: “People should not sit in their high offices in Abuja. Bring yourself off your high horse. Come and relate with the people that just voted for you. Come and really hear what is going on,”
“Don’t feel victimized, don’t think there is somebody trying to get you. No. These are your people trying to talk to you,”
“This is actually a moment that we can actually build a bridge (between the government and the people), but they don’t want to hear that.The slogan might be EndSars but the mission is to change in the relationship we have with the government in this country.

Popular BBC journalist, Kiki Mordi has blasted D’Banj for always emotionally blackmailing Nigerians with the death of his son.
D’Banj took to twitter where he tweeted: “I know what it means to be in pain,to lose a child and a loved one..so I know the pain my brothers and sisters are going through and my heart is heavy . Music superstar Oritsefemi’s wife, Nabila moved out of their matrimonial home some weeks ago and berthed in the home of her friend, Caroline Danjuma.
The artiste called out Caroline for harbouring his wife but the latter fired back that Nabila was a victim of drug abuse and domestic violence. He then took to social media to beg his fans to appeal to her to return home.
It appears that Nabila heeded that call as they were pictured together during the #End SARS rally.

The Osun State Government has said that the attack on the Governor, Gboyegola Oyetola during the #End SARS protest was an assassination attempt.
The State Commissioner for Information, Funke Egbemode was quoted to have said:
“This was certainly beyond the #EndSARS protest. The people who launched the attack were not protesters at all.
“Protests have been going on in the State for some days now, and there had been no attack on any government official since the beginning of the protest. However, today’s attack changed the narrative.
“It was not a spontaneous attempt. The attackers had it all planned. They had guns and other weapons. In fact, it was a woman who smashed the windscreen of the vehicle of the Secretary to the State Government, Wole Oyebamiji where I was.
“It is really sad that these people infiltrated the ranks of the peaceful protesters and took advantage of the Governor’s walk with the youths to execute their sinister intentions.
“It was simply a street coup to take out the Governor, his Deputy and the Secretary to the State Government, all of whom were exposed during the protest and had to be smuggled into vehicles when the attack was launched."

Ambassador Hussaini Coomasie who was the Deputy National Coordinator of the Buhari Campaign Organization has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari for being too lenient with the #End SARS Campaigners. He said the protests couldn’t have happened when Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was in power.
He said: “Can you try this nonsense during Obasanjo's time? I blame Buhari for taking things lightly. There are certain things that should be handled with iron fist”.

Music superstar Peruzzi was driving on third mainland bridge when he ran into some armed robbers there.
Bringing out a toy gun, he scared them away and they took to their heels. This act of bravery made some Nigerians to call for the immediate removal of the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and for Peruzzi to be appointed in his place.

A Nigerian-American, Austin Chenge has thrown his hat in the ring in his bid to become the next Governor of Michigan in the United States of America.
Chenge, 34 and a native of Benue state is said to challenge a Congressman, Lamar Smith for the ticket in the Republican Party.
Chenge read law in the University of Birmingham in the UK before settling in the US where he served in the US Army and was decorated for his bravery while in service.

Popular Lagos lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana SAN has criticized the decision by President Muhammadu Buhari to send one of his new media aides, Lauretta Onochie to be an INEC Commissioner.
He described her as being partisan; he was quoted to have said: MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS OF POLITICAL PARTIES ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO BE INEC COMMISSIONERS
In view of the desire of President Muhammadu Buhari to fill some vacancies in the Independent National Electoral Commission it has become pertinent to draw the attention of the Council of State and the Senate to the following provisions of the Constitution:
1. In appointing the members of the INEC the President is required to consult with the Council of State pursuant to section 154 (3) of the Constitution;
2. Paragraph B of Part 1 of the 3rd Schedule to the Constitution provides that “The Council of State shall have power to advise the President in the exercise of his powers with respect to (iv) the Independent National Electoral Commission including the appointment of the members of the Commission.
3. Pursuant to section 154 (1) of the Constitution, the appointment of the members of the Independent National Electoral Commission shall be subject to confirmation by the Senate;
4. Paragraph 14 of Part 1 of the Third Schedule to the Constitution as amended by Section 30, Act No 1 of 2010, a member of the Independent National Electoral Commission “shall be non-partisan”.
From the foregoing, it is crystal clear that a card-carrying member of a registered political party or a well known supporter of a particular political party is constitutionally disqualified from the membership of the Independent National Electoral Commission. As an unrepentant member of the ruling party Mrs Loretta Onochie has consistently attacked members of other political parties. To that extent, she is partisan and therefore not qualified to be a member of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally addressed the nation with regards to the need for police reform. The #End SARS campaign has been raging on for weeks now which prompted the Inspector-General of Police to disband the body yesterday.
In his address to the nation, at the launch of the presidential youth empowerment scheme at the State House in Abuja on Monday, Buhari pledged to carry out an extensive reform of the Police Force.

Ronaldo is currently trying to help his native Portugal get past the qualification stage so that they can make history in the Asian country.

Guinean Binta Diallo, the second baby mama of music superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun a.k.a Wizkid has revealed that their long standing row has finally come to an end.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s twitter followers has reduced from 3.5 million to 3.4 million as a result of a campaign spearheaded by Reno Omokri, a fierce critic of his administration and a former new media aide to Goodluck Jonathan.
At exactly 5PM GMT, Mr Omokri had tweeted via his verified Twitter handle as follows:
Dear Nigerians, If we all mean business with this #EndSARS movement, let’s send a strong message to General @MBuhari.
He has 3.5 million followers. If we all stop following him and he sees his Twitter following drop by 1 million, he will sit up. Who is with me? Let’s go there! As at that time, President Buhari had 3.5 million followers.

Three hours later, his following had reduced to 3.4 million followers.
Omokri thanked all Nigerians and said that the struggle continues.
